This SSD is very nice, but when you do a speed test on it, it is a tad bit lacking in speed compared to other offerings from Samsung, like the T7. I get around ~200MB/s writes and around ~400MB/s reads with this drive. It works great for storing files and it's extremely portable, but don't expect it to be blazing fast.

Was looking for a SSD storage device and saw the deal here. Have been good do far, speed is quite good, lightweight, and easy connection.

I used this to double the storage on my PS4 Pro. It did just that. I kind of wish I would have gotten a 2 TB SSD external hard drive. I'll look into that when my storage is full again

Fast little bugger! Very tiny too compared to my other western digital hard drive for my xbox one x. Reads and writes fast! Excellent product. So quiet.

This attractive WD - My Passport Go 1TB External USB 3.0 SSD went on sale for $100 on Best Buy Deal of the Day. I read all the Best Buy reviews on this model and decided to buy one. When it came I tried it on several well maintained computers I own with USB 3.0 and I could not get the USB 3.0 read/write speeds some other Best Buy reviewers had mentioned, instead it was clocking closer to USB 2.0 read/write speeds when testing with ATTO Hard Drive Benchmark, etc. so I returned it.

The 1TB is just about the right storage, this drive is extremely lightweight and fast. The transfer rate is superb, no noise at all. It's so light you can carry with you where ever you are going.

Even smaller than I'd expected. Cool rugged design and a great way to back up files. Planning to use as a duplicate backup of 20 years of digital family photos and other important files in an emergency go bag.

This little portable SSD fits in my pocket and is super easy to take with you wherever you go. I traveled for 6 weeks and was glad I had this with me. It's easy to connect and disconnect. Works like a charm!

Wanted an SSD drive to replace my other external drive. Works great. Just wish the cord were longer, though. I had to get a Usb extension cord so it doesn’t just dangle from the desktop.

Its size is very compact and its weight is very light. Its writing and reading speed is fast. It is an excellent deal to buy a well-known brand 1TB SSD at $99.99!!

Bought this thinking it was a great deal but its so flimsy. I would be scare of carrying in my messenger laptop bag. Bought a metal case on instead. The other think most of these new drives only have 2 year warranty For keeping next to a desktop in a desk, may be OK

This is my first solid state drive, and really like the size and how quickly data transfers to/from this device. I feel this drive will last far longer and better than previous models.

This drive is small and easy to use. I think I am really going to like it. I needed a SSD and thought this would be a great one and it has not disappointed.
