The internal upgrade any base PS5 so desperately needed. After upgrading from PS4 to PS5, the console was already at capacity from so many PS4 games being transitioned onto the console. This storage upgrade perfects the console and removes any worry about future storage issues. Loading also feels like it's from the native PS5 SSD rather than an added SSD, making the experience butter smooth.

Great Hard Drive for PS5. Speeds are really fast and has twice as much space. Installation is very simple as well as a reasonable price.

Bought this in back in November 2022 now it’s February and this internal hard drive has been holding up solid. So far no issues with it I installed it into my PS5 for the extra storage and it has been amazing, games take around the same time amount of time to load up as the original hard drive “which is very fast” yo start playing. I recommend this hard drive to anyone who is looking to add more storage to your system without losing any performance.

The sale price is not bad for 2 TB and comes with a heatsink I think it could been alittle cheaper.

Simple install tiok 3 minutes to install and now have plenty of storage. Very quick to transfer files

Quick and easy install. Takes about 10 minutes, only need a small screwdriver. Slides into place, screw it into position. Reinstall covers and restart and the expansion is instantly recognized. I’ve had WD black external drives on my PC for years with no issues and hoping for the same performance from this SSD. From a Best Buy standpoint tried the new locker pick up. Super easy and convenient.

If you have a PS5, you need to expand your hard drive storage space. Highly recommend the Western Digital SN850 to achieve this. This hard drive was easy to install and took 15-30 minutes with the help of a YouTube video. Have had great luck with WD drives in the past as I have completed past installations with my PS3 and PS4.

My games run much faster and downloads take a fraction of the time. I also have not yet been able to max out the storage and I've had this for about 3 years now. Very easy to install as well.

Been thinking about expanding the storage on my PS5 for a while. This has worked great so far. I like to play a variety of games due to whether gaming solo, or with different friend groups. Finally can have all of them installed at once. Watched a Youtube video for how to install. Super easy and dummy proof. Definitley recommend if someone needs more storage.

Unlike The built in ps5 SSD which claims to have 825GB of storage but only a little over 650 GB is usable, this SSD shows that it has a full 2.00 TB of usable space. Even better than I thought it would be, performance wise, it has not had any issues either and behaves as expected. Only Flaw is installing the drive is not as simple as plugging into the back like the xbox SSDs

Super Easy to install. After its installed you have 2Tb of extra space. I bought it on sale. I have had no issues with it. I needed the extra storage seeing as my ps5 only had 825gb of storage space. A lot of the newer games take a lot of storage up. Def worth picking up especially if they are having a sale on it.

It’s going to be a while before we get a PS5 pro but it’s also not guaranteed to have a lot of base storage. This drive solves that problem with ease. Excellent value & quality while being easy to install. I still recommend a guide of how to go about it safely though since the drive & PS5 are both expensive.

Small package with big gains!! We all know the PS5 console comes with limited storage. But with this simple upgrade, I’ve expanded my consoles capacity to new limits. And this memory is blazing fast!!

Super fast, very reliable. The new, officially licensed box version is a great price now. I paid around $375 for the 2TB before it was an official accessory. Jump on it. And there's no real world difference between the 850 and the 850X. The X is just a higher priced version of basically the same thing. Go straight for the 850 at this price!
