This is a great dishwasher! Easy to operate, easy to install, and CLEANS well. I had a older GE before this and this Whirlpool is MUCH quieter. I haven't used the heat dry setting yet but the dishes are always dry when I go to unload it.

Ive only done a few cycles, but having replaced a 10+ year old washer, it’s an obvious upgrade. Its extremely quiet. It’s barely heard in our little 3bed house, even in the kitchen. Cleans and dries as expected and the adjustable top rack is awesome. My only complaint is the silverware bins don’t fasten or snap into place, only hang on the rail.

I love this dishwasher. It has a lot of room and has gotten my dishes sparkling clean. A complete cycle takes over 3 hours. That was a surprise to me, although I've been told this is standard with energy-saving dishwashers.

Let me start by saying that the Maytag that was in the house when I bought it, was about 11 years old (based on the sticker on the inside of the door jamb). It finally needed a small repair, but would likely have cost us over $200 to get it fixed, so we decided to put that money toward a Black Friday special instead. We settled on this Whirlpool. We read a lot of reviews on different dish washers, and this looked like one of the best for the money. A lot of people complained that it didn't dry everything completely. But, no dish washer will do that, and that's the main complaint about most of the dishwashers anyway. If you wash plastic anything, it will likely still have water on it. Because plastic doesn't hold heat as well as glass, ceramic, or porcelain. This Whirlpool dishwasher is so much more quiet than the Maytag we had. We used to have to close the French doors to the kitchen and turn the TV up. Now we don't do either, and you can barely hear it. We also really like the clean look of the unit with the controls being on top. It does have an LED right by the handle so you can see when it's on. And you can see the timer on the top of the door. Overall, we've had it for about a month now, and it's working great.

I really like my new dishwasher it’s a lot better than my old one which was the original one that came when the house was built. It’s nice and quiet the only thing that I don’t really love about it is that it takes over three hours on a normal setting and when it dries the dishes are still wet more so than my last dishwasher but those are small things that I don’t mind too much. As long as my dishes get clean which they are.

It's nice, great machine. Best Buy geek squad sucks, very inadequate, & incompetent, didn't know how to install the machine so I did it myself. Total tech membership got me nothing but headache.

I have only used my dishwasher once so far, but the dishes came out very clean! The only downfall so far has been that it takes a long time to get done. It took over 3 hours just on the normal cycle. I do like the light on the front to let you know it is on. The only other hang up was I did have standing water in it after the first use. But it ended up being a clogged hose. It was a pain trying to get this fixed and many minutes on the phone. The customer service could of been improved, but now fixed and hopefully good for a long time!

I LOVE this dishwasher! My dishes are sparkling. I do prerinse but not prewash. Even my plastics are dry! It is much quieter than my last one. I researched until I was sick of seeing dishwashers. I have to say, I read online and compared but nothing compares to seeing and touching it in person . I had a Whirlpool and was happy with it but when the repair was half of a new washer I had to let it go. I was pretty sure I wanted another Whirlpool. I actually lucked upon a good sale on this one and never looked back.

This replaced a just over 3-year old Frigidaire model. For whatever reason, the other dishwasher we bought must’ve been a lemon. It never felt “right” and left an after-odor and just felt flimsy. This Whirlpool is the complete opposite. It is built well and looks and feels more sophisticated and refined. The racks and even silverware container is better designed. While we’ve only had it for several weeks, it has done a tremendous job and we use it daily. From baby bottles to big pans it has handled everything we’ve thrown at it. I just hope this lasts us longer than the other one did.

I bought this dishwasher to match a slide in range by Whirlpool and thought it might be a little noisy because of a few reviews but I was very pleased at how quiet it is. I can hardly hear it when running and we have an open plan kitchen, living and dining room. It also gets the dishes very clean. I started out using the full length normal wash cycle but have been using the fast, one hour wash lately. Both cycles clean dishes very well, (I do usually give things a quick rinse or very good scrape first). Will try not pre-cleaning sometime. There is one feature that I would have liked. There is no rinse and hold feature with this dishwasher, which I used on my old dishwasher. It is a minor detail and I just cancel the wash cycle if I only need a quick rinse of something. Overall; I love it
