A week before this TV was re-added to the Best Buy website, I settled for the LG NanoCell 90 Series and was unhappy with the full array local dimming and HDR performance. Finding this Vizio re-listed I quickly ordered for replacement of the LG. This Vizio offers more of features I am looking for that the LG, Samsung, or Sony models didn't offer. This model offers native 120 Hz, HDR10, HDR10+ (which the LG doesn't support at time of review), and Dolby Vision HDR. Includes support for VRR and can confirm support for 4K 120 w/ HDR on PS5 (which the outdated rtings review was unable to access on older firmware). The UI is not cluttered with ads seen on other TV OS's. The sheer brightness of this TV far outshines that of the LG. Another more thought out feature on this Vizio is support for eARC (and by extension, ARC) on an HDMI port other than one of the 2 that support 4K 120 Hz. This allows the user to take advantage of eARC/ARC while still maintaining use of the 2 120 Hz ports - something I can't say for the other major brands. Having never purchased a Vizio, and a bit weary of the quality of the unit, I can honestly recommend this to anyone in search of a high end 4K TV.

I adjusted a few picture settings, but "calibrated" and "calibrated dark" are good starting points. It supports chroma 4:4:4 from my Apple TV 4K, so the picture from the streaming box is excellent. However, that leads to my only criticism of the device: SmartCast is terrible, The user interface is clunky and you are limited to the preinstalled apps (no App Store). I knew this going in, and planned on using a streaming box with it, but I have to deduct a star due to the built in smart TV software limitations.

Can't fast forward or rewind quickly. Have to constantly tap foward or back on the remote, which only skips a few seconds. Roku TVs work flawlessly for this, so why can't Vizio with this expensive model? If you're good with computers you can stream to the TV with the preinstalled Plex app and the app on your computer. Also, there's no app store, so you're stuck with the useless junk apps.

I paired it with the vizio 5.1.2 sound bar setup.. and it is the perfect gaming combo!!! This tv is perfect!

The issue with this tv is audio dropping out of not working when you switch hdmi ports. It's a known issue with it. If you stay on one input, then you can't go wrong with your purchase.

Mate this TV with a Panasonic DP-UB820P-K, 4K disc player and your all set to enjoy 4k movies. plays other discs as well. This TV was the best TV at the CES for 2020. It would be pointless for me to do as others to show screen shots of the TV. It's a poor way to demonstrate the qualities of this TV. Don't take my word for it, go down to Best Buy and see this TV in real time. See it play. Then decide. This TV is not user friendly out of the Box, plug and play. No problem, Just go to ratings.com and obtain their calibration settings for this TV.

We don't recommended it
