I was on a budget, and was looking for something under $300. Found this TV for $200 on Cyber Monday and was thrilled. Nice picture, but some shows can be a bit dark when watching during the day. Sound is good. Only thing I did notice is that when I press a button, sometimes it doesn’t take it and i have to press it again.

The picture is stunning for a cheap tv. We bought this a couple weeks before Black Friday. We were in need of a new TV as our old tv was broken. The tv was easy to set up, especially with xfinity. The sound is great, it comes out of back speakers. Overall a great tv at a great price.

Bought this as a gift, amazing price. Picture quality is crystal clear, easy set up. Worked great with youtubetv.
I did buy a 2 year warranty because of some of the reviews and it was super affordable. Will review again after 6 months. Very pleased with purchase.

The tv picture quality is good once you change the color settings. Sound is not so good, it probably needs a sound system to make it sound better. Overall it is a good buy for a 50” Tv at $199.99! Four stars just because of the sound. Once you calibrate it’s good. My husband likes the overall picture while playing Red Dead Redemption on his Xbox. Sorry but my cell phone camera doesn’t do the tv picture quality justice.

Fantastic color, perfect sound, and easy, user-friendly remote! I can't find anything wrong with it. I originally bought it as a present for my step son, because it was on sale, but wound up keeping it for myself and getting him a different one... It is truly a fantastic purchase!

Just got it yesterday and mounted it on my wall. I was able to lift and mount it alone so it's not too heavy of a TV. It looks great and the sounds is decent enough for a TV. I have a sounds system to use with it anyway, so that's not a concern. When I first connected it to my computer through an HDMI cord, the TV would not recognize the source. My computer recognized the TV but the TV did not display anything from the computer. It worked on my PS3 though, using an HDMI. After messing around a bit and calling the useless Westinghouse customer service, I found the option in the settings I needed to adjust. It works fine after that with all HDMI connections.
I got it on sale for $200 and I think it's worth what I paid for it. I got the warranty too just in case. I would not pay full price for this thing.
The smart features are good and work well, no complaint here. The user interface isn't as laggy as I expected from a Smart TV. I will still use Netflix and YouTube through my computer, but it's nice to have the option there I guess. I'm happy with it otherwise.
Just a couple things:
I don't like the the red LED light for the IR sensor remains on when the TV is off. No big deal though, at least it's not on while the TV is on.
Another thing is the refresh rate. On such a large screen, and being used to 120Hz on my computer monitors, it's clear that the refresh rate is low. I can only get 30Hz when connected to my computer. I don't mind it for now. It also seems to have gotten better when I connected it to HDMI 3, which is an ARC(Audio Return Channel) port. Not sure if it was my imagination but the latency in response seemed to have decreased when I used that instead.
Everything else is good for now.

I bought this Tv thinking I would be set. Pros: The picture quality is great and clear. The sound is good too and so far I have never increased the volume past 12 (out of 100) and it is enough to even hear in the adjacent room. For a 50" TV its light weight and I can move it alone. It looks kind of nice with slim black trims but nothing fancy!
Cons: Tv has very limited apps and you can not add anything to it so basically useless.. That should not be called a smart tv. The location of HDMI ports are so bad that if you try to connect a laptop or Roku stick/Chromecast/ etc. the HDMI insert is going to bend and break. The remote control doesn't function well (I tried multiple times on Netflix. It's not the app but the up/down buttons on the remote that take 27tries!). You can not set the tv contrast/light while something is playing which is a pain especially when you want it to be darker at night or like a cinema. You're stuck with one setting. You can not easily set a sleep timer (no such button). I am returning this TV and getting a different one. For almost the same price, I can get much better options.

I picked this up for a great price during cyber Monday. The picture is great; I am pleased with the tv function. What I do not like is how limited the smart hub is. You cannot download other apps that are not factory installed: no hulu, no xfinity, etc... I should have looked into the specs more before buying; that's my own fault. So now i just use a chromecast on it and it's all good. Overall a good tv and if I had to do it all over again I'd probably still buy it knowing the smart hub isn't great. If you're still reading this good for you. Your attention span is definitely better than mine. I don't usually leave reviews on stuff I've purchased but best buy keeps emailing me so here I am soaking in the bath tub writing the longest review I have ever written. I don't really have much going on today.. Well at least for the next hour or so, but then I have to leave for work. I've always wondered about those people who leave long friggin reviews. It's like who the frig has time for that! Well now i know.. I do. I'm one of those long review people now and there's NO GOING BACK...

For an entry level 4K television with HDR, I am very happy with the product. I have owned this television for about 1.5 yrs and have not experienced a dead pixel, decrease speaker quality or any other issues assumed in a budget product. There is the question of processing issues over time, but I’ve used a 4K Fire Stick (fantastic product) for the life of the product hence eliminating the need for app boot-up from the television processor. The processor is only focused on image.
Image processing is strong with no issues at all. Expect minimal range regarding HDR for it is indeed a budget product. I do notice the lack of the lighting dynamics during some dark scenes, but that is expected at this price point. The television includes adjustment for temperature for those with sensitive eyes. I used the television via 4K HDMI to play Zelda BOTW (video game) from my laptop (HP Spectre 15) upscaled to 4K. This game is very colorful by default, but the contrasting difference is noticeable between the Spectre screen and the television. I certainly prefer playing games on my laptop for the higher dynamic range and the contrast.
Speaker quality is fine, although I recommend an external output for a large room to improve clarity and volume.
With all of this said, I rate it 5 stars for it is a television with longevity at an excellent price when compared to the competitors. Keep in mind that this is a budget product, rating a television 1 star Just because it was defective is not justified for (especially in this segment) the probability of faulty products is higher than a premium product due to higher volume and part quality. For this, it is a question of customer service in which I have never had to contact, thus I do not include this factor in my rating. Purchase the 2 year geek squad coverage for an added net due to the probability in this segment. For my needs as a television used exclusively via 4K Fire Stick to watch films and television In my bedroom, it is an excellent product for the price I paid. It will serve as a great point of reference for future television purchases no matter market segment you may move on to. This was a great entry into the market. I will certainly be moving on to a brand with goodwill for my next purchase.

Great product for a great price. Does not have the wide arrange of apps that other smart TVs have and the remote is a bit cheap—but for the price & size it was well worth the purchase. Great picture quality and sound is also amazing. I don’t think I have even put it up to half the max volume yet.
I almost returned it because FedEx delivered it with a large boot sized crack in the screen but Best Buy customer service is top notch and I’m glad I just exchanged the TV for a new one because I love the tv.

Ok so I took a chance on this lesser known bargain brand on a Black Friday/Cyber Monday online special because of the super low price and wow I am really surprised at the picture quality...kind of blown away really. My expectations were very low but the picture on this tv is excellent and comparable to other more expensive UHD TV’s I own. The built in software and app selection are terrible though, this is where corners were cut. It’s not a big deal if you have cable or any decent streaming device though. I can’t speak of the long term reliability but as of right now, it far exceeded my expectations. Also it has very good sound and gets surprisingly loud, that was another big bonus. Very happy with the outstanding value so far.

This set was my first 4K set, and I can attest, that the picture is better than any 1080p set out there, and a very very low price. Some other reviews have complained of the picture flashing black or flickering, and when this happened to me, at first I also thought the TV was to blame. But after noticing it never had an issue with content on the built in You Tube app, I realized, the problem was with my Roku Ultra (and maybe my HDMI Cable)
I updated the Roku firmware and got a certified 4K cable, and have never had another issue. If you are in the market for your first 4K set, this is a good choice for those on a budget. If you are concerned with durability, then a Geek Squad Plan combined with this set is a good idea. Bottom line, fantastic picture for the price.

I bought this tv as a gift for a friend, after setting it up on a wall mount in the living room I found it more than adequate. At about $300 for a 4k smart tv, I was pleasantly surprised at it's performance.
