The timed cycle setting will most definitely get your clothes dry. I keep mines on medium heat because I do not separate delicate clothes from rough clothes. However because I am lazy and don't separate I don't keep on high heat which I believe is the reason my clothes don't dry all the way in the energy preferred setting or very dry setting. Now if I only have a small load of clothes on medium heat on energy preferred position then they will completely dry, Its very rarely I'm drying just a small load of clothes so I typically have to run two cycles of energy preferred with big loads or just use the timed dry cycle of 75. Other than I think its a nice dryer. You can choose whether the end signals a buzz or is silent

Comparing my old dryer to this one is like going from a golf cart to a Cadillac.

I love this dryer! I researched various dryers, and ultimately took a recommendation from my father who owns two coin-operated laundromats.

The energy saving "Automatic Dry" option is a welcome feature.

I like this dryer so far. It has a larger capacity than my old one (although mine was 23 years old before it conked out, so I can't complain). I was very unhappy with the "installation, however, because they put on a vent hose that was at least 4 feet long and I only have about 8 inches from the wall vent to the back of the dryer. I mentioned to the installers how coiled up the new hose was and the fact that it was metal rather than plastic I figured it would end up getting wrecked. They said they had to use the whole hose because of liability. Well, the next day when I used my dryer for some reason I checked in the back and sure enough there was a big tear in the metal hose. I called Best Buy and explained what happened and they did refund my money for the hose, so that was good. But it was frustrating to say the least. So far, though, the dryer itself is working well. Took a little getting used to the door opening sideways instead of forward, but other than that it is a large capacity and dries the clothes pretty quickly.

I got this and the matching washer a month ago. I like the washer a lot, no complaints. This dryer is not quite as awesome. Minor problems, really; the dryness settings for automatic are touchy. You have to select very dry to get your items completely dry, regardless of load size. Also, the buzzer goes off every time the wrinkle guard setting is at rest, which is several times a cycle (you can turn the buzzer off though, just have to listen for it to be done.) Overall, though, is still recommend it based on its capacity, size, and overall features.

I purchased this dryer about 6 weeks ago. I purposely wanted something that was basic, not many bells or whistles because sometimes they are more prone to malfunction. I do have one of the newer washers, that spin clothes at a high speed to eliminate most of the water. Despite this, whenever I put a full load into the dryer, it takes more than one cycle to get the clothes dry. Even when using "high heat" and timed for 70 minutes.. Thought it might be a problem with my circuit, but the electrician I had come out said everything was normal there. Frustrating when clothes take a full cycle and a half or more to dry.

My new dryer is wonderful. I can place so many clothes in it and they all dry in a small amount of time. And I dry on medium. I only use high for towels and jeans. Great Buy. Thanks.

Cleans the clothes. I don't like that it won't fill up when the lid is open. Also u if u have a full size load u have to wash on the bulky items settings or the water level will only fill about 1/4 of the way. Overall a good washer. Quiet. Does a great job for the price

I like this dryer as it is more quite than my old dryer however I think it takes longer to dry my clothes. I would buy again along with the matching washer. The pair does a good job but could be improved for noise specifically and the amount of time it takes to run a cycle.

We love this dryer! It's large on the inside and it has a great energy preferred option to dry. Our clothes are completely dry each time. Great buy, great price, great brand!

This dryer is whisper quiet and so efficient! You don't need all the bells and whistles with this product. It does it's job excellently every time!

This dryer is great. It was affordable and high quality (higher than what I was renting). I am a recent college graduate and moved here for a job. I can't really afford one of the really cool, new technology machines, like I would LIKE to have and this one is a great machine for a great price with great features. The wrinkle shield I would say doesn't really do anything because my clothes are still wrinkled after drying, but all in all it is a great machine.

A simple dryer but has all that you need. All kinds of different settings for every type of load. Energy efficient as well.

Works well with not much noise. Strange staining of the back wall after first use but that may happen no matter what you do. I got it on sale for 379.99 before tax so not a bad deal.

When I moved into my condo in 2007, I noticed my antiquated washer and dryer unit. I told myself in the back of my mind, one day I will change them out to the latest and the greatest as they were already 22 years old. Well, this past April, my washer and dryer began to begin to do strange things with in a week of each other. My washer started to rattle loudly during the spin cycle and the dryer would take 3 cycles, each of an hour, to completely dry, even when half full. Decided to take the plunge and get a new washer and dryer for my condo. After some research, I decided on the whirlpool brand, and opted for a matching washer and dryer set. I could not be any happier with the entire experience, including installation and haul away, and my new unit. Everything was seamless and I now do look forward to doing laundry 2 - 3 times a week.
