A fresh, interesting rebirth to the series.

By expanding on a lot of what the first game and its expansion got right and mixing action, stealth, and puzzle gameplay with handy remote-control drones, Watch Dogs 2 impresses with open mission designs with multiple ways to reach your objective and some great toys to find them with. I Loved the story and characters and I had a great time exploring its Bay Area map. This is a significant improvement over the original Watch Dogs in nearly every way.

It is simple and easy to adjust, but the tri-pod bottom seems a bit unstable.

This game is a masterpiece. Watch dogs 2 is highly underrated and I consider it to be one of the gaming greats. A story you get invested in, lovable characters, comedy, action, a surprisingly accurate depiction of San Francisco, decent graphics, advanced NPC interaction to the player and to each other and yet again highly underrated multiplayer modes. This game is quite extraordinary with realistic characters with real seeming emotions unlike other game characters.

Long game with good gameplay elements

Watchdogs 2 picks up after the advent of the first Watchdog game and drops you into San Francisco. They do a really good job with the game mechanics. Tightening the controls to be more fluid than the first game. The multiplayer elements to this game are nearly seamless and provide a change of pace to the complete missions grinding. My only complaint is the excessive amount of language used in this game. I have to be cautious when playing this around others who might be offended (or influenced) by the continual use of the "F-bomb". If this doesn't bother you and you enjoyed the first game, or you want an alternative to Grand Theft Auto, then its a good game. I have no other complaints, and its the only reason I did not award 5 stars.

Is this a game? Or games? There is so much content in this one disc it’s hard to cover it all. I typically like to complete games, but I don’t see the end coming anytime soon. So much ground to cover, in the best way possible. Great graphics, story, gameplay. I loved the original, but this puts it to shame. Simply because it doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Overall it's a fun game to play. I haven't had a chance to play multiplayer yet but the single player open world environment is cool enough. the running jumping and climbing reminds me off Assassins creed. I got it on sale and if you happen to find it on sale, I would go for it!

Overall the game feels like a watered down Grand theft Auto. But it offers a unique charm in terms of the game being centered around hacking. Most missions can be done with RC car/drone which makes most of the game very easy even on the realistic difficulty. The story is enjoyable and the characters have interesting personalities. Online is (mostly) stable and is nice to revisit on occasion. Replayability isn't high but over all I had a good time playing it.

This is the first time I’ve ever played watch dogs. I didn’t play the first one. But I knew the story of the game, and found it to be really fun!

Total change compared to the first

The most similar thing between 1 and 2 is they're both hackers, but that's about it. Where the first one was sorta dark with a lone man on a mission, the second one is bright and colorful in San Fran. Much time has passed since it's launch, and it's a good thing with the DLC and free stuff they added. Taking a non-lethal approach even on normal difficulty still proves pretty challenging, going in guns blazing is much easier, but sorta defeats the purpose of what DedSec set out to do. It would've gotten 5 stars from me, but the huge flaw with this game is audio balancing and extreme lack of customization in the settings. There's a master volume slider, aaand that's it. You can toggle other things on and off, but that's dumb, especially for a game in this day and age (2016 even). Leaving my tv on it's normal volume setting, gunfire is way too loud, voices are way too quiet, music is way too loud, and many little audio cues are way too quiet, easy to miss. Probably closer to 3.5 instead of 4, because that audio is a big problem.

Did you love Watchdogs 1? Did you enjoy GTA but wish it had more hacking and puzzles? Have you dreamed about rolling through San Francisco in a Lamborghini with your freshly 3d printed gat and a smartphone that works miracles? This open world game is tons of fun that will take you hours to finish.

Bought this on sale after reading mostly positive reviews and playing a bit of the demo on xbox. I was a bit hesitant, and didn't want a poor mans GTA knock-off, but honestly I have not regretted this purchase at all. Fun, bright open-world stealth/action game. It is similar in some ways to GTA, but seems to me to be a bit for focused. Ubisoft really knocked it out of the park with this one. Beautiful open-world San Francisco. Characters are interesting, if not a bit cliche (which they were obviously going for in a good, entertaining way). The developers have released some patches that have fixed a lot of the early issues. If you are looking for a fun, relatively easy to play third-person open world game that incorporates some interesting story-lines, get this title. There is a lot to do in this game, and the multi-player is hilarious and very entertaining at times. This game does not take itself too seriously, but is seriously a pretty decent game. Get it!
