Be a werewolf not a swearwolf!

If you loved Flight of the Conchords or Eagle vs Shark you'll love this one too. Great effects and humor. Even though it's funny there is plenty of blood and gore. And despite the werewolves' aversions to swearing, there is a fair amount of it in places, but not as bad as in a Melissa McCarthy movie. Definitely worth adding to your comedy collection and will be a good way to take the edge off Halloween.

At times I laughed out loud and at times i rolled my eyes. Here's how I think is the best way describe this movie: Think "The Office"- style mockumentary, with a "Napoleon Dynamite" lens for absurdity in everyday mundane-ness. Add some silliness and vampires and there you have "What We Do in the Shadows" If you do not like any one of these film motiffs, I think you will be disappointed.

This is one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time! Nonstop laughs presented as a mockumentary about a group of vampires rooming together in New Zealand. It's like Mel Brooks "Dracula: Dead and Loving It!" Meets "Airplane!" Meets "Flight of the Conchords"! Very original, excellent comedy.

If you loved the Munsters or the Addams Family, you will love this more grown up version of the house of freaks (vampires in this case.) Warped, witty, and quite naughty at times. "Documentary" style point of view. This movie got turned into a series because it's soooooo funny.

The movie is a bit absurd, but I found myself laughing out loud in many parts, and I am still quoting the movie when with my friends and at work. I initially found a few of the actors a little lacking in charisma, but the humor and throw away lines soon eased into feeling I was amongst friends. "First, we see if they have are more safety tips, and then we kill them."

Best Buy was the only place to have this movie so I know now in the future to always check for maybe not the most popular films. Didn't disappoint! This movie has become one of my favorites and I'm so happy the had it, just streaming it wasn't enough. If you want a good laugh and a fun time with your friends definitely check this movie out.

I'd thought the faux-documentary tropes were played out and tired, but boy was I wrong. This movie has some of my favorite comedy bits ever, and my girl-friend and I keep still quote the movie--always a good sign. That'll show me to doubt the Flight of the Conchords guys. Heck, I'm kinda looking forward to Thor 3.

What We Do In The Shadows is a great mocumentary. The jokes are so subtle and funny. The dry humor is something only Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi could have come up with. And you think a mocumentary about vampires would be weird, and it is but still one of the funniest films around. A must have for any comedy fan.

I had no clue this movie even existed until friends came over and insisted we watch. They had just been shown it by another friend a few weeks prior. I don't know how to describe this movie without spoiling any of the jokes but trust me that every minute of it is a laugh and worth it.

I was relatively certain that I would enjoy this, and was not disappointed. Not only was it quite hilarious, but it even contained a few nice "plot" surprises. Peter Travers of "Rolling Stone" stated "You won't be able to wipe the smile off of your face." I agree. Hope you do too.

Horror comedies are hard to do correctly. A little too silly, or a little too much horror--the balance is hard to achieve. What We Do in the Shadows finds that balance perfectly. Often the humor and horrors are happening at once, but they are always effective.

Oh man I love this movie. I believe I've seen it like 7 times now. Fantastic New Zealand cast with off the wall comedic performances. This is a must have from director Taika Waititi which btw is filming the latest Thor: Ragnarok movie. Gonna be hilarious.

Best Buy has asked me to review this twice even though it hasn't even arrived yet. Maybe they should rethink this. Luckily I already know that the movie is good.

An improvised mockumentary about a group of vampires living in New Zealand. There are plenty of extras in this release including around 30 minutes of deleted scenes as well as the original short film this movie was based on.

Witty documentary-style comedy about four vampires just doin' what they do; dealing with everyday humans, modern-day vampire hunters, fellow vamps and even werewolves and zombies. Smart, funny, and with a little heart mixed in for good measure.

I haven't laughed so hard since I saw Bernie with Jack Black. It's my kind of humor, which means it may not be for everyone. I laughed so hard that I gasped for air a few times. The blu-ray has tons of great special features. Highly recommend

Filmed as a 'mockumentary' this film follows the misadventures of some vampire flatmates. It's funny and maintains the humor throughout the movie. It'll keep you grinning and quoting it for a while after you've watched.

What We Do in the Shadows is a very funny Vampire mocumentary that looks at several vampires from different time periods living together. Trust me, it's well worth checking out! If you're a fan of faux-docs then you'll dig this one!

Don't let vampire fatigue brought on by the last several years deter you from watching What We Do In The Shadows. The movie is hilarious from start to finish, and the blu ray has lots of fun and interesting bonus features.
