Customers highly value the 50" Class M6 Series 4K QLED HDR Smart TV for its exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and user-friendly setup process. Many customers also appreciate its budget-friendly price point and its impressive sound quality, which enhances the overall entertainment experience. However, some customers have expressed concerns regarding screen issues, short lifespan, and durability, with reports of horizontal lines appearing on the screen and the TV breaking down after a relatively short period of time.

Out of the box, it seemed like a really great TV, beautiful picture. The set up is a little more complicated than it should be, not what I would consider user-friendly. The problem came two years in, when all of a sudden the entire screen starts pixelating and you get lines of color Then you go out on the Internet and find out that this is a pretty common problem with this TV. If you follow all of the suggestions and reset everything then sometimes you can get it to work again and sometimes it just kinda has to be off for a while and it will reset. Very annoying, I get that. It’s not a super expensive TV but that doesn’t mean it should have a shelflife of two years. I won’t purchase another Vizio TV based on how this one performed and the complete lack of customer support.

If I could give less than one star for both Vizio and Best Buy I would. The 1st TV I purchased was damaged and had to be returned. Now roughly a year and half later the TV is malfunctioning with horizontal lines appearing across the screen and the volume randomly increasing without me having done anything. I contacted Vizio for assistance, and am now in a back forth with them about receiving a refund with them denying the refund at this time stating that I was refunded (mind you the receipt clearly states it was exchanged. This is easily the worst purchase and service experience I have ever had.

I always bought cheaper brands but have had problems with the screens or back lights going out. I decided to spend a little more on a Vizio and got this one but I had screen issues after only 15 months. The screen started to have flashing lines pop up and then randomly freeze with lines all over it. Looks like its a common problem with this TV as a lot of the reviews I am seeing have the same problem. This one didnt even last as long as my TCL tv that I had before this.

I have been buying vizio tv's for a decade now and I never had any issues up until now. I bought this TV in Oct 2022, and i was pretty happy with it. Did it have the best picture and sound ?? no , but I bought it for the longevity. Unfortunately it seems like vizio got cheap with there materials recently. After a year it started to develop these horizontal lines . At first they were small an they would go away after a couple minutes, now they wont go away at all and I dont want to spend money fixing it . This will be the last Vizio tv I will ever buy

Decent picture and good features for the price. It broke after 6 months, Vizio is sending me a refurbished tv for a replacement. Was a good TV for my basement back bar and was happy with it until it broke.

It seamed like every Vizio I've had and love them all. Then after eleven months the color was screwed up. I would unplug it for a little while and once it came back it it would be better.
Then thirteen months it started with horizontal lines and has gotten worse and worse.
I had to buy a new TV!

I purchased this TV a few months ago and it has been great for gaming and streaming. It has tons of features that I use. The picture quality is amazing. However, when the TV is off or in idle or sleep or whatever, the tv makes a staticky humming noise. It will even make this noise when the tv is on too if there is no sound. I’m worried the speakers may be blown or something and I’ve never had the volume past 18 out of 100, which I typically have the tv volume set to 1 with a sound bar as the main audio anyways. Not to mention the tv sometimes does not come on even though you will power on with the remote and the light on front of the tv will come on but the screen does not turn on. It’s a shame because I really have enjoyed Vizio’s products in the past and would like to continue to buy them however this makes me unsure about my purchase.

Hello Lake, can you give us some additional details about the issue you are experiencing? If a sound bar is in use with the TV, it is possible that the humming might be coming from the sound bar, not the TV. But this is not typical so I would like to learn more so we can assist with troubleshooting. Please visit support.VIZIO.com and click on ‘Contact Us’. We’ve got agents ready to chat, text message, or speak with you on the phone.

Good but after a year the tv would randomly disconnect off of the internet and then some color lines would appear and would start glitching. I would recommend looking for more options since this one has some annoying problems.

Got up this morning and turned on our Vizio. The picture was scrambled, and no sound. Was referred to Vizio by the Geek Squad as it is still under the manufacturer’s warranty. We have only had this television for 7 months.
It has been a long process and my wife is trying to jump thru yet another hoop for repair or replacement. Originally they were saying it would be 7-10 business days for repair. Buying LG next time.
