My first Vizio and I’m happy with my purchase. Cord cutters TV for sure. OS is snappy unlike early versions I’ve read about. Streaming from apps, Hulu, Disney, Prime, all look great. I’m using the Bright picture setting, not the recommended Calibrated setting, with a few tweaks to my liking. If you’re a gamer, you can’t beat it for the price. That’s high compliments coming from a 2017 Sony X900 owner.
In a bedroom on my wall, this TV does not need a soundbar surprisingly. It gets loud, so check it out in the room it’ll be used for first.
My next purchase just might be the Vizio P-Series Quantum X 65 for the living room. But I’ll give this one more time to see if it holds up.

The picture quality and capabilities are impressive for a TV of this size for this price.
It replaced a 47" Vizio HD that finally failed after 9 years. A 55" would have been too large in the allotted space and this TV was a perfect choice.
I initially bought a Samsung 50" UHD but it would not connect with Peacock TV. The Vizio allows that connection and the Quantum Series picture is actually better than the basic Samsung UHD.
I learned NOT to have a TV of 50" or larger shipped. This one came via UPS and the box was heavily damaged and that lead to a frustrating replacement process.

I originally bought two brand new Samsung TVs but within a week, had to return both as it had a manufacturer defect. Vizio was just about to come out with their 2021 model and was happy I waited. I enjoy the features and the tv itself. Picture is great and so is the sound. Easy setup and I’m enjoying it now for over a month.

As I upgrade my TVs I've been choosing Vizio 4K TVs and sound bars, gone are the days of spending top dollar for TVs. Vizio definitely provides a good balance between value and price for the model.
Here my observations from my new M50Q7-H1
Pros:
- Substantial SmartCast interface speed improvement and response.
- I like the new remote layout, remote could have been designed with more solid feel.
Cons:
- Noticed immediately on my unit an intermittent thin line a the bottom of the screen. Not a refection as its typical a constant color close to the color of the picture. Hopefully this can be solved through firmware update as there is not an option to shift the screen. This happens with my Roku or SmartCast content.
Kudos to Vizio on the packaging, the plastic wrap with handles made for an easy setup.

So far, this tv has been great. Picture quality is top notch, switching between inputs is fast and easy, EArc is a great feature. Only issues I've had is getting used to the TV menu behaving like a separate input. It would be great if you could just seamlessly pull up the tv apps over whatever input you are currently watching. I also have a Yamaha receiver and had some issues with Arc clipping, but a restart mostly resolved that issue, now I just get s clipping sound even changing inputs.

I was shopping for a new TV for a better gaming experience and this so happened to be my first purchase of a 4K TV. For my bedroom I wanted another 50 inch TV. I did so much research and it was a hard decision between a Samsung, Hisense, LG, and The Vizio. The other TVs are a little cheaper than this one and I was tempted to go for the cheaper popular brand. I decided to just go for Vizio and I am very satisfied. First the quality fo the screen is amazing there are so many options to choose from to make the color experience to your liking. Playing games on it is simply brilliant. I am playing Ghost of Tsushima and my gosh the vividness and world in this game is breath taking on this screen. I thought this would be just for gaming, but there was so much content for shows I was impressed. A lot of free shows that helps with being stuck at home and the integration with Alexa and Google is a great addition. Not only that 4 HDMI ports and YES they all have 2.1 too along with the other HDMI standards. When I play a game it detects and turn on the pro gaming mode and also activates HDR10 without having to change settings. I just got this TV and I am still learning, but I must say this was a great decision to go with this choice. Also I didn't know this was a late model. All these additions for this price is worth it.

We bought this to replace an older 48" Vimeo whose speakers had started to go. The only difficulties have been that the picture needed a bit of manual calibration right out of the box (but looks good now that we figured it out) and it does not communicate with our Roku the same way as the old TV. The Roku remote only turns the TV off and on, but does not turn the actual Roku unit off and on like it did before (and yes we've tried resyncing, etc). Overall, though, happy with the purchase so far!

Wow! Had problems with the TCL 6 series and returned and bought the Vizio M series instead. Very pleased with the Vizio. Rich dark blacks, excellent colors and great detail for a hell of a price. Also pretty well equipped for gaming up to 4K 60fps or lower resolutions at 120 fps. Has Variable refresh rate which is hugely important for gaming as it eliminates screen tearing and makes things look buttery smooth.
Amazing value and quality at this price. Default image settings look pretty good in Dark Cinema mode. Required minimal tweaking to adjust it to perfection for me.
I’m using it to Play Xbox Series X in the bedroom.
HDR performance is pretty good and not eye torch bright which is perfect for our bedroom. I learned years ago that ya have to go easy with peak brightness in bedrooms or dark rooms. My wife has light colored eyes and those bright TVs give eye strain and headaches if not kept in check and toned down. I’m not a fan of the industry pushing TVs farther and farther up in peak brightness of 1000 + nits. It’s all just too much. I’m quite happy with 700 nits of peak brightness max.

First TV I've purchased in 9 years and am pleased with it. Picture quality for shows and movies is really good and playing on a PS4 looks crisp, especially when the HDR activates.
Only con I've had is needing an occasional soft restart when Watch Free, auto updates, or displaying my PS4 don't work properly. This has fixed it the 3 times I've needed to do it.

The picture quality of this tv is great for the price. Midrange tv quality for a price that’s closer to budget. Well worth getting over the budget TVs from bigger name brands. The first couple months with it, there are some buggy issues with the interface but over time with updates they were fixed.

Surprisingly good for so cheap. Hard to find TVs under 55” that are high quality and affordable, but this one is it!
Plays games really well. Don’t feel any lag in fighting games.

The image is great, generally works well with the exception of the built in apps fail to stream sometimes, resulting in having to do a whole process of unplugging and replugging the tv. This usually results in breaking the eARC connections, so those need reset too. A touch annoying, but if it is constantly an issue, it won’t be any worse than having to reset my laptop every so often for updates.

I was really hoping for the best, but it's been a little flawed. The remote is a bit sticky on some buttons. (guess that's what happens when you buy open-box.) The picture is great, after really getting into the settings and adjusting. A problem getting labels to stick after setting them. Next time I turn on the tv, it doesn't always stay to what I've set.

I've only had this TV for a few weeks, but I'm mostly happy with it. I haven't gotten to try the game mode on a PC, but it displays full colors with my switch, and its 1080p scaling is good from what I can tell. Vizio TV's are less user-friendly than Samsung, and I think they're more suited to technical users since there are few "automatic" setup features. The Vizio site doesn't have any support for their 2021 series online yet either so early adopters are on their own for the moment.
PROS:
*QHD TV at less than $500. I can't find a better price for the picture quality.
*Custom picture profiles with name and save function
*Smart home/internet of things compatible.
*Great response time on UI input and HDMI sources.
*Built-in speakers better than expected for a 2.0 configuration.
CONS (as of aug 30 2020)
*Only low-level bluetooth. Can't broadcast or receive audio via bluetooth without adapter.
*SmartCast and companion app are buggy and not customizable. Applies to all SmartCast products.
*AirPlay 2 doesn't like autoplay for some reason.
