By far the best machine i have ever owned. My last washer was a front load that i had nothing but problems with from the day it was delivered, one month after the extended warranty expired the door seal failed and i had water all over my apartment. It was loud and was always out of balance no matter how large or small the load was. The repairman said the shocks were broken every time and was supposedly replaced four times. This new machine is quiet and does such a wonderful job. My son is a painter and wears painters whites all the time, since we got this machine they have never looked or smelt better.

We bought the dryer that goes with this washer a few months ago (our old dryer was dying, instead of DRY-ing). My only complaint about the washer at the time was that it was front-loading, and the door kept getting in the way because of how our laundry room is arranged. Now that Whirlpool has built an HE top-loader, I don't need a front-loader for the same efficiency. Goodbye, awkward door; hello, ease-of-loading - WITH High Efficiency. I LOVE this machine.

The machine spins the vast majority of the water out of the clothes, which is a huge improvement from our old machine. This machine takes some getting used to, though. With our old Kenmore, we could turn it on and fill the tub and then stop it to let the clothes soak for a while. I can't figure out how to do that with this one, although I haven't read the manual. I also find it strange that I can't select small, medium, or large load. Sometimes I just want to wash a handful of things and wonder if the machine is using too much water since I can't set it so a small load (unless there's a way to do it and I just haven't figured out how yet). Overall, we're very pleased with our purchase.

This dryer is so quiet, I sometimes have to check to make sure I actually turned it on. I love it! There are multiple settings to choose from, and you can control the water temp and spin speed on each wash easily. I also love the timer that let's you know how much longer your laundry will take.

I had some initial hesitation about buying a Whirlpool product, but the more that I read, we decided this was a decent washer. We couldn't be more pleased. Fast, low water use, low detergent use, very clean clothes. Quiet, self balancing, and no mechanical issues of any kind. This is a good choice for a washer, I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

After 2 other washers not working out (samsung and cheaper whirlpool) i am happy with this one. Pros: quiet Washes well Gets cloths wrung out Cons: no soak cycle or options Lots of lint

All the button choices were a bit intimidating at first, but once we got the hang of it, we loved this machine! Energy saver, loads well, and only uses the necessary water required...nice.

After reading the other reviews, we decided to go with this Washer. Be sure to watch video on how to load the washer, it's very helpful to understand a HE washer and how it works. That being said, we LOVE it! It cleans our clothes beautiful. It does have interesting sounds, but we enjoy making fun of them.

My clothes are cleaner and smell fresh. I used to have a front loading washer and my clothes seemed like they were not getting cleaned properly. My whites would come out dingy.....now they look clean and even brighter. The machine is easy to use.

This washer has been great for my family. It is large so we can do bigger loads. The lid doesn't slam down which is great. We have a three-year-old and it eases my mind to know that if he messed with it he wouldn't get his fingers smashed.

I have previously owned a Whirlpool for over 12 years and never had a problem. I purchased a new washer only to upgrade. I purchased another Whirlpool washer and so amazed with the size of the tub and all the extras.

This washer works very good. It saves on water and gets the cloths good and clean. All the different setting make for the best clean for the type of cloths your washing.

I like the design of this washer. The only drawback is there is noise based on the load. Some noise is louder than others and I sometimes have to close the laundry room door to listen to the t.v. Alarms when done, allowing you to know when to put in the next load. I like this feature.

I wanted the smaller washer and they where sold out , so I purchased this one and it was exactly what I wanted I'm glad they where sold out of the smaller one :)

I don't know anything about this washer, but my wife has not complain, and that is usually good news... Trust me!!!

I love this washer. It has a large capacity and gets my laundry very clean. I bought it after reading a number of reviews and have been very pleased.

The top loader is so much better than my old front loader. The machine is very efficient and the controls are simple to use.

This is truly a large capacity machine. It take from the largest to smallest loads and gives you really clean clothes.

My husband and I decided to replace our 23 year old Whirlpool washer and dryer. We can't believe we waited so long. This washer rocks!

Great washing machine. No complaints. The delivery, however, took forever. When shopping for a washing machine it generally means that you don't have one (working) at the time. It took Best Buy 2 weeks to deliver the washing machine one mile to my house.
