I have several external hard drives. I purchased the my passport 1TB, I keep Records & photos on the portable hard drive. I use to keep Mac Clean & back for records. This size holds a lot. But you never want to Totally fill, sometimes they will not work properly if to full.

I'm using it for Time Maching on my Mac Pro. So far so good. I'd recommend this drive. Compact too.

This Passport mac 1TB is great. I just bought me a new Mac and wanted all my files in the same place. I’ve downloaded all of my pictures and school work. The great thing is I have plenty more space and it’s very easy to use .. you will love it and you can’t go wrong.

Excellent drive for the money. Plenty of storage, easy to set up. Was just backing up my hard drive when the review prompt came in. Note -- if you encrypt your backup, the first one will take a very, very long time. Just a note -- that's not the function of this drive/brand.

My 1TB passport is fast, works seamlessly with Time Machine on my macbook. I bought this to reduce my Google Drive storage and figured it was cheaper than Google's price for more space. This turned out to be a great solution. And cheaper than anything Apple had to offer.

I was looking for a hard drive to back up my PS4, so I started doing my research and this was the most popular one that's compatible for the system. Was going to go with a smaller amount gig one but they were on sale. Overall, it did exactly what I needed it to do.

Good product. Easy to use and transfer files right into. I was able to split drive in 2 parts via my Mac. I didn't have any issues once I separated data everything was stored and complete. It's small enough to travel with. But I was advised not to move it around to much because it is light weight. Good back up to leave at home or office and use when needed.
