My old phone was giving out on me. I got this phone to replace it and it is by far the best one yet. The camera on it is great. It is easy to use and the design and layout of the phone is great. Its also a bonus that it is water resistant.

I've never been one for expensive phones. All my life I've settled for decent phones that would allow for calls and texts and minimal web use. But lately I was wanting to indulge and buy a high performance phone. I knew my two options would be an iphone or a galaxy. With the release of the S8 and all it's amazing consumer reviews, I knew I'd be going in that direction. So I recently bought the S8, and let me say I DO NOT regret it!! This phone is phenomenal!!! The curved edge display is lovely. The screen resolution is BEYOND! I have no problems with storage or battery life. Once my phone is charged, the battery can last me all day (and that's with me constantly online and texting). The camera quality (both front and rear) is AMAZING, super crisp and hd. I think the only thing that I would change is the fingerprint sensor; it's located right next to the camera lens so if you're not careful you can smudge the lens when trying to unlock your phone with the sensor. But other than that this phone has been beyond satisfactory :)

I am quite happy with this purchase. Honestly, I was a little worried about the reports of how fragile the S8 is but I have yet to damage it (knock on wood). This is my first OLED phone and the brightness and vividness of the screen is a huge improvement over LCD. Samsung Pay is great is WAY better than Apple Pay, in that MST technology allows you to use the phone with any magnetic terminal and can still use NFC for terminals that are set up for it. I've tried it out several times and works great at different retailers. Its quite fast in day to day stuff. I'm not much of a gamer so haven't tested that yet. There are several new features such as VR (Daydream) and Dex docking that I probably will never use but nice to have that option. Bottom line, I would recommend it.

Samsung really hit the mark with this one. The phone is fast, powerful, the camera is phenomenal, and the 64gb of onboard storage plus compatibility with up to 256gb micro SD cards is a great bonus

I love this phone already! I'm going from an S5 to the S8. So for me the changes are the best, it may not be as much of a wow for those that had the S7, I think. The quality of the camera is great and the battery life is amazing. This may not be a plus but I really can go a whole day (from 6 am to 12am) and still have some battery left. Bixby is cool but not a major interest. Samsung's smartswitch transferred literally everything from my old phone (even web pages/tabs I still had open), so that was a huge relief. And getting a great phone and paying the same amount a month is great, would recommend 100%. I wished virgin mobile offered the different colors, but there's no way you can use this without a case, so it becomes a non issue.

I haven't had the phone long but it was easy to set up and runs fast so I can do multiple tasks at once.

The phone is absolutely gorgeous, and runs smoothly. Activation on my pre-existing VM account was smooth, and Samsung has SmartSwitch with which everything moved over from my S5 without a hitch. The curved edges took a bit to get used to, but I now quite like them. There are reviews left and right singing the praises of this phone, and I think they're spot on. The supposed downside like the placement of the fingerprint reader are minimal (and if you put on a case you'll essentially have a guide to the reader anyway). With the Gear for virtual reality you can't go wrong, either. As long as you don't have to wait and wait some more for the phone to ship, this thing is beautiful, and works great along with $35/month on VM. I thought about waiting for holiday sales on this and I'm honestly glad I didn't.

I upgraded from a galaxy s5 and haven't regretted it. I was hestistant with shelling out the money for the upgrade after only about 3 years with my previous phone, but fell in love with the s8. The screen is amazing. The battery life is way superior over the s5. And the experience is super smooth. I read mixed reviews about the finger scanner placement, but it feels pretty natural on the s8 for my index finger. If you are the market for a new phone on virgin mobile, the s8 is the way to go if are an android user.

Phone is easy to use, takes awesome pictures. Still learning about the phone as there are so many features. Love it.

Wife and I had the S7 which we gave to our children and we bought the S8. Wow!!! The phone went on a diet and is slimmer which my wife loves because it fits in her hand better. I love the edge to edge screen, that makes a difference especially when you go widescreen. The camera is the absolute best feature about the S8!!! The images are high definition. You also get New sounds for ring tones. I love the jungle Congo sounds. Last phone I'll need for the next 8 years.

I bought this for my son and he said it is much better than the the S5 he had. He said the picture quality on the camera is awesome compared to the S5.

This phone is awesome! I upgraded from the s5 the 64gb of memory is great. The price is a really good deal. Virgin mobile website still has it for $649.99 so getting for $499.99 Is really great. Only tiny flaw is finding a case and screen protector. Tempered glass is not recommended because it will mess with screen inaccuracy. I got a screen protector that is film and works great. There's a lot of cases out there but they will make your phone so bulky. The camera is on FLEEK!

I like everything about this phone and can't think of one complaint.

It was a little complicated at first with the two finger prompts but once I got the hang of it I love this phone

I had the S5 previously to getting the S8, and this new version is a marked improvement in every way!! Battery is much more efficient, display is beautiful, and I love how sleek it is! I bought an Urban Armour Gear plasma case, which protects it perfectly without adding any bulk. I highly recommend this phone!

Definitely the best smartphone I've used. It definitely stands out from the rest and I get many compliments on photos and videos from the S8. It is very quick and responsive.

I have had this phone since 2018 and it still works wonderfully, the camera is great, applications load fast, tons of space, and very durable!

Works great, love the fingerprint sensor, just download an app to disable the Bixby button. Great battery life, very fast, super nice looking screen.
