I haven't had any problems with my phone like some have described. I like the larger size to be honest. Fits better in my back pocket when I choose not to take a purse. I like it.

I bought this phone because my other phone kept freezing for some reason... I like the ease of this ZTE phone.. I like the size of it.... I just wish the volume was louder..

Needed a new phone. Wanted a bigger screen. This fits both my needs.

The phone was on sale for $70 when I bought it. The size of the screen and the internal specs bring together a definite buy for any Virgin Mobile customers.

My only complaint is that the charge port is usb-c instead of micro-usb, so most of the cords laying around my house are now useless to me. Otherwise, great phone.

The ZTE XL is a great phone. The camara take really good pics. The sound when making calls and listening to music. The sound is clear. I love my new fone.

The phone and service are impeccable. The screen size is just right bad very clear. Not to small, but just right.

I have mixed feeling about the zte max xl-bolton! This phone does not come with a users manual its seems to have a mind of its own . When i download different play store app the phone alwas goes dack to useing the stock app. The screen sz is wonderful! All in all im just not sure about the zte max xl

The huge screen size is what made me buy this phone, I am always playing games on my phone and the screen size was what made me buy this phone.

I'm going to break down the review and two 3 parts start off I'm going to review the design of the phone the buttons on the screen are very highly responsive in the screen itself is large and is enjoyable to watch videos and play video games on on the back we have the fingerprint scanner that is highly responsive and one touch of your finger instantly unlock your phone. On the side we have the volume button and power button that's also highly responsive and tactile like so for Desgin in my opinion is 10/10 for performance I rate it 8/10 for pros on this part this phone is highly responsive and rarely lags when having multiple applications open it's also really good on battery I can go for a full day from 9 a.m. to 11 at night and still have around 50 to 61% with normal use throughout the day this device also offers Quick Charge which is fantastic to have for when you're on-the-go and you need a quick juice before you leave. So downfalls the storage is not high on this device and offers little Ram I think it offers around 8 gigabytes Icorrect me if I'm wrong I am currently using the device as we speak looking to get a new one and I have reached my max space limit with only a few apps installed. Going back to the ram iusse this also prevents the Snapchat filters to respond correctly and lowers loading time for loading the Snapchat filters so performance is affected there and if a video game or an application requires a lot of CPU or RAM use there are delays and latency while using the app. My over all rateing is 9/10 for the price you are getting the phone and the performance and overall teaches his phone offers you're getting a pretty good deal for your buck is it a good med tir phone and its durability it's a lot better than the LG 3 Stylo.

Ive had the ZTE Max XL for Virgin Mobile for a few days but I'm super attached to this device. I originally had the LG X Power (same carrier) but I began having call quality issues and other performance issues so I took a chance on this phone and so far I have no regrets. Yes theres some minor issues that most people, like myself wont care about too much about unless youre one of those SUPER picky people. The cell signal isn't the strongest and I'm from a part of Enfield, CT where I have Best LTE coverage and the signal doesn't always stay strong but its whatever. The signal isn't too bad for me. Also the phone comes with 16GB of memory but out of the box it ONLY has 7.69GB to user and around 8GB or so for System Memory (that's a lot for system memory) But then again its 7.1.1 (latest android software). Yes you read that correct. Most people are used to around 9GB or so left over after 16GB but its fine for me I don't use a lot of apps. But some might say that's an issue for them The Max XL also has dual WiFi (2.4/5.0 GHZ bands) which is AWESOME. WiFi set up was a total breeze. The phone has an amazingly beautiful full HD 1080P 6 inch display. 1.4 Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor with 2GB of RAM (1.8 in reality its never the full amount). The phone runs very smooth. Not totally lag free but almost lag free. But there hasn't been any crashes or random shut offs or any major stuttering. A very well optimized phone in my opinion. I haven't stopped using the device. There is the 13MP rear cam with full HD video recording w/30FPS and a 5MP front cam also Full 1080P full HD wi/ 30fps. The video quality is very good if not excellent and some times you have to touch the screen to auto focus and other times the device auto focuses on its own. Just one of those things. The picture quality is amazing omg I love it. Such beautiful pictures. And yes there is the finger print sensor but I don't care to use it and I have no use for it. Some people might but I don't. The audio in the videos taken by the Max XL isn't the best. Not good for concerts. VERY distorted but fine for walking or taking simple videos. The speaker on the back isn't too bad. Not the best but its something. Just use headphones. Now theres an update or two when you get the phone. I don't know why but when I got the updates one was around 155MB when I first set up the phone and figure out the settings and stuff and first turned on the WiFi and the other around 143MB when set up and service was complete but I guess they fixed the YouTube going black after a few mins of watching. I haven't had any issues. As for call quality? I give that an easy 8 out of 10 because people said they could hear me clear as day with no issues and I could hear them perfect fine no distortion at all. With the LG X Power after a while they had trouble hearing me. This phone has a great screen and build quality. CPU is great for the value.

For the price, this is an outstanding phone. Does everything I need it to do.

Couldn't ask for more, it takes beautiful pics, I like the fingerprint lock phone, big screen 6" and for a good decent price.
