The washer works great. However, when I purchased it, I asked about buying hoses for it, and was told that I didn't need them. The hoses did not come with the washer, so when the delivery crew came to install it, they were unable to do so. I then had to purchase the hoses and install the washer myself, which was not difficult, but it should have been taken care of in the beginning.

This is our third Cabrio. My wife is a quilter and we have a king-size bed. A quilt for the bed is BIG. This washer takes the quilt with no problem which is the main thing we look for in a washer. You do have to be careful to evenly distribute a large load so you don't get an unbalanced load. The one thing that I would strongly recommend is you buy the extended warranty if your are going to be washing large, heavy loads regularly. It's well worth the price to have the Geek Squad come out and service your washer periodically at no change.

We bought this machine because we knew Whirlpool has been around a long time and thought it would last a while. In less than a month we already had to call Geek Squad to come repair. The electronics inside were fried and took 2 trips and a week later to get repaired. It was covered under warranty so we didnt pay anything. Things have too much electronics inside now a days and I think thats the problem. So don't know if we just had some bad luck or got a bad machine. Hopefully this thing will last a while now.

First of all, before writing anything else let me start by letting you all know we are a family of 7. And with that, this washer is a big important piece of the family. In fact, this is our second Cabrio washer. Our first Cabrio washer did last us 6-7+ years. To some people that might not seem to have lasted very long, but that washer was used everyday for that number of years. Yea, we had 1 problem (the "shocks" gave out due to normal wear & tear) and called up the extended warranty people. They came by the house. They new exactly what it was and got it fixed quickly. Before buying our second Cabrio, we noticed that the machine was starting to hum louder than usually on the spin cycle. We agreed that it was due to more normal wear and tear, and decide it was time to replace it with a new washer. We looked around at other models and brands. Then we decide on this new HE top loading washer with a lot of features. Another reason we went with this one was pricing....we got it on a pretty good sale price (that made it a sweeter deal).

First off when we were looking for washer and dryer, we originally had Whirlpool and all the appliances in our new house were Whirlpool we never have had a bad experience with them as far as customer service or the products. We read reviews and decided on these. We looked at all the other stores and Best Buy was the cheapest. These retailed for $899 each and we bought the floor models for $699 each and also Best Buy was running a promotion that all sale appliances were an additional 15% off. We ended up getting the washer and dryer and all the hookups and install and delivery for about $1200. They seem to get clothes pretty clean, and the best feature is that both units sense when clothes or dry or clothes are clean and adjust the cycle accordingly. This is a great feature and is very Eco-friendly. Thanks for best buy for a great product and a great deal.

Nice concept but design seems to have limitations as to how deeply it can clean. The features are great and it is built extremely well. It usually works ok but a few times the clothes were not clean. You have use twice the amount of detergent to get the clothes to smell fresh. Nice unit but I wish I would have gotten something else.

Overall not a bad washer. Best buy delivery people were super nice. Actually called and asked if they could come a little early which was a great bonus for me since I had been without a washer for a week.

So far the machine is performing as advertised. The clothes come out clean, which is the whole purpose. Cannot say about reliability or savings as I have only been using it for a short time.

Was in the market for a new washer and dryer and the salesman showed me this set that was on clearance and about 1/2 the original cost. Other than having an issue with the store not getting it to the delivery company and therefore postponing my delivery by a few additional days, the washer itself it great. Never had one with so many bells and whistles. So far its wonderful, have washed comforters, blankets, and regular clothes with no issues. Very happy!!

This is a great top load machine. Whirlpool has good dependable machines.This machine has an extra large capacity drum which is great for homes with many people. Would recommend!

Overall I like this machine. It does make unusual sounds when it runs, but they are not loud and I think that is just part of the way the machine works. Kind of sounds like a quiet spaceship. It seems to do a good job getting my clothes clean. The machine is taller than my old machine and current dryer, but the style is attractive. I kind of wish I had gotten the model that had a clear lid. With all the sounds I would love to know what was going on in there. It cost extra though, so I didn't.

This machine is great and is clean my clothes for four years and it is finally just started leaking water everywhere good thing I got a warrantee so make sure you get one

Looks like a lot of mixed reviews thus far from others. I decided to ignore others experiences and go for it. Very happy with this washer. It has a massive capacity and everything we have washed to date has come out clean and ready to dry. The fast spinning pretty much dries the clothes to the dry time is much shorter. The cycles due take a while when using the ECO boost but this has not caused us any issues. Only a month into using it but so far, so good.

This is an excellent washer. This washer can handle comforters and lots of jeans without becoming unbalanced.

It is way too large and it's size makes it hard to use it under an overhead cabinet. The lid is the entire top of the machine unlike the old ones so it bumps the cabinet door and you can't open cabinet when washer is open. Poor design on their part given most laundry rooms have cabinets. also I really miss having a stain treat cycle,

No complaints, so far. I bought this to replace my old Maytag. The cycles run longer, but use less water. Great efficiency.

We got this machine on sale, and the large capacity, and low noise, as well as energy efficiency are awesome.

I waited to review until I used this washer for a couple months. The low water took some getting use to and I had to switch from Downey ball to dryer sheets because it rinses and spins so well I believe it spins the Downey right out! But worth the change.

Had 3 years of problems with a well known brand front load washing machine. Finally had it replaced under the lemon law through best buy, extended warranty was best thing we ever purchased and the only thing that saved us. Washer is made in USA, which means if it does break in the future, people will actually be able to fix it with parts readily available.

This is the first eco friendly washer we have purchased. It is much different and if you are waiting for the water to fill up...well..it wont. It is a different way of doing things so it takes some adjustment. Do not use regular detergent as it will clog the machine.
