This set comes with the midway gamer kid, the spy hunter car, and the arcade machine. As lots of people have stated the arcade machine allows you to access classic arcade games. Some games are little known games that are little known for a reason, but others are true classics and absolute gems! And my nephew loves using Gamer Kid, because he has multiple abilities including super speed.

This is a great add on if you love the classic video games. I think it is very cool that they added where you can play some of the classics.

I love the lego dimensions. Disappointed they are cancelling it. These should be going on sale a lot because of it.

Got this during the 50% off Lego dimensions levels/sale around Christmas 2016. Decent level and fun to play the retro arcade games within the level

The Midway Arcade Level Pack for Lego Dimensions is outstanding! Not only do you get another level to play in the overall story, but you get a TON of classic video games to play, most in their original, arcade format! The only difference might be background music, depending on what rights They were able to get.

To complete the game, you HAVE to buy this. Fortunately, Midway Kid provides a variety of useful different video game type powers (invincibility, speed, invisibility, etc.) that make him useful for the rest of the game. The only drawback is he can only use them one at a time. His level is a largely straightforward of mini-games comprised of former arcade favorites. (WARNING: One in particular is incredibly frustrating so prepare to be annoyed). You also get another car to use and an Arcade game which allows to access arcades all over Lego Dimensions.

I'm a large fan of Legos and Video Games and they've combined the fun beyond just playing the games where You also have to build the characters and their vehicles. This product in particular was especially cool because it featured an old school Midway arcade (which is a throw back) as well as the Spy Hunter vehicle (which is also retro). Any gamer can truly appreciate it. Only downside is they don't come with specifics instructions on how to build anything else besides the characters therefor I had to rely online tutorials to do so.

This level pack was a lot of fun to play a lot of the old games I grew up playing back in the 80s and 90s. A decent amount of content in this level pack and should keep you busy for a while. Pretty easy to complete all the Minifigure collection as long as you have a wide array of Lego Characters.

Along with the standard extra level and character unlocks you get with most packs... the expansion adds 23 classic Midway arcade games into Lego Dimensions that are unlocked as you discover them in the main game. But beyond that... how awesome is it to get an actual mini of the Spy Hunter car!

Littered throughout the game, you'll see arcade platforms. To "interact" with those platforms, you'll need the Arcade machine from this set. I don't want to spoil the fun for anyone who hasn't yet played through, but my recommendations to you is this - get this set, and get it early.

Talk about a trip down memory lane, I was taken back to my hay days when video games made their debut. My grandson was very challenged with the old video game puzzles and would pass the controller over to me saying "I can't do old school". We had a great time with this level pack.

Adds a good new level to the game which has a lot of good mini arcade games within the level.

I have not even finished unlocking all the older games with my son but after unlocking Gauntlet and Rampage this pack is worth buying, especially after getting it for 50% due to the weekly deal. Highly recommended for anyone who played arcade games in the 80's and 90's.

I've really been enjoying Lego Dimensions with my son. This level addition was great. It was sad not all the old games were two player, but I had a fun time telling and showing my son about these games. They did seem a little harder than the original games though.

Some of the classic games you can play with this set are very difficult to play. To the point where I was getting really frustrated with some of them and I wasn't having any fun. I got this on sale and stacked my gamers club discount on top of it, ending up at around $16-17. But I don't see paying anymore than that. I would wait until this goes on sale to get it.

Some of the level packs are better than others --- this one is unique for all of the retro arcade games. A nice grab when it's on sale (most of the Lego Dimensions packs feel overpriced to me -- but when you catch them on sale, they're worth picking up.)

I'm a sucker for Lego but I thoroughly enjoy the Lego Dimensions game. Actually getting to play with Lego bricks while playing the game is very fun and the kids really seem to enjoy it. This pack adds a number of retro arcade games that are very fun to play.

I got this Lego Dimensions level pack for my 11-year-old son, since he already has all the other Lego Dimension level packs. So far, the level pack is an awesome take on the old school arcade games, and I'm satisfied with my purchase.

For starters, it has around 30 old school Midway games that are playable within the Midway Arcade level of Lego Dimensions. That's on top of the fun of building the set and having another Lego Dimensions level to play through.

This particular set offers the most bang for your buck. You get access to all of the Midway world and also get to play some retro games. If you had to pick amongst the bunch of them, I'd say go with this one first.
