It helps, I have signal in dead spots in my home. But don’t get exited. 427 dolllars for 1-2 extra bars in my phone with no change in internet speeds...it’s a “no go”. I have to climb to my house roof which is crazy risky and high for this. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad product. But 400 is crazy and that crappy antenna gives you signal in an average bedroom, don’t think you will have signal around the floor. So in theory I have phone calls in some part of my house, with crappy internet speeds with AT&T, but I will embrace word calling and same 400 dollars

We have a very weak signal. It was difficult to get a reliable cell connection outdoors let alone inside our metal roofed home. Readings outdoors ranged from 118 - 124. We could get a fairly reliable 1 bar on the end of our house toward the nearest tower. Very dense forest separated the two. Being 72 it took me about 4 hours to install the Home Room booster. We now have reliable 3-4 bar service in our home and our hotspot is amazing as well. The signal strength does start to fade when more than 25 ft away but I have not dropped a call anywhere in our 1600 sqft home since installing. Go for the multiroom version if your house is larger. Ha it was rainy and cold I don't know why the photo is green.

I have an older model Wilson signal booster im not even sure how many years ago I put it in at least 5 and it still works fine for our upstairs bedroom. This one was easier to install than i expected I just aligned the new antenna with the old one and registered it and we now have reliable internet down stairs.

My Bother's house has a metal roof and metal siding. The signal from Verizon outside is one and sometimes two bars. My phone could not be used inside the house unless I was at a window. I installed the booster antenna on the roof and turned it on. Wow! Four and five bars in the house and the data is pretty fast!

This works, for years no reception in a metal building, I've asked AT&T for a solution, N/A. I ask the direct tv installer, he told me about this, he was told by a friend the cell booster works from Best Buy!! IT WORKS!!

We live in the country & have a hotspot offered as internet from Direct TV which is HORRIBLE internet service. Our cell has never worked inside our house(not sure if our metal roof affected that) but we now can talk on our cells with no drop calls & our internet is 100 times faster. The price is hefty BUT we wished we had bit the bullet a whole lot sooner. Bad internet service and phone service makes you crazy. This booster has made us all VERY HAPPY campers!

This thing is not magic, but it does work. I live in an apartment with a balcony and inside the apartment I am lucky to get two bars of 4G on Verizon. Usually it's just one bar or sometimes 3G. Outside I can usually get three bars. I bought this thing after looking at a zboost model and calling their customer service for a recommendation. He said this one might suit me better. It is a little bit picky on the direction you point it. Having a balcony I have about 180° to play with and most of that is not helpful, which was discouraging at first. But finally I was able to find an angle that does wonders. It boosted my signal inside the apartment from the aforementioned 1-2 bars to an easy 4 bars. Sometimes even 5 but that's still pretty rare. Either way, it's a huge improvement. Both data and call quality are definitely improved! The good thing about this kit is that it gives you a lot of mounting angle options both vertically and horizontally. Before you get this, or at least while you're setting it up, I highly recommend downloading a signal meter to check your quality, since the bars aren't always that accurate. There's plenty of good free ones on the Google Play store. To give an example using specific numbers from the apps I use, I went from a weak signal of between -110 and -115 without this booster to between -76 and -88 with it. That's worth it in my opinion. But it is a pricey item so it's up to you to decide if it's worth it to you.

Product works good, but was expecting more range. I read the specs, and knew 1500 sq ft. Was not realistically achievable, but 200 to 500 sq ft would be. I would say the signal is only "good", meaning able to download or upload on my phone, in about a 150, to maybe 200 sq ft area. Setup was easy, instructions were clear. Product is well made. If I were to purchase all over though, I would have upgraded to the WeBoost MultiRoom.

A little tricky to set up, but boosts the signal

I needed a better cell signal for work-related phone in meetings. I was getting a max of two bars and was breaking up on a regular basis. This booster was a bit tricky to set up, but in the end it was worth the effort, as I now get 4 to 5 bars. And the funny thing is that I moved the indoor antenna to wipe up my kitchen counter and found out it provides more coverage when it is 6-7 feet above the floor. So now it sits up on a ledge instead of taking up space on the counter. I don't have it set up "pretty" so at some point I may make the installation neater. I was in a bit of a hurry and needed to get it done. I did download an app to my phone to find the cell towers near me, since the instructions tell you to point the outdoor antenna at a cell tower. It cost about $400, so its not cheap. But I wanted to make sure I came across professionally for work meeting. So I see it as an investment.

Purchased for a vacation home that has poor service. Seem to work well with in the room that it is located. Signal does not seem to carry through the entire home but for the price it is doing enough for what it was needed for.

The bars on my cell phone in my house went from 0-1 to 4-5. I absolutely love this cell phone booster. I got a universal because I have seen a lot of reviews saying a universal booster is better than a booster designed for you phone model. It is so easy to install. My contractor had it up and running in about 30 minutes. I am sooooo happy that I purchased it. Now I can actually have a conversation with someone without having to run outside in the heat or cold to talk. I definitely think you will be happy with this product if you give it a chance, have it installed per the directions and put it up as high as you can if you live in a dead zone. I have a tv outside antenna and it was put on the pole under the tv antenna.

I am torn: maybe I shouldn't be so picky and given it a 5 star rating. It did boost our cell signal. We went from 0-2 bars, to 3-5, depending on where we are in proximity to the Weboost. We are now able to receive calls, which usually didn't happen or were very bad. My hesitation on giving it 5 stars was in part for the instructions, which mostly used pictures. If they weren't going to have detailed written instructions, then the pictures should have been bigger to tell which screws/washers went where. Also it stated that a person could use the vents on the roof instead of a pole. Wonderful! But they figured the pipes were 1-2 inches and ours were 3 1/2 inches in diameter. So we had to rig up hardware to make it work. They had nothing in the kit to fasten the cable so it wouldn't sag, hang down, etc. We will be getting some fasteners. I also suggest a hose clamp or tie down or something to hold the cable that comes from the outside antenna so the weight of the cable doesn't pull unnecessarily on where it connects to the outside antenna. The cable has some weight to it, considering how long it is. The instructions said to use an app like Open Signal to find the nearest cell tower, but it didn't show my carrier. So I got the app, Network Cell Info Lite, for my phone. It showed me exactly which way to point the outside antenna for best reception. I have to admit that registering the product (FCC rules say you must) was very simple. The easiest part of the whole install. The Weboost website and more information, both on the products and on installation. I wish I would have researched the Weboost more before I purchased the model I did, not because I am unhappy with it, but because if I had, I would have gotten the "bigger" one that handles rural and large homes. We are definitely rural, and it would have been nice to have it boost the signal anywhere in the house. But it is working in our dining room and kitchen which is where we congregate for most of our phone calls. So I think we will keep it until it dies. (I have no idea of its life span.) Then get a bigger one next time. We will keep using this, until we are sure it will work consistently, then say goodbye to our landline.

After many frustrating experiences of slow signals and even occasional lost signals, and unreliable speeds, I purchased weBoost - Home 4G Cellular Signal Booster. Install took some time, but pretty self explanatory. Didn't have to run a cable into the house, as we had recently disconnected our satellite service and used the lines that were being used for satellite from the roof. Our signal has increased dramatically. We went from 2 bars or sometimes 1 bar and now get 4 bars on a slow day and most days we get 5 bars. Tremendous increase for our needs. Download and uploads speeds are more than we thought possible. Great product. Worth the price.

It works well when you are sitting very close to the area. We followed instructions to it's entirety and for some reason I still have blinking red/green bars. It definitely boosts our LTE signal in the home, but literally only in the area next to it. Does not really work across a 1500 Sq. Ft home.

I have been searching for a way to get a better LTE signal in my house without breaking bank. I researched lots of options online and decided to give the WeBoost a try. It actually worked! The only thing I will say is that the outside pole option worked best for me. I tried the window but it just didn't seem to help. You also have to make sure you actually have a someone what ok signal to begin with. I had one, sometimes two bars with Verizon in my house. Now the booster provides me with anywhere from 3-5 signal strength consistently. The phone does need to stay pretty close to the indoor antenna to get that signal. You go very far, like 20 feet away and the strength drops back down. I wish the inside antenna provided more of a boost but hey it does what I need it to.

I needed to boost the signal in my basement. I had been getting just one bar but now consistently get three bars, enabling me to use the device that I was trying to use in the basement. Though I can get four bars, I have to be within about four or five feet of the antenna; otherwise, I would have given the product five stars.

The weBoost Home signal booster saved my bacon. I live in a semi-rural area. My options for Internet access are limited to (a) a mobile hotspot or (b) satellite. For a variety of reasons, satellite is not viable for me. So, I've used an AT&T 4G LTE mobile hotspot for the last 3+ years. Sadly, AT&T moved their transmitters off of the tower nearest my home about 18 months ago and signal quality has dropped -- significantly -- causing a whole bunch of trouble for this home-based IT worker. A few months ago, I installed the weBoost and it immediately went to work boosting the wireless signal which improved the both quality and speed of my Internet connection. This unit is a bit pricey, but it works. It's a technical installation, but weBoost customer service will walk you through it or recommend a professional installer. So, if you have trouble getting a good signal in a (semi-)permanent location, the weBoost Home Signal Booster is just what the doctor ordered.

We live in the boonies and needed a cell phone boost. I was skeptical but this product does exactly what it says. I hoped to be able to mount on inside window but knew we'd have to do an outside mount. The big decision is where to place the antenna. Once that's accomplished, it was an easy install. It was a self installation. I now have 3-4 bars instead of 1 inside my house and don't have to run around the yard looking to get more reception.
