Great product. Easy set up. Use this daily as my safe guard to my cloud backup to my hard drive for my home office.

I tried several on line clouds and all worked but when I read about the WD personal cloud I was impressed bought it and am now more than impressed.

MyCloud Home is easy to set up and use. Instructions are clear and the app is easy to navigate! I would definitely purchase another one in the future!

I love this WD Cloud Home. I have put my pictures on it and can view them on my cell phone whenever I want to.

Recommend to replace hard drives for Mac to avoid any common hard drive failures in the future. However, it is slow when uploading files. But I can’t complain. Overall, I would purchase again.

My old WD MyCloud was a nice DLNA media server. Shows up on DLNA smart televisions as an DLNA NAS server and easily streamed media to the TV. However, with this new version of of MyCloud i.e. My Cloud "Home", setting this up as a DLNA media server was a true nightmare. You MUST use the PLEX app, and the TV MUST have the PLEX app available-supported and installable. And even with THAT, getting this to go as a DLNA media server was impossible. On the phone to WD tech support "second level support tier" for 2 hours and even they could not get this My Cloud "Home"' to act as a DLNA media server, even with using PLEX. WHY WD, WHY? would WD release a new version of something that is actually worse than the previous version???? Whatever the intension of WD, this new version called My Cloud "Home" is NOT a DLNA media server. At least not as was the older version which simply worked!!! Needless to say, 2 hours is enough time wasted messing around with any technology. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Plain and simple. Will return this to Best Buy and keep my first generation My Cloud drive, which DOES work as advertised for the most part. All I want to know from WD is WHY?????

This MyCloud was very easy to setup and begin using. I love knowing all of my information is automatically backed up!

I've been using the "my cloud" drives in Sonos setups I do with great success. They're easy to set up and work great.

I have setup 7 of these network drives for staff access at client locations and they love them. Very easy to setup up and use.

This is a great option to backup, store and save your important files and photos so you won’t loose them.

I have been using the drive as a Plex media server, on that account it works great as long as I do not push it too much. One fault it does have is that the built in apps do not allow for outbound media or file sync. Mounting the drive is done through their app; I would rather mount it myself. I should have done a little more research on this unit, but for the price, I can't complain too much.

I purchased this drive as a dvr extender for my wally receiver with dish networks. the receiver was unable to recognize the drive.

My first experience was the appearance of the product it looked sleek and durable along with the appeal of a commercial product. With the easy included installation instructions found the product easy to install with the included cables and accessories. The product was easy to link between all of our devices and it keeps all connected devices synced up via over internet. Recommend to anyone with the desire to have stored data closer to home.
