    Great Washer

Our washer went out Thanksgiving night and the dryer was right behind it. My daughter in law hopped in the car and went to Best Buy. I hate shopping and can't believe I got in that crowd. But the sales lady was great from beginning to end. And the washer and dryer are the bomb, love both of them. And it just so happens we were moving into a new house 1 week after they were delivered. New appliances just added to our new home.

    I love this washer

My husband does the laundry and he picked this washer because it doesn't have the spindle in the middle. One day, as he was unloading the washer, I hear him say "I love this washer." Specifically, he loves the fact that small things don't get stuck under the spinner at the bottom. The only complaint we have is that it is a little noisy when shifting cycles.

    Whirlpool Washer

I love my new washer. It is easy to use and takes less time than my old whirlpool. I was thinking when I ordered it that it would be nice not to have an agitator in the new one. To my surprise, when it arrived it did not have an agitator. This makes room for more clothes. The down side is that , the balance gets off at times and you have to stop it to rearrange the clothes. The spin cycle is noisy until the load balances. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

    Length of time

I purchased it because of larger space inside and great reviews, but I really should have asked the saleswoman questions. I admit I glanced at the instructions at first and when I couldn't figure out why it took so long to start and it wouldn't fill with water all at once either I sat and read the instructions from cover to cover but even like that I wasn't convinced. So I looked up Youtube videos on it and everyone had great comments over it. Most videos shows its entire process (loved that, thank you). Honestly I can't understand how it cleans so well, with such little water and spinning/movement. But clothing does seem to be very clean and fresh. Still wished it wouldn't take so long to calibrate and fill. In some cases it takes an hour to do a load or it doesn't seem to do too much action in washing in certain cycles. Mixed feelings about it. It seems to do it's job but honestly it takes too long. Hopefully I can get more familiar with it soon and have it run the way I would like it to run. Oh and it doesn't give me the option to let my towels soak overnight without it draining the water after 10 minutes even when I cancel it it drains it out immediately. I like to soak them every so often with vinegar for freshness but it won't allow me to. I hope to figure that out too.

Since this is my first experience with this type of washing machine, I am still getting to know how to best use it. It seems rather easy to use. So far no problems. I am short and it is easier to take the closes out with out the center agitator.

I really like having an energy efficient washer. It holds a lot of clothes and has a lot of cycles to choose from. The only negative is when it is sensing the load size it makes very loud banging noises but I really like the performance.

I love my new washer. I have had only one problem so far. When I washed a load of sheets one of the sheets somehow ended up over the agitator and the middle of the sheet came out of the wash still dry. Other than that it is a great machine.

I specifically wanted a washer that did not have a middle agitator so that I could wash pillows and comforters. I bought a new comforter and tried to wash it in my old washer but it got hung up on the agitator during washing and tore it beyond repair. I haven't washed my new comforter yet in this new washer but I have washed my king sized sheets, a king sized pillow and a regular sized pillow all at the same time! Everything smells fresh and the best part is that the pillows are not all bent out of shape! Works great on clothes and towels too!

    Washes quick

Wash cycles are quick. It seems to wash well, It does seem to leave a lot of lint on clothes, so if they are not dried in the dryer we need to use a lint roller. It spins a lot of the water out of the clothes so they come out pretty dry. We haven't used it a lot yet, but hopefully it holds up.

The Whirlpool washer provides efficiency which supports ecology. There is a variety of choices for the temperature of water, which also saves. I like this product extremely well. However, can't you ever make a product that is quiet. This one is extremely loud.

    Great machine, gets clothes clean

This machine is a great buy! Gets clothes clean, but would not want to have it right next to or above where i sleep, if you plan on using it during your sleep hours. A little noisy at first and on spin cycle. Its a little rough on delicate items, but no more than an agitator model. And yes, you can "pause" it, thus allowing you to add anything to the load. (a piece of clothing, towel, etc.) Uses ALOT less water and detergent. Takes about 45-50 minutes to wash a regular load of clothes, which is a little longer than the old school washing machines. It is a little deeper than old machine, but I can still reach clothes on bottom. Make sure you use HP detergent, (dosent cost anymore than regular, and you use alot less) and follow directions on detergent amout on container and machine. Had this new machine about 2 months, very happy with it so far. Just makes different noises. It does have a "Quick Wash" cycle for small loads..takes about 30 minutes. The lid when raised, does not have any kind of "stop", and rests on control dials. I keep a regular sponge on top right side of machine, keeping lid from resting on top control dials when lid is open. I would reccomend this machine.

this was a great deal...got alot in rebates from LA county. but since its energy saving it takes a LONG time to wash clothes. I guess its not that big of a deal but jst be ready for a longggg washing cycle. saves money on our DWP bill though.

The washer does a great job cleaning clothes, clearly uses less water than the unit it replaced, and doesn't seem to have the unbalanced wobbling problems. Definitely follow the instructions of the owner's manual and allow the unit to calibrate its water usage before you wash your first load of clothes.

With all the bad reviews I wasn't sure if the washer would work but knew could get a refund if it didn't. So far it has been a great washer yes a little noisy at times but overall am completely satisfied.

After putting it in (and learning that it will not work unless level) I relly found it worked great. It senses the load sizes itself so I don't have to set it and only uses the amout of water it needs for the load, I'm always doing laundry and I noticed my water bill went down because of this. This is a great machine.

Nothing spectacular, just standard workhorse machine. Has some issues with heavier clothes in that you have to be careful how you balance it. Other than that I'm satisfied with what I got but not amazed.

quality product, starts a little noisy but finishes quietly, it accommodated a heavy quilt and the washing machine did not move around the laundry room from the heavy load, which I really appreciated. Best purchase I made all year. High efficiency machine so it doesn't require a lot of water which is a plus.

This washer gets the job done but you have to get used to the weird noises that sound like it's either broken, just broke, or like it will break any minute. Nice stainless drum sides.

    Love the dials

I originally bought a samsung but it wouldn't dispense the softener correctly and samsung couldn't fix it, so they issued a return. I decided on this one because of the dials, quite frankly. And it doesn't have a fabric softener to break. It is a little louder, but I realized I like that since I like to keep my ear tuned to the washer when it's on. having dials instead of electronic buttons is nice, even for a computer techie like me. I find it washes well, although I always use the soak feature. It has a "high water" setting, but I've found it doesn't really fill it much more. But so far it's working well. It also doesn't "error out" like the electronic samsung did in the middle of a cycle. I really like the dials. Sometimes the old way to do it is still the best.
