Can't really complain about this one at all. It's quick, big enough to hold all of my files and still portable.

Read reviews about this because I kept running out of space, and didn’t want to keep deleting games to install new ones. Love the fact that there is no power cord besides the usb that’s plugged into the PS4 anyway. Great product

I'm using this in conjunction with a 128gb SSD drive. I'm a photographer. I love the speed but I need a lot of space. This way I get the best of both worlds. It's compact still pretty fast for its size. It doesn't take up a lot of space and it was reasonably priced. I got it on sale for $120.

This little drive stores a lot in a small footprint. It was easy to set up and quick to get used to.

Have a Mac, was easy to format to use as a time machine drive. Big capacity so I can store other stuff.

Good size for an 4tb external hard drive. Good speed, and the black color is discret enough. Good deal.

I purchased this on Best Buy during a promotion that came with a $25 gift card. I needed an external for my PS4 because we all know 500GB is just not enough space for these next gen systems & games. With a deal like that on a 4TB external I couldn't pass this deal up. This external will work with PS4 but there is 1 annoying little catch. And that is your PS4 does not recognize this external straight out of the box. You will need to format this by other means like hooking it up on your PC or laptop. Once you do that it will work fine with PS4 no problems. I won't deduct a star for that but I wanted to make note of it for any potental buyers. If you feel like that is a inconvience I'd suggest purchasing a Seagate external. My friend has one and it automaticly worked with his PS4 without needing to use a PC to format it. I hope this information helps. Also have to mention the color options for these are nice! I went with white to match my Harley Quinn PS4. ☺ Happy gaming!!!

I bought this for my Xbox One S instead of the GameDrive external. This one works great and was less expensive. It does come with backup software, but it was easy enough to format with my computer to completely empty the storage. It connected to my console flawlessly, and it runs well.

I learned the hard way... What's the old saying? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I tried a Seagate 4tb external because it was cheaper in price, but returned it a few hours later after experiencing major issues with compatibility to my macbook pro. Got this one instead, and have been very happy with the speed and reliability so far. You just can't beat Western Digital! It could have been a fluke that my Seagate drive was defective, but I have been buying WD for years, and have never had any problems like this. To experience problems my first time getting something different than a WD is just not acceptable. I will only buy WD from here on out when it comes to my external hd needs.

Just needed something simple and reliable to backup my photos and this does the trick. easy to use

I use this to increase the storage on my Xbox One S and it works great. Plenty of use over the past 10 months and zero problems out of it. Perfect size to plug into a rear usb port and just have sit on top of system. Very compact and reliable.

I keep a lot of my physical games, even if I'm not playing them for long periods of time. So the storage space on my Xbox One fills up rather quickly; and it also doesn't help that a lot of games require huge amounts of storage (20gb and up). This hard drive is sold by a very reputable brand, so they are extremely trustworthy, and the build/quality of their drives is outstanding. The drive is connected to my Xbox, and it is far from where I play; so I can't comment on whether it makes any sort of noise or anything like that. But the storage options are great (I opted for 4tb) and the prices are competitive. Note to people who aren't aware: Even though the drive is advertised for a certain amount of storage space (in my case, 4tb), it's always going to be slightly less once you plug it in and check the specs. So keep that in mind when deciding how much space you'll need and how much bang you'll get for your buck.

I prefer WD drives to other brands because I have had great luck and most of the portable carry a 3 year vs the 2 year that the other major brand has. This was my first purchase of a 4tb and it is great. I am not picky about color so that is why when the red was the cheapest options, I picked it. The usb cable it comes with is also red, which was nice. I also have a 3tb version and that one has served me well.

I use it to store all my digital movie files. Works quick with the USB 3.0 and reliable!

My photo and music libraries have gotten pretty massive. This 4TB drive is reasonably priced and small enough to carry with me everywhere. In the past to store this much data required a server that was too big to be portable. The My Passport 4TB drive solves these issues.

Bought this with hopes to free up my 1 terabyte on my console. This thing works perfect. I literally have about 15 games, first I transferred what was on my local hard drive to the external, then I installed all my other games that I could never store on my local due to not enough space. Took me about an entire day. Also I do not have internet atm, my guess is if I did the updates would have taken much longer due to more items to download and install. Im really glad I bought this 3.0 usb it was super fast and I highly recommend for anyone looking for external hard drive for a console. I set it on top of my Xbox with a strip of double sided tape to secure it down to the console so it won’t move and it turned out perfect. 5 STARS. NOTE:Been about a month and a half since I’ve owned it, if any problems occur in the future I will be back with a review update.

So far, everything is fine with this. I have had it for a few weeks, and it is working as expected. I upgraded from a Passport 1 TB which I have had for a few years without incident, I am just a digital hoarder, so I needed more space. I went with this Passport because of the price and the one I own that works well. My only complaint is with Best Buy themselves, unrelated to the Passport.
