But it’s only comes with 3 speakers and the subwoofer so it should really be advertised as 3.1. You have the sound bar, subwoofer, and 2 rear speakers. Secondly, I’m not very technical when it comes to surround sound systems but I will say that I feel like the system will turn itself off when not in use for awhile. I bought it purposely to use it anytime my TV is on since it’s in such a large room. Lastly, which is probably mostly a tv/channel issue but the rear speakers only play noise (very quietly even when the sound is up very high) once in awhile and even in movies it’s not loud. Overall the soundbar sounds really good and that’s probably the biggest plus to the system.

Posted .Hello Joey, thank you for your review today. The sound bar Sb3651n-H6 absolutely has five audio channels and one subwoofer which does make it a 5.1 speaker set up. In the sound bar itself, there will be three speakers contained. Those three speakers will provide the front left and right audio along with a center speaker. It disconnects sporadically and you have to reset the device to get it back to working properly again. I have talked to Vizio Support and there is not firmware update for this device despite Vizio's response to another review of this device. Whenever Vizio support has me try something, it works, then an hour or two later it stops working again. Having to reset a device and reprogram it everytime you want to watch tv is not the way for a device to work.

However, for the past three weeks, I’ve had fun watching television and watching movies. The subwoofer makes me feel like I really am in the movie theatre. I ended up purchasing the protection plan for it as well because you never know with electronics. However, I’ve never had any problems with my electronic purchases through bestbuy. Thinking about purchasing again for my bedroom. I bought the stands for the rear speaker from Amazon for $30 as well. If I cut off the tv, the speakers and subwoofer auto off after a few minutes.

Having said that, the product worked just fine for 6 months. It now very randomly doesnt accept user input through the remote and stays on but unresponsive until I remove the power and plug it back in. Very promising but fails to deliver even a year of good experience.

Nice sound and bass for $179, cables included. Bluetooth synched right away to my Alexa. Getting sound from my TV was a little confusing as the T-Link CEC setting that need to be enabled was buried deeply in my TVs menus. That is not the speakers, fault however it did slow my installation down a little bit. Very satisfied so far
