Customers are enthusiastic about the sound quality, ease of use, and range of the Audio Baby Monitor (2-Unit). Many appreciate the two-way communication feature and the inclusion of a night light. While some users noted that the battery life could be improved, and a few mentioned volume and static as minor drawbacks, the overall feedback is positive. The monitor is also praised for its price and compact size.

These are so well thought out and perform perfectly. If the baby’s device shuts off the parent monitors beep constantly to let you know; so if the battery stops or it’s turned off, you know right away. The range is fantastic, carried the parent device next door and could still hear and respond to baby’s side! Having 2 parent monitors is also perfect for my use. It’s so simple to use, easy to set up, anyone can do it. I’m actually using this to monitor my elderly mom who uses the call button like when she was in the hospital, to call a nurse! But she loves that she can simply call out, and we can reply directly two way communication. I highly recommend this device, everything about it was been perfect for our needs.

These work great. Especially loved the paging and the 2-way talk features. I actually used them for my mother while I was taking care of her during her cancer treatments. I put her’s on the bed’s headboard using a command hook, where we were able to keep it plugged in at all times. She could easily reach it to page me if she needed/wanted something. The range was pretty good as we were on different floors of my home. I could go out in the yard or on my back deck and was still able to listen out for her. The monitor has different sensitivity settings which worked well.
I also liked the monitor clip. I could wear it on my shirt or pants if I was walking around. Also liked the battery charger display and warning so I knew when it needed to be plugged back in for charging.
It can get some static, but it was never bad. I don’t know any baby monitor that is 100% crystal clear at all times. I didn’t hear much cross interference. It would definitely screech if the monitors got too close together. I usually had the monitor clipped to me most of the time and would get feedback when quickly going into my mother’s room with it on me.
It has an out of range warning and it will actually tell you if it can’t find or not connecting to the other monitor.
I would give it 5 stars, but the instructions and how all the different settings work is a bit confusing at first. Other than that, it’s a great set and I would recommend this monitor. As I side note…… I also used it for my husband after he had his appendix taken out. He could page me if he was in pain or wanted a snack. The baby monitor worked great for this big baby! lol

We bought this when we brought my mother in law home from the hospital after surgery. She was on the upper floor and we were in the basement. This product did everything we wanted at a great price. It has volume control on the parent units which can be turned down low so as not to bother us with background noise during the night but we could still hear her if she got up and needed something. It can also be turned to silent but still able to hear her if she pushes the call button because that overrides the volume. It will beep at you until you turn it off. There is a talk back button also if you want to let them know you're coming. This would be great with a child because it may be all you need to do is talk to the child and they will go back to sleep. Great price for a great product. I am very satisfied with this monitor.

The audio quality that we get from this monitor is fantastic. It's so sensitive that it even picks up the dogs walking in and out of the nursery, which might be too much for some but with a newborn we're erring on the side of having too much information on her wellbeing as opposed to not enough. The range is great too. These were super inexpensive and can be paired with something like Google Home for a long-lasting monitoring solution and doesn't require you to buy into a crazy expensive baby product ecosystem that is irrelevant once your kid is more than 2 years old.

This is a small and clear sounding monitor. We use it to hear my elderly father when he needs help. It is easy to use and 2 hearing units are helpful. Great for the price. It is lightweight, comfortable, stays upright easily. Very portable. It is easy to see in the dark. Easy to adjust the sound for hearing. Picks up sound at a great distance.

Needed a home communication device in my 2 story house, works exceptionally well. My wife previously banged on the wall when she needed me and I had to run downstairs to see what she wanted. Now I have one parent device in my TV room & the other in my computer room & when she needs me she pushes the button on the baby monitor and tells me what she needs. The device provides two way communication so no need to run up & down the stairs at 67 years old.

My wife and I have a setup where we have a Nest Cam in our child's room for visual and the vtech for audio. The sensitivity setting is very nice. I sat at my desk downstairs from my child's room and it would activate only if he was making some kind of grunt/coo noise, so crying of any sort is definitely loud enough. We put the monitor underneath his crib and we run a fan for white noise. Unlike cheaper audio monitors we've used in the past I have heard no interference or other radio signals come through; the signal is also quite clean even with a fan making white noise in the background. Another nice touch is the walkie-talkie capability. I have used it to talk to my wife when she's upstairs feeding our son, for example. It's nice to have two parental units. We keep one in our room and one downstairs and with a battery you can go wireless for a time. I haven't tested how long the wireless truly lasts but volume is not an issue even in an non-open concept house...especially when he's making his presence known.

Decent product, great for the price. Works well and picks up other ambient noises in the room as well. Can defintely hear my baby cry. My only qualm with the product is I wish I could turn the volume up to a slightly higher level. Sometimes if you think you'd heard something you have to press your ear a bit closer. I would say its because I work in manufacturing and am a bit harder of hearing, but my wife who has the hearing of a hawk says the same thing. I see her on the couch with it sitting on her chest so she can hear it better.

This is the 2nd set of these monitors I've bought. NOT because the first ones died on me, but because I wanted the same ones for my 2nd child.
The ability to talk via the monitor means that as the kids have gotten a bit older - I can respond to them when they call / ask anything. We're talking a couple young kids / toddlers. So they're *definitely* talking / asking / needing response. Saves a trip up the stairs.
BONUS: The batteries eventually do lose longevity, but they're SUPER easy and inexpensive to replace. Then the new batteries will last you another couple years. We're going on 6+ years on our first set of these monitors. Only had to replace the batteries once so far!

My mom had knee surgey and this little guy was perfect so she could reach me on the other side of the house! not just for children but great for when you need to be attentive to people recovering or elderly.
I would recommend this to a friend

While these are designed for parents with young children, we purchased this to monitor an aging parent who shares our home. And, it works better than I expected.
It is sensitive enough to pick up a cough or the sound of a parent getting out of bed. The radio link reaches outside the house to give us a little more flexibility in our daily activities while still listening out for a parent in need.
I especially like the fact that the parent unit has an alert signal when it hears a sound from the infant unit above a threshold. This is a helpful feature when there is background noise.

They work great in our home. Can hear the baby clearly. Could even hear the cat when he snuck into the room while we were out. They have good range w/ no static or interferance in tranmission.

My wife and I were looking to get a set of baby monitors that were simple and easy to use. All we needed was the ability to hear our 2 year old anywhere in our house and when baby number 2 comes, be able to hear him. The monitor is placed in the nursery and I have one handset in the garage and the other handset is carried with my wife. The range on these is easily 100+ feet. The nice part is that we can talk back and forth as well. So we can actually use them as a walkie talkie. The only downfall I see, which i wont knock them on the review, is that you can add another monitor. I would like to have one monitor in the newborns room and a monitor in the toddlers room.

One of the best baby monitors by far! I used this for my last child and I just wish I had found this sooner for my other 2 kids. Its works great when your room is farther then the kids room day and night. I can even ease drop when the older ones are arguing and fighting. Plus you don't have to walk all the way to their room, just push the talk button and boom!

You have a child or baby on the way? Well you’re gonna need a baby monitor, and this one is definitely pretty good.
Adjustable volume, built in night light…ish. Super easy to use, and just what you expect when you get a baby monitor.

My wife and I have a different video monitor we've been using for several months now, but we've found it's too sensitive to noise. Our infant would make small sounds over the course of the night and then fall right back to sleep, but the other monitor would pick them up and wake my wife.
This audio-only monitor has ended up being a MUCH better solution. It always captures crying, but ignores much of the other random noises our infant might make throughout the night that doesn't indicate that she's awake or needs us.
The range is great (works with a parent unit in the basement and the child unit on the second floor). No issues in over a month of use now.
This has translated into much better sleep for my wife. Love this product!

If you’re like us and don’t want to hear every sound your kid makes, this is the baby monitor for you.
My wife and I enjoy our sleep but we obviously worry about our daughter throughout the night since our bedroom is on the opposite end of the house. We have a Nanit for video and audio but with our phones on sleep mode, notifications don’t make noise. This monitor is great because it makes no noise until your child makes a decently loud cry. We have our monitor on level 1 so she has to cry for several seconds before the low volume will wake us up.
Our daughter is a fantastic sleeper so we have a slight advantage but we’ve gotten her to that level by letting her cry it out several different times. She has learned to soothe herself and go back to sleep. She’s sleeps from around 7:45 pm to 7am. Anyways, I’d highly recommend this monitor but I would suggest having a video monitor as well so you can see your child.
