Super easy to set-up and useful when you want to turn devices on/off remotely. Whether I am in a different room or away from home - lights are still within my control.

It was very easy to set up. This is my third wemo switch and it is better than the old clunky version. It doesn't need a hub or anything. The wemo app isn't the best, but it's easy enough to set up and works with Alexa. I've used it to set away timers while I was out of town to give me some peace of mind my house looks occupied. Setting up rules and timers is a bit of a pain, but that's due to the app, not the hardware.

I love pairing this with my echo. I like to be able to turn on and off my lamp from anywhere in the world. It is convenient when it is dark and you can't quite see to turn on a lamp. I just tell alexa to turn it on! Great price. The only thing that is a drawback is that you have to redownload the device. It will say that it is not recognized.

This is a great smart plug that has integration with Alexa and my phone. We use it to make sure my wife's curling iron gets turned off each day. The scheduling and conditional settings are great. It turns off by a certain time each day or after it has been on for over an hour. Been using it for over a year now and have had zero issues.

Plugs were easy to set up and have worked great. I ended up getting 3 more for other lights and a coffee maker. Also connected to Alexa for added convenience.

I got this as an upgrade to the first generation WEMO switch and not only does it not take up an entire outlet, but it works better and responds faster.

Easy setup, low profile, and works great. We plugged our lamp into it, so no more bumping into things at night. We just ask Alexa to turn on the lamp.

The Wemo mini smart plug was very easy to set up. The required app is easy to use, as well. I synced this with my Amazon Echo Dot to operate lamps in my apartment and it's very reliable. This design allows for 2 Wemo smart plugs to be plugged into the same wall outlet. Additionally, the Wemo app allows you to control the lights from your smartphone no matter your location.

I received one of these for Christmas to go with my Alexa (Dot) and since then, I have purchased seven more! Love these. I have several that I use with Alexa (she turns on the fireplace and lights) and several I use on outdoor lights and use the timer features with the WEMO app. It is so easy to set up and control with the WEMO app, and it is very user-friendly!

In looking for a lighting control device that works with Alexa, I found Wemo to be very reliable and easy to program. It has it's own simple app as well as Amazon Echo compatibility. It worked so well that I proceeded to purchase 2 more for the house. I'm very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone interested in controlling household lighting without the bother of mechanical timers that need to be changed for DST and power failures, etc. An added bonus of making changes while away from home as well.

The Belkin Wemo Mini switch was quick and easy to configure. The whole process only took a few minutes. I can control the switch through the Wemo iPhone app or with my Amazon Alexa Dot. I'm using this with the built in timer function to control lights. Since it plugs into an existing outlet it's very portable. I'm very happy with the product.

I've been very happy with the Wemo products. I own 3 of the Wi-Fi smart plugs and one smart switch. They are very easy to set up and manage through the app. I mainly use mine with Alexa voice control which is very simple to link using the Alexa app. I took off one star because every now and then it will not respond and I just have to say the command again and it works. I use mine on a couple lamps and have one for my Christmas tree lights. I like the fact that you can name each outlet what you want which helps to easily manage them in app. Pros: Easy setup Ability to name each device separately Easily managed in app Works with Alexa Doesn't block second outlet Cons: Sometimes doesn't recognize device when saying command (repeat command and it then works) All in all, I would definitely recommend this device as a simple smart home option.

I'm not very tech savvy and this item was very easy to understand. I was expecting a lot of complicated instructions and steps. I gave myself a 2 hour time limit. If i couldn't figure this out in 2 hours, it was going back. Surprisingly, the instructions were simple and straight forward as though they were written especially for me. Very useful product. Does what it's supposed to do. Nothing more nothing less.

This is v2, so an update from the prior mode. The prior model was fairly bulky and round (oval shape). The first version worked for my purposes, but if you plugged it into a power strip it blocked several ports. My fix was to use a small 6 inch extension cable as an intermediary between the switch and the power strip. This version is still fairly bulky, but the size is now constrained to the horizontal plane. I still use the extension cable to move the above the power strip. In terms of functioning, it's still easy to set up this product up and get it working. The setup and functioning is no different than the prior version. The only difference between this version and the prior is on a network level. Having an Apple router, every time I look at devices connected to my router, the prior versions just displayed their IP address. This new version with actually now display WeMo. That's the only difference, apart from size and shape, that I can see.

It didn’t set up as easily as other devices of this type I have, it took several attempts to get it to connect to our wifi and I had to do a reset, but once it was connected we have had no problems with it at all. We have our outdoor holiday lights hooked up to it and have 2 schedules, one for the evening and one for early morning, so our lights don’t stay on in the wee hours of the night and waste energy. I have been very pleased with it’s performance once it was set up, and I really enjoy not ever having to mess with my lights, and being able to go out in the morning and come home after work and my lights are all on to greet me. You have to download their app to set it up and run it, but the app is very simple to use and I had no trouble at all setting my schedules (rules). Once the holidays are over and we take down the outdoor lights I am looking forward to having some of our inside house lights hooked up to smart switches.

    Wemo switches continue to improve

I have used Wemo switches for a number of years. This is the second Wemo mini switch that I have purchased. The switch is installed through the Wemo app on your smart phone. This is particularly easy if you have other Wemo products. Suggest setting the switch up in an outlet close to your phone before moving to the final location. Only reason for the 4 rating instead of 5 is that the Wemo switches do not currently support Homekit which has been announced to be coming this fall.

I honestly expected these to be finicky, but they aren't. We've had them for months now and they only haven't worked when someone accidentally flipped a wall switch and cut power to them. Turn it back on and they reconnect within a minute or two. My only complaint is sometimes there is a slight delay, but that might be the fault of the Google Home and it's integration than anything. (Slight delay being 5-7 seconds before the lights turn on or off after we issue the command, but it's uncommon.)

This was really easy to set up, once I installed the app on my phone. I have a Google Home, and it was recognized right away. It was a little wonky until the firmware update, but once the firmware was updated, it's been working reliably. It's very convenient to tell Google to turn the light on and off. Much easier than installing a switch!
