    A Great washer

This replaced a 20-year-old Westinghouse front loading washer. The Whirlpool is a huge improvement. The tub is huge, the controls are easy to understand (other than those that control the "beeps"), its almost dead quiet, and, most importantly, clothes come out clean and almost dry, which reduces the time in the dryer. Other reviews have said that the washer is noisy, but I suspect it depends a lot on what sort of floor it is installed on. Ours is on a concrete slab which doesn't transfer any vibrations. The only "complaint" I have is that the buttons are very sensitive and just brushing up against them will cause the settings to change. Fortunately, the start button has to be held down for a few seconds so you can't accidentally start the washer. Overall, I highly recommend this Whirlpool washer.

when I had to get a new washer...I didn't know if I wanted a front load. I went to different stores who sold washers and asked several questions. one thing I got out of my research...don't buy ones with too much stuff on them ... more things to go wrong. This washer was a good value and my clothes really get cleaned. Also, very easy to use. I will buy the dryer when my dryer goes out and then stack them.

Great appliances.. very efficient.. bought the gas dryer very large and quiet.. The washer however is much louder than my previous washer which is very sad I was thinking a new model would have been much more silent.. 4 star if not for the noise would have been 5 star..

Surprisingly great! We were looking for a good machine to wash her clothes and so far it’s worked wonders. We love the easiness of the menu and the fact that it saves water and power for us.

I purchased an open box WhirlPool washer dryer set. Delivery and setup was very efficient and quick. Washer / dryer set is brand new and works great. Supposedly there is a scratch on one or both, but I haven't noticed and saved a bunch of money on this set.

I bought this Whirlpool Washing Machine for a month, and so far so good. I bought it in Nov 2016 for $549 - refund $150 from PG&E.. For the price performance point of view, I would give this washer a 5 stars. Easy to use basic model, nothing fancy, and reasonably clean after wash. The clothing dry level after wash is very good. The noise from washer is average. I was worry at first because many complaint about the noise level, but actually the noise is not that bad. Of course, all washer generated noise and this washer makes some noise, so does every washer. I had Whirlpool Duet before, and it was a bit more quiet than this model. Overall, I gave a 5 stars because for the price I paid was very reasonable for this front load washing machine. The delivery from Best Buy was very very very bad. 1st, driver was more than 1 hour passed their 4 hours window. The driver left shortly after because we disputed on the faucet condition. Driver left with the washing machine, and I have to re-scheduled for another delivery which was a week after. I wasted more than 13 hours on the delivery.

I bought the matching set of washer and dryer so this somewhat encompasses both. This is a front load washer. The buttons are on the front. You cannot, whatsoever, in any capacity, lean over this thing to reach something above in back or heck, you cannot even let a piece of fabric brush the buttons on this apparatus or your whole machine is stopped, reset, reprogrammed.....you get the point. These buttons are SOOOO touchy when you don't want them to be. Let me put it into perspective; these do not fit in the laundry closet on my second floor so the install team was nice enough to remove the doors for me. I then put up some curtains to hide the space. The curtain ever-so-slightly brushes the power button on the washer and IT STOPS! I mean like I walk by create a small breeze and wham-o....washer is reset and it does not matter what part of the cycle it is in. It's off. Since there is not a rinse only option....guess what you get to do? Yes, restart it from the beginning. Thankfully there is a quick wash cycle. The dryer is the.same.way. By the way. They are somewhat quiet but not like my old GE set. I use to have to check that to see if it was on. They are on a 2nd floor and while we do have some vibration when it is in spin cycle, it's not terrible. Now, as I mentioned above, these are rather large and due to the space requirement for the dryer....they do not allow the closet doors to be closed. So, if you are considering this set, you may want to measure your space then add however much is needed for the dryer venting. On to the good stuff. The washer works well. It's not super loud. It does it's job.

Love the capacity of this washer, can do a full size bed, quilts included, in one load! Gets cloths clean as can be. Choice of 30 minute cycle(if not supper cleaning, works like a champ), or more complex cycle for 1.5 hours. Not the most quiet machine (however, you can delay wash for sleepy time, save money and your ears), and does not completely drain, in catchall, are my only complaints. Price was right, found on sale! Gotta love Best Buy!!

This front loading machine is a SUPER value. The touch controls require just the slightest touch and respond flawlessly. The washer has great capacity and does a super job cleaning. The washer runs very quietly and the spin cycle cuts down on time the clothes need in the dryer. I am amazed at the quality and the price!

I like the different wash cycles available however the 2nd load I washed it leaked from the front door (no I didn't open it after it started). I have had front load washers for years and I have never had that problem. The trouble shooting said you need to wipe down the door every time you put in a load. I think they need to improve the seal.

I got this to replace an older 2-in-1 washer/dryer. It's good because its' about the same size as my old one, but the chamber for clothes is much bigger than my old one. It holds more clothes (almost twice as much more clothes) and is just as big. The only 2 minor things I dislike about it is that some of the profiles for washing clothes, you have to manually configure it every single time. I like to wash 30 minutes, and dry 40 minutes on low heat. You can't save that as an option. Second is that there's 2 separate power outlets. One for the dryer, one for the washer, so be aware you need 2 outlets! We had to get an electrician to install another outlet...

Washes well. Clothes are so well drained and spun it feels like the clothes are dry when it comes out of the washer. It is quiet. I don’t have anything bad to say regarding my washer.

I did quite a bit of research (consumer reports), CNET, etc. This was one of the highest rated in the segment. All has been good aside from a few bugs (load taking longer than timer says, chime led light not working). All in all it was a huge upgrade from our old ‘90s water devouring monster

Long and short of it is that this is a great washer. It cleans very well, doesn't have a ton of features that the average person will never use, and easily fits a queen size comforter. It is very quiet and faster than most high efficiency washers that I've used in the past. It's a great washer.
