Have had this phone for about 2 months.
I hung the base in the kitchen and then the other two units were put in the Living room and bedroom.
This was the main reason that I got them, to hang in kitchen and also the keypads are nice and its easy for older and young folks to use. Voice mail is a breeze to setup and use.
I never use speakerphone feature but it would of been nice to have.
Also the earpiece volume could of been a bit louder but still not bad at all.
Price- I got mine on special but overall I think the price could be a tad lower considering that it is not Digital but Analog frequency.
Overall great phone and really no weird issues to report.

bought this phone system for basic home use, haven't had many issues with this phone system. Sound is clear coming through handset, only problem we've had is talk button tends to stick and Caller ID takes awhile to generate the Caller ID information but i'm unsure if that's due to my phone carrier or the phone itself. I would recommend this phone system for the home.

I'm using this in a small office setting with 2 other folks and, for our needs, it works well. Easy to forward calls to the other managers...which is what we need most of all. It's not the most sophisticated phone and we're definitely looking into a more formal multi-line system...but as an interrim solution, it works ok. I guess I would recommend the phone -- depending on someone's needs. Again, if you need a sophisticated system, this is not the way to go.

This phone has good features but the range is terrible. Once I step outside about 20 feet from the base it will not connect and I get static when I am inside. I owned the Vtech 5850 and it worked nice, don't waste your money or time with this phone, it's not worth it.

This phone will not pick up anywhere in my house. It rings, but you cannot talk on it. The answering machine works good though. We are getting a new phone!!! This one's horrible!

I usually find Vtech phones to be reliable, this one is no exception.
I really haven't had any problems.
I just wished that when you stored numbers in the phone directory in one phone that the other would automatically store the number as well.

I am taking this phone back and returning it for a higher rated Panasonic today. You have to press the buttons on this phone "just right" and really firm otherwise it won't dial. There is constant static & echoing and changing the "channel" on the handset does not work. We had a cordless phone before this that was over 5 years old and worked a lot better than this one. I've never had a v-tech before and this phone makes me never want to get one again.

today is 1/20 and i bought this phone yesterday.
i am taking it back TODAY!
this is the worst phone you could possibly get.
i have had problems with V-tech though.
actually alot!
when you plug all three phones in its all fine and dandy.
but when you turn one phone on, it wont let you call out or let you answer the call.
its very poor, and has a lack of being "in range".
