I purchased the remote start system as a Christmas present for my wife, and although I'm familiar with automotive electronics, decided to have the Geek Squad install it both because they have the experience to do the job quickly and neatly, and because the remote starter ties into multiple vehicle systems. The results exceeded my expectations: the Viper remote start system works like factory original (or better) with excellent range and great security. Just as important, everything looks like factory original - almost all of the system is invisible, with the wiring neatly cabled and properly secured (I got under the dash and checked), and the only visible component, the antenna, is tucked almost invisibly above the rear-view mirror, matching both the color and layout of the mirror mount, with the wiring perfectly hidden behind the headliner. The Viper system comes with one remote; I had a second installed, which was programmed to the system at no additional charge. My wife absolutely loves both the convenience and the appearance, and looks forward to getting into a warmed and running car during the upcoming Michigan winter. I am equally pleased; in addition to my wife's reasons, I'm very happy that my gift to her was so well done and greatly appreciated. Thank you Viper, and thank you Tripp and Holland Best Buy!

Great starter for the price. I'm glad it came with the installation. Wouldn't recommend it for a 2011 Chevy Equinox. My car kept fighting with the geek squad tech which caused the installation to go from 3 hours to 5 hours not to mention some parts were dead on arrival. Overall I would buy one again. It does help the car I think run better, the ac is cooler just getting it started up a few seconds earlier.

I live in Michigan & winters can get really cold .I park in a lot for work. When I get on the shuttle for the parking lot. I press the start button, and start my car. By the time I get there my car is its nice and warm for me. The starter works every time.I have no issue with it. installation took 3 hours plan on dropping off car . check to see if your car keys are compatible before you buy. may need the buy extra for your door locks. Best Xmas present I ever got. Highly recommend it .for winter and summer months.

This is an inexpensive remote starter installed in a 16 yr old truck. Works like a charm. I was told by tech it wouldn't unlock doors just start truck no frills. To my surprise he was wrong! He did a great install. After reading info that came with it the simple remote does additional things including unlocking doors. This was there most inexpensive model just under $250. Works great. I do remember when they were $99 lol. Worth the money install does take 1/2 day but worth it to be warm this winter with this being 1st year outside instead of garage!

I was able to get a good deal on this package, which also included the extra parts I would need as well as installation, and it was exactly what I needed! I just wanted to be able to start my car from my apartment - I was used to a house with a garage, and this is my first full winter living the apartment life, and I knew this was going to be a necessity! I do wish it came with an extra remote, just because now I am so scared to lose the only one I've got. But other than that, no complaints!

The control for my door locks was lost and the dealer wanted $250 to replace it. Instead, I got a remote car starter, auto door locks w/2 controllers, and a security system. And the cost was a little over $300. Installation included!!! Every employee, I talked to was extremely polite and knowledgeable. Am I happy? I'm thrilled and delighted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend that anyone reading this to download the bestbuy app and check the "deal of the day" everyday.

The device not only allows me to remotely start the car and allow the engine top warm up, it also electronically unlocks the door by pressing the button. The sales and installation staff were easy to work with and the installer did an awesome job. I am very pleased with the transaction. This is the second car I had Best Buy modify with a remote starter. They beat the prices of their competitors and are tops in the installation department.

Great product for the price I paid. My truck is nice and warm when I get in it. The only drawback is that it doesn't allow me to shut the truck off remotely. It does have an automatic shutoff timer but if my plans change and I don't need to leave, I have to go manually shut my vehicle off. Great base model product.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, and she loves it. I purchased it with the installation included. The scheduling of the installation was easy, and the appointment was made for less than two weeks out. The installation went smoothly, and the remote starter works well. My daughter and I are both very happy with it, and the price was outstanding.

The Viper Remote Start system works great. My truck starts up quickly and is warm when I'm ready to go. The anti theft safety feature means I don't have to worry about my car running in the driveway before I leave for work. I can start my car in the evening from my office and it is warm by the time I'm ready to go. Excellent value for the money.

This is a great option for a 1 way starter. I would probably refer my friends to the 2 way start just because I don't always have a view of my car when I use this, and the only way to know your car has started is to actually be looking at it. But this of course I knew when buying this product.

Bought the auto start about a month ago, right when the cold weather was starting. I love being able to safely start my truck from inside the house and let it warm up before heading to work. It works as advertised and I have had no issues with the range of the remote or being inside to use it.

Good range, 1-way remote starter. Install was quick and easy to schedule/get done. One small rattle under the dash with bumps in the road after install though... something must be loose.

The range of this starter is great! Even if in a room far away from my car it still works. Only negative is you can't use keyless entry once you've used the remote starter, you have to key into the vehicle- minor inconvenience.

Fiance loves her remote start. Hits the button and she comes out to a warmed up car ready to go. No more waiting for her vehicle to warm up and wasting 5 to 10 minutes a day. That time can really add up! Great experience with installment to. Best Buy was very helpful and informative. Thanks!

I loved my car starter so much I bought this one as a gift for my dad. The starter works very nice, and is very convenient on cold days. I don't have keyless entry with my car, so it was great to finally be able to unlock the car with the starter button before getting to the car.

I haven't had the remote starter for very long, but the price was very good and included installation. The scheduling of the installation was simple, and the actual installation went well and took around three hours. The remote starter has worked very well so far!

I gave this Remote Start System to my wife for her Birthday. The Geek Squad installation was great, fast and friendly. The system itself performs fine. Makes getting into the car pleasant in any weather. We highly recommend it and the Geek Squad installation.

This remote starter was exactly what I wanted. It's easy to use, and works without any problems. I originally wanted a more expensive model, but the helpful Geek Squad staff lead me to this one. I added the app, and now I can start my car from anywhere.
