I was using my previous blender mainly to make smoothies with fresh and frozen fruit and veggies. And, I thought it was a good blender, but then I saw someone post on social media about the Vitamix blender and I looked into it. Well honestly the price made me an immediate skeptic due to how high it is. But 2 months later I looked into it again...and in my search I saw that Best Buy sold the blender. And, since I'm an accountant holder, I knew I could get it and utilize my 5% cash back or pay over time without interest benefit. So since I wanted to get more serious about my health, I decided to bite the bullet and purchase the Vitamix blender. I couldn't be MORE HAPPY that I did. #NONONEZILCHRegrets If you want great, smooth and well blended smoothies having this blender is a MUST...and go figure it makes soups and other great things too. :D #HighlySatisfiedCustomer Thanks Best Buy for carrying this item and helping me make the best choice to bettering my health. :) ~kc

Only downside is how loud it is. Everything else is just awesome. We use it everyday and it blends everything without a sweat.

Awesome product. This is used mostly for smoothies with various ingredients. Works extremely well. It's a little loud and very pricey, but you get what you pay for and it does its job exceptionally well.

A2500 Vitamix - Is one of the top Vitamix available currently and is great to use. In addition to the normal accent siries Vitamix it has smoothie, soup and frozen dessert mode added on which are helpful. This model is also compatible with food processor and aer disc container. Everything has been great except when doing larger loads I get an error E31 and some fumes starts coming off from the base, that makes your eyes teary.

After years of having an Oster blender I upgraded to a Vitamix 2500 because my old blender died from age and not being able to handle everything we’ve been throwing in. After a little research we decided to splurge and bought the Vitamix 2500 to make smoothies and juices because we heard so much about Vitamix blenders. Best Buy helped us right away and we were able to get a great deal on our blender by using our points from previous purchases which made the price easier to swallow. So far it’s been great, my kids love the smoothies and I love the green juices. It does take a little experimenting to figure out the best formula for blending, sometimes it’s a straight blend and sometimes I have to pulse a little before I blend but it chews up what you put in. My kids keep asking to make smoothies all the time, and I don’t mind since we’re using fruits, vegetables and plain yogurt to make them, which is so much better than what’s out there since we control what goes in. The downside are: the price, fruits and veggies can get expensive and depends on the season. It’s also kinda loud (which might be scary for little kids). We haven’t tried the other functions yet but making ice cream is on the menu! Although the price is a bit high, It’s a premium upgrade and a great machine, I’m glad I got it because of the family time and the kids getting involved with the preparing which is nice.

I purchased one a year ago and purchased this one for a friend because I was so satisfied with my own, I knew this was a great gift. I use mine about 4 times a week. I’ve used to to make soups and smoothies. It is very powerful so one can save time by cutting ingredients into simpler bigger chunks. Nothing slows it down. It’s easy to clean. Only negatives are that it is very loud running at top speed, but that is understandable with the power that it has, and also it is a bit expensive but worth the price.

This blender is amazing!!! I read the reviews before purchasing this blender, and they were all positive with the downside being that the blender was loud. Granted, the blender is louder than your average blender, but it's also more powerful. I've only been blending smoothies in it (almost daily) so I have yet to use all of it's features. My other blender (which was only a super low level Ninja blender) would leave all kinds of chunks in my smoothie because I put things like kale and oats in my smoothie, but those kinds of things are child's play for this blender. It's pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for!!!

I love this blender , It is so powerful and does wonders in my kitchen!! My family has burnt up many a food processor and blender. I was tired of replacing all the less expensive brands and bit the bullet and purchased this one, should have done it years ago . Vitamix is more expensive but think of all the money I would have saved if it was my first blend and not my last!! It is a bit noisy but worth the noise ,put a towel under it (helps a little)

This blender was bought primarily to see what all the hype was about regarding Vitamix. I had my Ninja Mega Kitchen for about 4 years and I was considering a different Vitamix at the time of that purchase but couldn't bring myself to drop the money. After using this machine for almost a month there is no going back! The quality of my blends is truly top notch now. I honestly never realized how much stuff WASN'T getting blended up until I started making smoothies. I am highly impressed with this machine and I recommend anyone thinking about taking the plunge just to jump in feet first. The one thing I will mention that I didn't "like" is that this comes with the 64oz low profile container and it is not great for single servings. I actually ended up buying the 48oz wet container as well ($156 after tax...) as I read the narrow containers are much better for single servings [no desire for the 20oz "smoothie cups" as I knew they would be WAY too small for what I make. This was an excellent purchase as I now have flexibility in the batch sizes I make, but I think the 48oz container is more useful and would have been better included. I can't say enough great things about this blender! All the stuff you read online about Vitamix is true. It's not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. My 1500W ninja single serve blade messed up after 1 year of consistent use. I can get A MINIMUM 3 years out of my 48oz container just with the warranty. That's piece of mind right there, and I hope people realize this is an investment. Good luck to everyone that gives this a chance, I don't think you'll be disappointed!

    Vitamix 2500 - Excellent!!!

After pondering & reviewing for a month, I went ahead and purchased the Vitamix A2500 2 days ago - love everything about it! So far have made ice cream and soup, texture is perfectly smooth. I was a little concerned when I made my first batch of soup, that it was not as hot (just warm with no steam) as the videos had demonstrated, but I soon learned that was because I used frozen peas instead of fresh. I blended it again on the preset soup setting and could feel the blender container getting hotter, when I took the lid off it was smoking! This particular "spicy basil pea soup" recipe made on the stovetop calls for the leeks and garlic to be sautéed first, then liquid and peas added, cooked 10 minutes then added to a blender, but I just put everything into the Vitamix raw to see what it would taste like. It was hot but it didn't have that cooked (or sautéed) taste I usually got from making it on the stovetop but that is not to take away from the Vitamix, as it is not supposed to roast or sautee (hence the absence of the sauteed taste), but it was still very good! I have seen some recipes where some vegetables were sautéed first, and now I know why. My dry container and 8-oz cups are out for delivery today, can't wait to grind up some wheat berries to make some bread!!!

Okay to get straight to the point, this blender is the king of blenders. I've been always on the fence dishing out a few hundred dollars for a blender. Years ago I bought a ninja blender and I was never happy with it. My shakes always had chunks and that blender made me stay away from blending. About a year ago I needed a blender to make protein pancakes and I got a nutrabullet. It worked out and wasn't that bad. Didn't really grind my oats but I lived with it. Recently I got a recipe for a protein ice cream and tried making it in my NB blender and it couldn't even crush the ice. After thinking about it I decided to give this one a try. I already knew it was great after seeing it in ever one of the bodybuilders/cooks I follow. Once I got it out the box I noticed how easy it is to get everything in without making a mess. I put it to the test with the ice cream recipe and omg it made it without any problems. I also love you can blend without the top which makes adding items so much easier!!! Clean up is way easier than any other blender due to it being so wide. You can get your hands in there and clean it. I LOVE this blender.

Very powerful blender. Amazing what it does to fruit skin like blueberry and apple, complete blend on seeds like Flax and chia too. That alone is amazing. I went for the ascent with some programs, I thought that feature would be more useful than it is. All ascent series can run full array of programs from app. All blenders have the same power, ability to make “ice cream” And hot soup. The blender is so loud though I don’t know if I would ever let it run for 8-10 minutes instead of putting it on the stove. The capacity is great. Love learning more And more what I can do w this amazing tool. Went for ascent to future proof. Knowing the programs aren’t as useful, would maybe consider explorian, though I do like the 64 oz capacity of ascent. If I was recommending for my parents, would tell them to go for exploring. Also haven’t tried any accessories yet specific to ascent. Made in America and long warranty major selling points for Vitamx.

Quite an Upgrade for the Daily Smoothie-maker

I recently started having smoothies for breakfast and/or lunch daily, and in my smoothies, I use frozen fruit including hefty chunks of mango. My 10 ish year old Cuisinart blender suddenly started overheating. The day it started smoking pushed me to quickly start researching new blenders. Taking the heavy use into account, I opted to search for more commercial-grade style blenders. I was well aware of the Vitamix brand and reputation, and so I conducted a thorough comparison between Vitamix and several other brands/models on Best Buy’s website (love that feature btw). It got to the point where I had to make a decision, quick, so I could keep at my daily smoothie regimen. The Ascent 2500 was the winner, and the fact that it was available for same day pick up at my nearby store was an added bonus. I put the blender to use the very day I picked it up (after a thorough cleaning of course). My initial reaction was- WOW, what an upgrade! It was money well spent. The straightforward controls made for quick adaptation. One of the features that really drew me to this model was the “smoothie” setting. It takes all the guesswork out, and yields perfect consistent results every time. My only two gripes are: the machine is VERY loud at higher blending speeds. I live in a townhouse and I certainly wouldn’t dare to run the blender between the hours of 9 pm - 8 am out of respect for my neighbors (yes, it’s THAT loud). Luckily, I can easily work outside that time range. Also, from the very beginning, I followed the Vitamix smoothie recipe/instructions to a “T”. A few weeks in, with no change to ingredients/measurements, I noticed my smoothie required more liquid because everything was becoming to solid/(frozen?) to blend. Not sure if the machine had become weakened that soon after initial use, but to this day, my smoothies come out great..as long as I add more liquid than recommended. Other than that, I am completely pleased with my purchase.
