Love my new gas stove!! Works great just glad it finally arrived. I think the pandemic has slowed everything down. Best Buy did a great job of keeping me informed.

Super efficient and six burners!! Love it. The burners heat up super fast and its very easy to clean.

I recently purchased a Viking 6 burner VGSU536 gas cooktop. I was drawn to the Viking due to the controls being on the side and less likely to require frequently cleaning. I also trusted the Viking name. I have been disappointed from the first week with my purchase. Not only does the stainless scratch easily but there are host of problems with the product quality. 1. Hard to control the simmer feature. At the lowest settings the burners often go off unexpectedly. 2. Although I like the side mounted controls, they are not intuitive to use, and it is hard to identify which one controls a specific burner. Also, hard to note which are on and which are off. 3. The aluminum trim rings around each burner are very hard to clean and stain from the most mundane spills, Viking says to us a non-scratch cleanser like Bon Ami but unless you have lots of time and a very strong arm, these rings will remain stained. It would be best if these were cast iron and removeable like my old cooktop. 4. Some of the rubber feet on the grates came off the first week. Oh, and Viking suggests washing the grates by hand and drying them. I assume the feet would all come off if you ran them through the dishwasher. 5. Burners don't always light. You have to give the brass burner a shake and then the burner will light. 6. Although covered by warranty, I have already had an ignitor go out. I do like the look of the stovetop, but the performance is no better than your average unit. I gave up a GE Profile due to some age but it lasted 20 years and I should have saved my money and bought another GE.

This Viking cooktop looks great in my kitchen. I love it, except one burner which doesn’t work. The lighter doesn’t switch off.

The product is working out great. My concern was that we weren't told that the warehouse in Tracy, CA where we were suppose to pick up the steel cooktop was moved to a different location. Therefore, we felt like we were sent out there on a wild goose chase. At the same time, the sales rep at the Best Buy in Modesto CA did not give us a confirmation receipt other than the regular receipt to which we had to wait longer at the new location once we have locate it. I felt like there was no commination at all from the Best Buy store to the warehouse. We waited an hour just to get our Stainless steel cooktop. Thank you

This is a huge upgrade from our prior Kitchenaid cooking range. Very nice, easy to clean. Great effective cooking spaces.

I’m afraid this is not the same quality as my first Viking. The paint immediately came off the grates along with the feet on the bottom of them. I have to continuously glue them back on. Very expensive for the product! Viking used to be top of the line. Very disappointing!

Excellent burners and flame control. Easy to clean, great to cook on, and like the continuous grates. To install, had to shave 1/8 inch from existing cutout (which perfectly fit previous cooktop) and replace existing gas valve to the correct size. Highly recommend this cooktop.

We did a lot a research and went to look at multiple cooktops including GE profile, Bosch, Wolf... while Viking may be a bit more pricey than some brands, it is worth every penny. Quality of stainless, eyes, grates and mobs is above the competition. This unit not only looks great, it cooks like a commercial cooktop. Great control of heat, and max heat is awesome. Like the eye choices, but wish the large eye was in the back.... only complaint. The location of the knobs on the side are not only convenient and and safe, but keep the knobs out of the way of spills and splatter. Spend the few extra $$ as we feel this unit will last few 20 years, like our last Viking in our previous home.

We had to wait quite a while to get this product (over four months), but it was worth the wait. Your guys came in on time, cut the granite with no problem and your installer was a real pro. He went beyond expectations, even fixing some duct work in the basement vent system.

This is my first experience with a 6 burner cooktop. It does take time to get used to the burner locations and knobs but once the learning curve is over, it becomes second nature. The various burner sizes give you options from very small to large so you can cook a number of things at one time. It's great for entertaining. One thing I am adjusting too is the flame choices. The simmer has a number of choices; however, I cannot find one that only keeps food warm.

Great cooktop with high temperatures for cooking. Only issue is the changing color of the burner

Very high quality commercial grade. We are a family of 6 so this cooktop gets used heavily and has performed incredibly.

I’m in love. I love to cook and have used a 5 burner GE for the last 15 years. Viking is the way to go. It’s pricey but to me worth the cost. Looks great when not in use.

The quality you would expect from Viking! I replaced an old 30" with this, we love having 6 burners. There is plenty of room for large pots.
