With all the unsafe websites viruses and identity theft out there your just asking for trouble if you dont have some kind of protection on your pc I found webroot to be one if not the best out there . Webroot gives you protection from the latest known threats.

I got this for free from BestBuy when purchasing the Lenovo Y50. It is a good antivirus. I already have a subscription to AVG, but since this is free, I'll be using this one in the meanwhile. I don't have any complaints about it. It seems to get the job done.

I tried the Kaspersky that came with my Ultrabook for the month it was free. It caused problems accessing my network drives, sending emails, printing documents, etc, etc, etc. By the end of the month I had disabled several protection features. The Webroot was one of the optional Best Buy free companion products and I chose it over Kaspersky because I knew the name. I am so glad I did. Once I downloaded Webroot all my problems ended. And I don't have messages popping up every time I enter text or data telling me my security is working for me. I don't want or need constant reminders. I want something that works, works great, and does it without a lot of fanfare and annoyance. I also want something that works without having to shut it down every time I want to send or receive something and then turn it back on later. What kind of protection is that? Kaspersky - NO! Webroot - Yes, yes, yes...!

Read great reviews about this product so I purchased it. Installed it on 2 laptops and my Android phone. After running a scan on one of my laptops it detected a threat,the protection I'd been using for 5 years failed to detect (Microsoft Security Essential ).This product will detect a virus when it triedstarts to launch,I've experienced this twice. Great protection.

My computer was very slow which I attributed to age and internet speed- WRONG. once I uninstalled Norton and added Webroot it became alot faster. Did not give 5 stars only because I only recently purchased product. Otherwise so far a great product.

This was suggested by the Geek Squad. They said it would not slow my computer down as much as Norton. I am not sure, it may be faster. I know my dads dell comps have always ran slow even with this. I have suggested this to others. I like it well enough.

When I bought my new lap top last April, I purchased the Internet Security Webroot SecureAnywhere. It was easy to install and easy to use checking for viruses and malware during the following year. I liked it enough to purchase a new one for the next year.

The Web Root Secure Anywhere software was easy to install and use. The software had an easy to use graphical user interface which would be user friendly for a beginner who is new to using anti- spyware tools. The software typically ran in the background and provided constant protection. The trial software gave the you the option to protect up to three devices whether or not it was a computer or mobile device. The software also had many options that you can configure and fine tune to meet your individual needs. There is also useful reports built into the software to allow you to review the items that was found and quarantined. There is a web console that allows you to manage the software settings online and also interact with other Web Root users in a forum environment. Overall this is a great software to have when looking to protect not only your pc but other mobile devices.

I got this virus protection when I had my laptop serviced . It easy to use and doesn't slow the computer down. I have had other virus protection products and they always seam to slow my computer. Scans quietly in the background and doesn't bother me.

So far, the Webroot Security System is working according to expectations. It came with my purchase of a Geek Squad service plan and was recommended by the technician. It has no detected any problems so far. We'll see what happens if a virus appears.
