I had gifted this product to my father as a late Christmas present. When he used it the first time it was perfect. He liked that the product did leave him bald. But after using it on the second time the blade started to cut him. I didn't get no warranty I'm really disappointed that it didn't even last a month. I have never encountered products that got damaged right away. Now I have to throw away $57.32 to the trash. So maybe the product was damage or its actually sensitive that it damages right away. So maybe try to put warranty on products likes this. Here are some pictures of my dads head. You have to zoom in to look at the cuts. You can tell his skin is irritated.

I have been on this journey to find the best electric razor; I realize that this might be highly subjective. Everyone has different skin sensitivity, hair growth pattern, hair texture, etc. I have found a few that have seemed to work well, unfortunately this was not one of those.
A razor should do two things really well; easily trim down your chin whiskers and give your skin little to no irritation. The first time I used this shaver I had gone a couple of days without shaving, this is normal for me. I generally shave 2 to 3 times a week, as I don’t feel like my beard grows very quickly.
So, with 2 days' worth of growth on my face and neck, I attempted to use these. After finishing the first shave, the area under my chin and neck felt like I had a dozen paper cuts. There was no blood, but it felt like a bunch of tiny cuts all burning. The skin stayed red and irritated for a few minutes, but the pain persisted for most of that day. Most razors say that you might feel irritation on your first few shaves, so I knew that I needed to persist.
This is a good time to mention that I have been shaving exclusively with electric razors for the last 3 years, so I feel like my skin has already been accustomed to using these types of razors. I continued to use just this shaver for the next couple of weeks, which was a total of 6 shaves. While my neck and chin didn’t have the same intensity of cut feeling as the first, it was still uncomfortable. Another thing that I experienced is that sometimes it felt like the shaver was just yanking the hairs off. The hair pulling sensation happened often, even if I attempted to shave more frequently so the hairs did not have a chance to get too long.
Aside from that, the build quality of the razor seemed decent, the only exception here being that the pop-up trimmer didn’t really snap back down into place and would sometimes prevent the guard from snapping on. I also found it unusual that there was no light to show charging. The battery life seemed great; I went over a week without having to charge it.
Like I said at the beginning of this, comfort and closeness of a shave is subjective since everyone has a different face. I can only say that for my face, I don’t think this is the one for me. It might work great for someone else.

This Wahl shaver works greats on the face and leaves no bumps at all only if you keep the beard not too high. I used also to cut my hair since we are home-bound due to COVID-19, actually, it cleans well my necklines and leaves the area smooth. It has been two weeks since I used it and it stills operating which appears that the battery lasts long. My only wish that Wahl would have added a light battery indicator that shows the percentage or even level of the battery before the next charge other than that, it is great and does shave pretty well. I loved the fact that this shaver is made in the US.

This Razor is very strong, yet small enough to be easily portable. It cuts hair down to an extremely short length leaving behind a smooth face.
I unfortunately have extremely sensitive skin and suffer from facial razor bumps so I scrutinize shaving products as I must be very careful to avoid rash and bumps. Using this Wahl razor gave me a soft face but not so much a soft neck.
I had previous razor bumps on my neck that when shaved over created a rash that was painful. Overall, this is a great razor when used on flat surfaces, but difficult to use in the nooks and bends in the neck. Still, a pretty great razor that left me with a youthfully smooth face.
PROS
+ Powerfully demonstrates battery strength
+ Long-Hair Trimmer is convenient
+ Bag is convenient for easy storage
+ Rechargeable battery, great charge
+ Extremely close shave
CONS
-the Long-Hair Trimmer pull-out switch is difficult to activate
-Loud, but understandable give the power
-Unit is not rinsable, tricky removing head to clean
-Left neck rash on my sensitive skin
CONCLUSION
Despite the slight neck rash, the Wahl Bump-Free Rechargeable Foil Shaver clocks in as a Recommended Buy.

Great For Bald Heads

Since I am bald, I need a razor that excels at giving me a whole head shave. This style of razor does just that. I usually only shave my head 3 or 4 times a week, and with this razor I am easily able to shave my head and neck.
The rubberized grip makes it comfortable to hold and use. It shaves almost as close as a manual blade. This is important to me because I have stopped using a manual blade because I got tired of occasional cuts from them. This razor is also great for times when I am in a hurry and just need a quick clean up.
The pop up trimmer works well for creating clean lines at the edges of my beard.
The battery is rated to last for about 1 hour when fully charged. I have been using it 3-4 times a week and I didn’t have to recharge for about 3 weeks.
Included is a storage bag and cleaning accessories. I really like that it includes oil because that can make a difference in cutting performance if used.

Very Well Designed Electric Razor!

The Wahl Bump Free Electric Razor is the best electric razor that I have used. It is the first one of it’s kind that I have ever tried and it is much more aggressive and capable compared to the old 3 circle type with a flat head. I have been using it almost exclusively just because it is so much quicker and easier to use compared to using a razor and shaving cream. It gets everything off really well everywhere except for some spots under the jawline. For some reason, I have trouble getting a really close shave in spots in that area. It’s not too big of a deal just not quite as good as a razor with shaving cream. Maybe over time, I will figure out how to do better there I am not sure. I know they said something about giving yourself time to get used to it if you are switching in the instructions. I am not quite sure if that means my facial hair my ability with the tool or both. Regardless, I am very impressed with this razor it is very powerful and does a great job for an electric razor. I definitely think that the design of it is superior to others I have used and just out of pure convenience I have picked it up to shave every time I needed to since I acquired it. One time last week I used a razor with shaving cream after using this to get the hard to eliminate jawline hair and to see if it would shave any closer overall. With the exception of getting the jawline hairs, I did not notice my face being smoother anywhere else. Whether you are looking to switch over completely to an electric or just want to have another alternative for when you are in a rush the Wahl Bump Free Razor is a great choice that is equipped with a slide-up trimmer built into the back that also works well and is easy to use and access.

It's a basic shaver with line trimmer on back. No bells or whistles. Just the basics. not waterproof or wireless charging. Good beginners shaver to learn on and or travel shaver,
It comes with a travel bag and a few brushes to clean with. It works really well and doesn't pull while using. Overall I'd recommend it to others looking for their first shaver

Overall, my impression of the Wal Bump-Free foil shaver is relatively good.
The Good:
- Nice cleaning brush.
- Nice close, comfortable shave.
- Pop up trimmer works as expected.
- Instructions are easy to follow.
The Not-as-Good:
- Plastic feels very cheap and I worry about durability.
- No charging light.
- Protective cover does not fit/stay on consistently.
- Pop up trimmer can be a little tricky to seat correctly.
The Verdict:
This would be a great shaver to toss in an overnight bag or for light travel. It provides a comfortable shave in an easy-to-use format. I worry a little about the longevity of this shaver based on the plastic body, but have always had good luck with Wahl. I would recommend this product.

Reliable rechargable shaver

The Wahl Rechargable foil shaver is a reasonably priced product that works well. It has two foils that are smooth and hypoallergenic so they won’t irritate the skin. It says ‘bump free’ and that is accurate. I did not have any skin irritation or bumps at any point in shaving. The results are a pretty close shave, comparable to other shavers I’ve used. A manual razor gives a closer shave, but this does a good job. Because it’s rechargeable, you can use it without plugging it in, and get multiple uses before using the included power cord to recharge it again. It has a pretty good battery life. It fits well in my hand and is very easy to use. I tried it right out of the box, and it didn’t work nearly as well as after it was fully charged, so it’s noticeable when the battery life is low- you’ll want to recharge before it completely runs down. Fully charged and for a couple of uses after that, it works really well.
It’s a hassle-free product, just use the power button on front to turn on and off, and the button on the side for removing the cover to clean the blades and foils. To get the best shave, use both foils at an angle (they are not the same height) and don’t press hard or the foils could get damaged. I use foil shavers regularly as they are very easy to use and a quick way to shave. The user guide also gives some tips for getting a better shave, which is useful if you are new to this kind of shaver. It has some accessories for taking care of this product and a pouch to short it in. It’s not quiet but the sound and vibration are typical for shavers/razors. It also includes a 3 year warranty.
My only issue with this product was the pop-up trimmer. I like having this even though I don’t use it every time. I didn’t like the one on this shaver. I had some trouble pushing it up. The guide says it ‘telescopes up and away’ and it kind of does that. It is far enough from the foil part to use properly by itself for longer hair or detailing/shaping an area, such as a beard or mustache. It does work. I had difficulty getting it to go all the way up; it might loosen a little over time and be easier to push up and back down, but it was a little awkward to manage. It does click into place, preventing it from shifting while the shaver is on. On mine, it never goes completely flat again, the way it was before I used the trimmer. It could just be mine but it really seemed like it’s the way this part is designed. It only sticks up a small amount, 1mm or so; it bothered me that it wouldn’t quite go back in place. I have another shaver and that one never had these issues, so I will use the trimmer on that one instead. I do want the point out that the closeness of the shave was comparable, and the product works as advertised in the description on the website and on the box.
Overall it’s a very good shaver and I do recommend it, but the pop-up trimmer was a bit of a disappointment. I selected this product because it had that feature, and so this was an issue for me. If the trimmer is important to you, you might not like this one, or maybe it’ll work better for other users than it did for me. It feels like it’ll work well for a while. The main part, with the titanium foils work very well, and cleaning it is also easy. It has a 60 day money back guarantee, and a 3 year limited warranty. I’d say this is a 4 to 4.5 star product, reliable and convenient.

Good way to try out a foil shaver...

Favorably compares to a rotary, actually better for softer skin.
I have been using a rotary shaver for a few years and wanted to give this foil shaver a try to see how they compared. Several reviews have mentioned a “breaking in” period before they got a close and pull-free shave, and I think that’s normal any time you switch from blade shaving to an electric – whatever type you use. I had no issues with the foil shaver, and I think that is because my skin was already used to an electric. I must say that the foil head has much less hair-pulling and gives a slightly closer shave. This model is not built for wet shaving, so I was honestly surprised that a dry shave could get so close.
Please be advised that using this daily will minimize the hair pulling and provide the best shave. Both my rotary and this Wahl foil shaver do not like having to deal with 3 days of growth, so grab it and give a quick shave even on those days that you don’t particularly need to shave for appearances. The upside of this is you can grab the shaver and give yourself a quick going-over when going to the kitchen to make some coffee, having your morning constitutional, or out walking the dog. If you have not shaved for a few days, don’t expect a “pull free” experience – especially if you have sensitive skin.
The trimmer is OK but you need to take your time getting it seated properly. Not the most powerful for cutting barbed wire sideburns or ear hair but works OK for a touch-up.
Cleaning takes some practice, as with all devices. You want to take your time and be careful with the foil head until you get the hang of the cleaning. Popping it up and giving a good puff pretty much takes care of it - as long as you do that after each shave to keep from getting any buildup inside the head. The shaver is not made to get wet, so doing that little “daily puff” is important to keep the heads clean. There is an assortment of brushes for a good cleaning when needed and keep the little bottle of oil handy as the blades work much better (and quieter) if you put a drop of lubricant on every so often. There is a nice little case to keep everything together, so you don’t lose track of the cleaning brushes, foil tool, and the blade lubricant.
One last thing - OK guys I really need to tell you that if you get up before your partner and are going to shave while they are still in bed asleep – do not. Take the shaver and go to another room – it is a powerful little machine but doggone it does make some noise. There is a story behind this, but you probably don’t need me to tell it….
Overall, considering the price point I would say this is a good way to see how you and a foil shaver get along – particularly if you have sensitive skin. The 4 stars are not a criticism, as this is not the top-of-the-line shaver so there are some things missing that you will find on the more expensive models, like battery charge light, dry/wet shaving, quieter motor, and larger cutting heads. If you like the results and then want to make more of an investment – maybe then get the "5 Star" high-end foil shaver to keep at home for daily use and move this one to the car or office for use when you are “running late” or “working late” during the work week.
Stay safe!
