After much research, and watching online reviews My family and I settled on the litter robot 3. We followed the instructions to acclimate the cat to the litter robot, and within one day he had transitioned from his normal litter box to the robot. I haven't had to scoop the cat box since, and that was worth every penny of the investment. The app is great as it tells you when the box is getting full, it's very easy to change out, it stays very clean. I took the suggestion of the recommended clumping/easy slide litter and have had zero issues. One of the things mentioned in a few of the online reviews was the noise. I do not find it to be that noisy. I do work in a mechanical industry, have 3D printers etc so to me the noise level does not seem that high, or annoying. I asked my youngest child who is a little sensitive to noise what he thought and he did not seem to think it was too loud either. It seems a little expensive when looking at the overall dollar, but for the ease of maintaining that chore, lack of overall odor, information the app provides you and ease of cleaning I feel it is worth the investment.

Awesome, made my life way easier. Worth the investment especially if you have more than one cat. Saves you so much time.

Took forever to get it connected to Wi-Fi The robot doesn't like when you have a weird Wi-Fi name and no where does The paper work say that. It gets full too fast and scared cats hate it. Any cats that doesn't like new things hate it so we are still using 2 car litter boxes . And it pops off craxy and doesn't warn you there is a problem. Plastic used isn't good plastic

Shipment time was incorrect, but the litter robot works great and my cats love it. I love not having to scoop every day and I love that the robot tells me when its been used and when the drawer is full. I left the robot "off" for about a week until the cats got used to it, and ran it ad-hoc. I forced the cats to go in there at first and gave them a treat afterward. They warmed up to it quickly.

I purchased a NEW unit. It recieved a pre-owned unit that was dusty in the outside, and even worse it had remnants of old cat litter. This was not a “lightly” used item. The smell from clearly years of use stunk up the entire room. Trying to avoid the hassell if a return I vacuumed out the old litter nd took a damp rag to the interior and exterior of the unit. However when i turned on the unit, the only thing that happened was the yellow cycle light flashed rapidly. Regardless of whether it worked or not i was going to have to return because of the smell. When i returned the product to the best buy store, the store manager said the only thing he could do was issue a refund or replacement. Turned out the only in stock item was the litter robot 4. So instead of getting the product i wanted, i ended up paying $150 more for a product i didnt want upon my initial order. Extremly turned off by the experince. In the future i would recommend purching directly from the manufacture’s site.

I love my litter Robot, I now have 2 of these, one is 4 years old and still working and just got my second one, as I have 3 lg cats. I just really wish that they weren't so expensive!

Love this so far. It was so easy to get set up. So far it is working wonderfully. It is quiet. Love the night light. Cat took to it immediately. And my son loves that he gets notifications when it’s used.

I love the idea of the litter robot and the convenience of not having to scoop. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of my past experience with the robot. The one purchased from BestBuy has been awesome. Previous one was purchased directly from Litter Robot and was replaced by them twice during the warranty period due to constant error messages that could not be cleared. I followed the instructions on cleaning & maintenance but the errors would always occur to the point the robot would not function. Even though I was consistently having the issue, once warranty was over they were no help. I want to note that they only replaced the covered litter bot itself and not the base. I requested the base be replaced after the second replacement and was told that wasn't necessary even though I thought it wasn't connecting to the base correctly. I'm hoping to have a different experience going through BestBuy and purchasing their warranty. So far so good.

Wish we purchased years ago! It is amazing and only having to empty litter box once per week is so worth it. The savings in cat litter will pay for itself easily.

This was a complete waste of money. The cycle gets stuck every single time ots used. i constantly have to push the top back in because it pops out of the socket every time it cycles. Ive had this less than six months and it smells awful. The Rubber liner holds the Urine smell and it is very difficult to clean out, Impossible actually. Completely regret this purchase. onpy reason it hasnt gone in the dumpster yet is because i spent ao much money on it, and its enourmouse.

Works well. Fairly quiet. Easy to set up. I love the app.

One of the nicest cat boxes I’ve ever purchased. Makes clean-up so much easier, and you can’t smell the box, anymore! I keep mine in my closet in my bedroom and its system is near-silent. I like the ability to turn the internal light off, as well, because I can’t sleep with any lights on. Only a 1 cat household but would definitely be able to manage more!

We like it!! Keeps us from having to clean the litter boxes daily. Now we just wipe down the inside every couple of weeks. One down side is that the app was difficult to set up.

This litter box has been great. Other then the fact that the hood pops out on its own causing a what they call pinch. This causes the box to stop its cycle and stay open. I have had the box for a year now and still love it and will be purchasing the series 4

I have 2 cats, I chose the option to spin every 15 minutes, seems to be a waste of liter to spin every 3 minutes. Also cleaning it out every 2-3 days with how much they use it. I have to take more actions with Oder control since the robot is more open than the old liter box I was using. Wish the base was a little bigger, my cats seem to urinate and poop on the sides of the robot than in the actual liter. Adding more liter doesn’t fix this problem. My cats took only about a week to get acclimated, they come running every time it does a spin cycle to watch it, sometimes stepping onto or into the robot and causing it to stop, so hit or miss if the cycle isn’t inturrupted.

Fundamentally, the concept of a robot that will sift your cats waist and dump it into a tray sounds great. After using it for almost a week, we noticed three major flaws. **The app, despite my son’s attempts x 10 to set up the app, (and he is a former Geek Squad repair agent/manager), he was never able to get it to work. I tried on my Apple device, thinking it might be an Android issue, but to no avail. ** Second - It’s great that this robot sifts the waist and dumps it into drawer, but then the stink begins… Cats bury their waist so it won’t smell, and when you ‘un-bury’ it and put it into a drawer, it quickly becomes smelly again. The way they set up the tray, it is not sealed, so the smell takes over whatever room it is in. Disgusting. Because we could not get the app installed to schedule a once a day or manual sift, it simply went to default mode, which sits the waist every time the cat goes to the bathroom. Not good! **Third, the tray limits you to only bags that you have to purchase on a regular basis from this company. It doesn’t twist the bag, seal the bag, but just adds more plastic to the environment. What a gimic. We will be returning this piece of junk. In my economy, because this contraption cost over $600, it should do everything it says, to perfection! I am not about to spend $800 on the newest version. We’re finished with these poop robots, and going back to the good old-fashioned way…scooping the poop ourselves.

This is definitely worth the money. I’ve had it for over a month and it is excellent. I have 2 cats and I change out the bag every 5-6 days. You can use regular 13 gallon trash bags instead of the expensive liners they try to sell you. It’s pretty quiet while operating and it has a lot of features through the app. I would absolutely recommend this product.

It is truely an amazing upgrade to cat ownership. I highly recommend anyone whos looking into getting a litterbox robot to take the dive. Its seriously worth it!

Love love love this!! I’m able to empty the bag from the bottom like 1 maybe 2 times a week. I don’t smell the litter, my cats adjusted to it super easy!
