Product has very short range. Does not even work from inside the Best Buy store. So I would recommend going for higher range model in viper. As it does not even work from the range they claims i.e. 1500 ft. Pretty much the range makes it useless for remote start.

Works great, great install, well worth the $$ especially if you live in a climate where you want that extra comfort

Bought this item but returned, pricey installation.

Truck will crank for only two seconds and will not start every time. How can i make it crank for five seconds?

Did not work as advertised o the 2016 Nissan Rogue. Had to have it removed and returned

Product may be great but the tech could never get it to work on our car.

I did a little research on the Viper 4105 VB but wish I'd done more regarding the installation. It works fine except for a few things. 1. The Aux button on the Viper key fob does not operate the panic button on the alarm (this worked on the OEM key fob). This is helpful for locating my car in parking lots or garages. I forgot to ask the tech if the Viper fob supported this function. Unless this can be corrected I'll have to carry the OEM key fob too. 2. When locking the vehicle the horn no longer sounds if I press the button twice. This worked on the OEM key fob to verify the doors are locked. 3. The range on the Viper key fob is shorter than the OEM key fob. I'm going back to ask about items 1 and 2. If they can't resolve item 1 I may have the unit uninstalled and return it.

It is nice to be able to start the car and let it warm up before having to brave the cold.

I had bought a previous remote start from Best Buy before for my wife's car so she could start the car from inside the house and get the heater going in the morning... after seeing the convenience and practicality of having it, I bought this one when it went on sale for my car. Works great... I love it when I get to my car and it's already running and the AC or heater is going. Highly recommend it.

I purchased the 4105 for my 2014 2500 Ram Truck. This is a base model work truck and it did not have keyless entry. So after a week of using my key, I got this keyless system installed on the truck. The remote start is a added feature that I really enjoy and use a lot out here in Arizona. I also added a pair of window modules to the unit and can roll down/up windows. This is a basic system, but it is very good in features and add ons for the price. The only thing bad is it's a 1 way, so you get no confirmation your vehicle has started, but for me, my truck us usally in sight, so I can look at it and watch the parking lights flash when it starts. Best Buy installed did a great job. Can't tell it is installed looking up under the dash.

I purchased and had installed at Frisco Tx store on Preston Rd. Could not have asked for better product or install- Jeff did a great job. Would defiantly reccomend!!

Sometimes delay in locking/ unlocking vehicle. Also, horn no longer beeps on lock like the factory lock. Other than these thing it works as expected.

I purchased this with the additional Geek Squad installation ($200) that was recommend and verified with them that I had all the parts needed for it to be installed. This was my husbands birthday gift. When my husband arrived, he was told that he would need to purchase an additional $100 part for it to be installed. When he came to pick up his truck they said that they were unable to make it honk when the car was locked and alarmed like the original security system did. The old factory remote worked better than this one does and it gives you verification that your car is locked. It wasn't worth the hassle or cost to purchase and install this product.

To be fair, this product is likely fine. My issue is with BestBuy.com and GeekSquad. Long story short, I ended up returning the product due to installation and service issues with Geek Squad. My recommendation, if you want to buy from Best Buy, go to an actual service center and talk to the installer before you purchase anything. Make sure you have confidence in the installer and that they provide all costs for your specific car before purchasing anything. I ended up getting a remote starter installed at a small family-owned car electronics shop that is literally in the shadow of the Best Buy HQ. It was a world of difference in terms of service, and the all-in cost was $200 less than Best Buy for the same features.

This product works well and performs as desired in a toyota corolla

It looks nice in the box. I gave them to 2 relatives for Christmas. Called on 1/4 and was told that I had to call back on TH 1/7 to speak to a certain person because he works part time. Called today and was told the next available appt was 2/4. Called a store in bigger city 50 miles away and they can't install until after 1/25. Why did I buy this? I needed it for winter weather. May return them both and consider buying next year and making appointment sooner-- or finding another retailer that can do it all. Recommend that BB insert a caution next to item description that it may be a month wait to install.

Numerous attempts were made to fix it, but it still does not work. We could be standing right next to the vehicle and it still does not remote start.
