A Very Good heater that can easily warm a whole room. Heater is nice and quite and no big noice at night. I think the price is at little higher side?? however the performance is good.

Using this space heater in our unfinished, unheated and previously pretty chilly basement. It effectively warms a 700 - 800 sq. ft area, even during a typically cold Ohio late fall and early winter., the area is actually comfortable. The downside is that our electric bill has almost doubled over this period of time last winter and over the previous month (about 1000 kwh.) So the cost to comfortably heat the basement for one month with this space heater is about $100. Recommend, but know the cost.

Love the thing but I wish it was not a finger print magnet with the stainless steel. Remote control needs improvement. It feels cheap and it sometimes does not work.

Si far so good , hate the the lights when sleeping I do cover the small LCD display with anything at night. Keep the room warm and have notice that this heater is always on but slows down when desired temperature has been reached, keep doing a very small noise for prolonged time. It shut down sometimes, I'll keep the settings at 70 to 71 and keeps this temperature pretty well.

Quiet but effective heating solution for a modest space.

Hesitant after some reviews, but I have always enjoyed items from Vornado. We have had the item for a year and no issues. We jave cleaned out the fan to make sure it doesn't get clogged up on the suction side where it pulls the air in. Maybe others dont do common sense maintenance and have issues.

It is able to heat a small sized room (10x10) very easily and with almost no noise. Aesthetically pleasing to look at. It can be kept switched on at night and will automatically switch off if the specified temperature has been reached, and turn back on if the temperature drops below that value. The external casing is always cool to touch, so there is no risk of burning your hand accidentally like some other heaters. If it falls over, the heater switches off automatically; so it can be operated on a carpeted surface without any risk of fire. You do pay a premium price though. If the aesthetics and quietness are key factors for you, it is worth the money. Cons : Sometimes, it heats to a slightly higher temperature (maybe 5F more) than the specified temperature.

This model does not have the auto shut off if it tips over. The remote isn't very responsive. It takes some time to get to your desired temp. Here is a scenario: I place the temp to 72 before I go night-night, then at 2am its 80 degrees and I am burning. It's temp regulation system could be better.

I would give this a 5-star rating except for two reasons; price and noise level. This unit is gorgeous, heats excellent and light weight for moving it around. I love the functionality. I wish it were a little more quiet and the $100 + price tag takes a bite out of you as well. It's not loud by any means . I clearly recommend this heater.

I have been buying Vornado products since they came out with a fan that blew a vortex that they sold through Sharper Image. And, I might not ever buy another Vornado product--not just because these space heaters are bad but because other of their space heaters are bad, too! This model being highly rated, I figured they'd be just the thing. I bought 2 initially. Neither had a good thermometer. Neither put out much heat. So instead of running one at a time, I ran both. Being as I didn't want them running all the time, I bought 2 more, so that I could have 2 on and two off and change it up. These were like the others (bad thermometer, low heat production). After a couple of months, 2 of the heaters started turning off even though the thermometers on them read relatively low temps. At this point, those two rarely heat anything and generally just blow air around (the fans work, it's just the heating elements that don't turn on.) The other two still work (poorly). My advice is to look elsewhere.

We saw this in-store and it was on sale. Tried it a few times before the weather warmed up and really liked it. It is extremely quiet when operating. The digital controls and remote are great!

I bought this for small room in my house and works great. very quiet and it turns on and off automatically by temp. sometimes i feel very hot with this unit.

This is a great looking product but not the best at what it says it supposed to do. You set it to a certain temperature and it goes way beyond it, it doesn't feel as hot as it says it's putting out and definitely didn't heat the whole room as it said it would.

At this price it better be perfect. It wasn't. Fan speed was a let down.

Works well and looks good. Temperature control seems a bit off though.

This is a great little device for heating small rooms!

Trying to heat a 400sqft room in our basement. I was amazed at how quite this was, but after letting it run for 4 hours, we had only raised the temp from 66 to 68. I returned to store for a less expensive heater that does the job well, although it is significantly louder

This heater is ideal for small spaces. It gives out lots of heat and it is not too noisy.

I use this heater on my closed in back porch to maintain a comfortable, constant temperature. Once I get the chill off using my Presto Heat Dish, I set the Vornado at 68 degrees and it keeps the porch very comfortable while I sit there with a cigar. I also find the remote control to be very convenient. I will definitely buy another if I ever have the need.
