The previous 4 tb drives where 5400 rpm these are 7200 and louder. I've had to put the drive to sleep at night due to the noise.

ZFS was able to resilver the mirror with no problem, and it's been running without any issues now for about 6 weeks!

It as fast as some of my other 7200 rpm enterprise drives. Good for backups and cold storage of media file. Does its job. Stores data.

Didn't immediately open and install it so the short 15 day return period has already passed. Best Buy says to replace it through warranty with the manufacturer. WD notes they send out recertified (used, failed, repaired) drives for RMA. Paid full price for a brand new product and now going to end up with one that has already failed once.
