I have only had this washer a month now but I am still in love with it. It has cute chiming sounds when pushing the settings. I would say it is decently quiet. I have mine in a laundry closet with accordion folding closet doors and you can hear it when you pass by it but it's not so loud that it is disruptive to your sleep or activities. It washes great! My previous washer was an LG that was leaving little pieces of dirt balls on my clothes, this doesn't do that of course. I have washed a large down king size comforter in it and it washed it just fine. I do prefer to use the Spin Speed setting on high. If you use the middle setting then your clothes will be soaking wet still. Unless it's a really small load of dish towels or rags. I also properly load my washer shaping the articles to be washed lining the drum. You can't just dump your clothes in or you will set loads off center.

Love my washer! It really rings out the clothes to the point wher e they feel dry as you put into dryer. Great buy. Dont listen to others works great for the money. Bought about 2 months ago have kids and a husband and 2 dogs and have washed about 50 loads and no complaints. I washed my comforter and it was unbalanced when csme time to spinning cycle it shut off so i can readjust and continued spiinnning. Was so quiet w a comforter i was amazed. Happy holidays !

Fits great in the same small space as my old washer, yet the inside capacity is twice the size. I'm also happy that is uses a lot less water.

This is a huge washer I’ve have had it for about 2 months now. and I have to Be honest I’m not sure if I have used all 26 cycles but the cycles I have used are amazing. It washed clothes really well without the agitator. The con would be that is does have a loud clicking and I don’t see a rinse and spin cycle but that could be because I’m not doing something right. This washer also has a smart sensor. I placed a large quilt in and it washed and spins just fine. Even though I thought the quilt would be too heavy. This is a good washer for a Large family. I also love the quick cycle 37 minutes clothes are washed and cleaned. Love it.

Ok first let me say that the low profile is idea for shorter people, smaller spaces, senior, disabled people, or against the wall type arrangements. This washer is very quiet as long as you balance the load and the adjustable legs are properly adjusted. This is my first agitator-less washer. If your concerned about the wash quality , don't worry this has so many setting but not too many. Some of the other brands have way too many settings for my non tech savvy family members. Also a good washer too teach children the great chore of waging their own clothes. Yes!!!!!! This was a good smart purchase.

I did a lot of research before deciding to by my Whirlpool Cabrio. I heard people say that their clothes didn't get very wet when washed and some didn't smell fresh. I don't know how that is happeneing considering the fact that the wqsher has a deep water setting for larger loads. This is the best washer I have ever owned and it works Great. It can also wash very large loads with no problem. I've washed kingsize comforters and blankets and it does an awesome job. Overall very impressed by this washer.

As long as you load all items around the tub, in a circle, everything comes out clean, nothing tangled, and damp for fast drying. Uses very little detergent, liquid works best. I was able to wash a queen-sized comforter and sheet set together with no problems.

We have now had our Whirlpool - Cabrio 4.8 Cu. Ft. 26 cycle High Efficiency Washing Machine for 5 weeks now. This is absolutely the best, easiest to use washing machine I have ever owned. Programing is a snap and the extra large stainless steel tub is ever so easy to load. The slide dispenser actually works and leaves NO residue. I absolutely LOVE this washing machine.

This washing machine is amazing and so easy to use. I went from washing one blanket at a time in my old machine to washing 3 double ones at one time. I went on a washing marathon when I first got it. I had several king size bedspreads that I had put off taking to the laundromat to use their oversized machines and washed them all in this one. I don't see why anyone has a problem using this. It is so easy as long as you follow directions.

I wasn’t sure what to think about my first HE washed but this is great. It accommodated my largest loads, but I feel better about washing smaller loads without wasting water and energy like my traditional washer. Love the softener dispenser (no build up like the agitator top of traditional washers)

I couldn't be more pleased with this washer. I was more than hesitant after reading some reviews but I'm chalking that up to misunderstanding a very different machine than previous generations of top load washers. The touch controls, yes, took some getting used to, but after giving up some control to the technology built in here, I found it out it JUST WORKS! I have done over 30 loads of laundry since this machine was installed, and I've not had one issue mentioned in some of the reviews. What's key here, I believe, is following instructions to the letter, taking some time to get acquainted with a new way of washing, and learning it's okay to not use a ton of detergent. (I CAN NOT believe how much I'm going to save on detergent btw, much less water.)

Our font loader was never cooperating so we went back to the good ol' Top loader. Clothes always smell fresh and look clean. Got the matching washer and dryer. They did not disappoint.

I replaced my fancy, stinky, otherwise effective front loader with this gem. I have washed the equivalent of 2 full loads of towels, jeans, winter coats and snow pants, mixed clothing, rugs, and dog beds in this behemoth. On its WOOL cycle, I washed a boiled wool coat with years of salt stains that our dry cleaner insisted could not be remedied. Voila, it's as clean as the day I bought it 20 years ago! No kidding. The Cabrio is nearly silent, and it spins out like a dream. Sometimes the clean clothes are barely moist! It uses a unique method to gauge how much water to use. It makes a muffled whining sound, which I liken to a scanner, then the water sort of sprays down onto the clothes rather than rushing in through a big hose. This has meant a MUCH QUIETER experience even for my daughter's room upstairs, which shares a wall with the washer inlet hose wall. We used to hear the rush of water and shudder of the valves as our old front loader switched on and off to fill and rinse. I think this Whirlpool Cabrio takes a more "thoughtful" design approach. The list of cycle options seems gratuitous until you read them and start to wonder how well you've actually been taking care of your washables. There's a ColorLast cycle that actually has preserved our many red shirts (Go, Bulldogs!) among other laundry items. I am not a big fan of the theory that one can really, really know exactly how clean clothes get, unless you're talking about stain removal (which, let's face it, has a lot to do with timing and pre-treatment products anyway), BUT I think my clothes must be cleaner since there isn't even a hint of my detergent or softener scents on my clothes, etc. afterward. Not that I'm wasting softener. I can tell it's working because the familiar dry Chicago winter static cling is absent since I bought this in December. The only caveat here is that when taking advantage of a machine that can wash larger loads, you have to consider your dryer's capacity, too. Previously, we had a double capacity washer & a triple capacity dryer. Because of that difference, the drying times almost always matched the washing times. But now with the Cabrio, which functions like a triple, you'd assume I am back to the dryer taking longer. Well, the Cabrio makes up for that annoying time gap by spinning out the loads like a boss. To wit, the digital timer on the machine is ACCURATE. If it says "22", your stuff will be done in twenty-two minutes, period. I do not hate doing laundry. But if you do, you'll be enchanted by the tones the machine makes upon pressing the selection buttons, hearing the cycle end chimes, and especially the lid-open sound when you take a load out. We say it's like angels just did our laundry, so pleasing! We bought this on sale for $450 the first weekend in December, so if you wait, it might go down in price again. I hope for your sake that $450 wasn't just a pre-holiday super special deal. Everyone else in the Chicago area wanted $550 or much more (!) at that time. Budget $30 for the *required* new attachment hoses, and $15 for responsible haul-away/recycling of your old machine.

Well for starters compared to samsung or lg this machine uses more water and electricity. Even with the first load some of the clothes were dryer than others and I think there were some legit spots that did not receive any water at all. Then to top it all off I started to get detergent stains on my clothes (I use warm water, HE detergent, and I use about half the recommended amount of detergent).

On the first load some clothes had spots that were too dry and seemed like they were not cleaned. I also use HE detergent and in smaller amounts than are recommended and with warm water, but I still get white detergent stains on my clothes. I don't feel like this washer really cleans well.

I bought this washer to replace my old agitator model. I was very hesitant at first but I made sure to read plenty reviews and do my research. The washer has a pretty good sized capacity, which was plenty more than I was used to with my old model. The first load that I washed using the standard quick setting didn't clean the clothes well. I've since learned to use the deep water setting for my lights and whites for the best cleaning. It is also fairly quiet and the digital controls are user friendly. I am pleased with this purchase... I just ordered the matching dryer so that I can dry the larger loads that this washer accommodates.

Right out of the box this machine was loud during cycles but then we EASILY ADJUSTED the legs a couple times to be more balanced then quickly it BECAME VERY QUIET! Overall it's very efficient, I do miss the option of a spin-only cycle, but with the water saving efficiency I guess the re-rinse/spin cycle is an OK option. Lastly loading clothes in a balanced fashion (because of no agitator) takes more time but this washer has never made me have to re-distribute an unbalanced load like my old one did. Overall I'm surprisingly happy with our purchase! Plus BestBuy had a great clearance sale that beat all the other Big Box Retailers of this Cabrio Washer by a mile!
