Functions just as I thought it would. I was super glad to have remote access to my door locks again! Only thing I would improve on is the feel of the remote buttons. One long smooth flat surface with no way to differentiate the buttons by touch.

It took 3 trips to the store and 2 different appts to get my alarm system installed else i would have rated it 5 stars. I started to give it 3 but once installed the installer was very courteous and went above and beyond so i added a star. The alarm is great. Exactly what i wanted and i am completely happy with it. The installer set up the remote to pop the trunk and did some othwr features since my car is a manual and auto start is not an option. The reason i was going to rate this install a 3 at first was due to a lack of knowledge from the best buy employees. I was told i could drop my car off when the shop was closed. The first installer never installed an alarm. The first alarm was missing pieces. I had to reschedule and come back 2 more times to get this installed. Overall im happy. The remote is sensitive. I have set the alarm off with just the keys in hand. Still its a very nice alarm system. Horn and lights flash as well as alarm sounds when activated.

Great item for my car since I got the luminous bar pioneer. This security has saved it from getting stolen

My installer Ben, was awesome! He knew my old 97 4runner very well, and everything it took to get the viper alarm installed. Even came back for a programming issue, and he was able to figure it out in less than 5 minutes! Seemless install, with no wires seen! It's been a perfectly operating system since day 1! Would highly recommend!

GREAT PRICE FOR VALUE OF SECURITY INSTALLER WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL NICE CLEAN JOB

Purchased a used vehicle that didn't have a keyless entry so wanted to get this mainly for that purpose. The alarm is an added bonus. So far so good, works as it should. I can unlock and lock my vehicle from a pretty long distance. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that that the remotes I received don't match the remotes in the picture from the ad. I've attached a pic of my remote. I checked the model number and it's the same as in the ad. I'm not sure if I received an older model or if BB hasn't updated their picture. I liked the remote I received tho because it looks slimmer than the one on the ad so just decided to keep it. Either way some people might want the remote from the ad and might not be happy with getting a different looking remote.

Works great, had another alarm that was causing issue with the kill switch and this fixed it. The instillation gut was great. Great deal for the cost. (Did not go with the Auto Start on this one).

The Viper alarm works very good. I’m very impressed with that. I’m going to tell my friends about it so they can go to Best Buy to buy alarms too for their cars

I drive a 1951 Chevy Silverado that had no security. Now it does. Great system the viper.

Viper Alarms has been around for a very very long time. Works great on my wife's car. Her did not have the keyless entry from the dealership. They didnt make it for that year/model. Decided to go with a Viper Sec Keyless Entry. Best decision made. Great product for the money. Best Buy Geek Squad Installers did a wonderful job on the installation. Truly recommend this product to anyone who needs a keyless entry system together with a very loud alarm that can wake up the neighborhood.

Reasonably priced vehicle alarm system. Easily installed by Best Buy installation employees. I was able to save $100 because I am a member of Total Tech (Geek Squad). The alarm is very loud and is easy to use. I like that it comes with key fobs to activate the alarm system. This vehicle alarm system is highly recommended. I installed this on my truck because trucks are unfortunately often the target of thieves.

I bought an older car that had power locks but I did not have a remote to control them. I bought OEM remotes but could not get them to connect to the car. I decided to instead look into aftermarket remotes and alarm from best buy. The price of the alarm included installation which was a complete surprise for me. The low price to add both an alarm and keyless entry was great. Now not only do I have keyless entry but I also have an alarm system. This is much better than any stock alarm system. The siren is extremely loud and would definitely create attention if someone was trying to break into my car. The alarm also has many sensors so if someone breaks a window, even touches the car hard enough it will set off the alarm. One option that was a complete surprise is that When I get in my car and put into drive my doors lock and when I turn the car off the doors unlock. This is something simple and more of a convivence feature but I like it a lot. Anyone looking to add keyless entry or an alarm to there car I would highly recommend looking into this alarm.

I am driving a 2006 Mazda Tribute because of the pandemic. lol Long story, but paid for an liability insurance only makes for a decent ride when you are unemployed. OK, when you are a woman and it takes time to find your key and put it in the door you are less safe. This takes that away. Keyless entry! nice. The little sound when I push the button cracks me up because it seems like it should be on a nicer car, but I know it is working. Another plus was when I wanted to put groceries in the back, I HAD to go to the drivers door to unlock the entire car but now I just push the clicker. Nice. Not leaving my stuff back behind me while I search for my key. Overall installation at the Riverside, Ca. location was a terrible pain in the butt. First they canceled my appointment. Then they sent me an email saying I MISSED IT. Then he worked to sneak me in to get it done asap and he accidentally gave my keys to another customer before me, leaving us to wait when it was 100 degrees. But nice guy and mistakes happen. Overall it is done. I hope it was worth what I paid. I think it was. I am happy I got a daily deal on it and that installation was included in the price. Also he says it has a lifetime warranty as long as I am the owner of the vehicle. Thats pretty awesome

I purchase this after my 03 F-250 was broken into. The alarm works perfectly, and for its price, there's really nothing for me to complain about, and if down the line I want more features like the the more expensive versions, this system is expandable. I also recommend having the techs at Bestbuy install it for you. They made the entire process easy and the gentleman that scheduled my appointment got me in quickly to help ease my anxiety of having my truck broken into again or worse stolen. 10/10
