    The agent connected and installed my outdoor camera. The agent was very knowledgeable about the type of device I purchased. He arrived on time for my appointment and gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was in route. I really appreciate the courtesy call and that gives me the time to be prepared. The agent was also able to answer questions for other devices to connect to the camera that would give me more security as well. He actually showed me the device item on the Best Buy app and how it works with my device. He also suggested the best place to install the device. I appreciate the agent being very thorough. Great experience.

    The technician CJ did a good job of placing my cameras, and adjusting them so that they would give me the best possible coverage. He also explained the operation. Very professional and knowledgeable.

    My experience with the Geek Squad, in particular Anthony, was outstanding from the beginning of the installation of the Lorex Home Center and two cameras to its' completion. Anthony arrived on time as scheduled. He explained the process involved in setting up the the monitor and cameras. We discussed the location of the monitor and cameras deciding on which was best for our use. Additionally, he took his time to explain the nature of some of the features we were not sure of. He offered his cell number for us to call him if we had questions regarding the Lorex Home Center. Anthony's pleasant and friendly manner made for an outstanding experience. The icing on the cake was the actual operation of the Lorex Home Center which exceeded our expectations, easy to operate and great pictures. It was an overall positive experience.

    The guys from Geek Squad were fabulous absolute five star top notch subject matter experts I do apologize but it's been a few weeks now and I've already done one survey now I can't remember their names I think it was Frankie and there was one other one they were fabulous absolutely the reason why I would go nowhere else for my technical needs but to call the Geek Squad is because of how good they were it was so easy for them that they actually made it easy for me and now I know how to work all my cameras

    David came out to my house and carefully charged, paired up the device and answered all of my questions along the way. Went outside to mount it on my house and showed me where the video was on my cell phone. I picked David because he came out to my house to do another job. I knew I could communicate with him because he was very patient. Great job David.

    Tim and his partner came out to my house and installed my equipment. He was quick, professional and friendly. Left his information in case he has to come back and help out with my camera, like replace a battery. Thanks Geek squad

    One camera is placed well... The other , for me, is too high. I need a ladder. This is only a problem because when there is snow.. I won't be using a ladder, so the camera can't be recharged. They did check to see that it would cover the area that needed to be viewed with the cam. They also leveled it. Anchors were not used in siding??? It seems it should have happened, but I'm not a professional, and am not positive. Be aware that If the cameras are delivered just before, or arrive with the installers, you will need to take them back down, and charge ( a day between the two). So it is best to pay and carry them out yourself . ( lightweight, but pushed to be on arrival), so that you can -recharge them. You will need to change them out to be recharged in the upcoming months.. Installers took care with items, but appeared to be new to the Ring setup If you can handle a drill, climb 3 steps on a level, know how to use a level... you could do it yourself. It is helpful, if not.

    PICTURE QUALITY IS VERY GOOD. EASY TO USE. IT TAKES A FEW SECONDS TO REACH YOUR MOBILE DEVICE. I HAVEN'T HAD IT LONG ENOUGH TO RATE THE BATTERY LIFE.

    We purchased 2 ring outdoor security cam’s. They are simple enough to install but the installation was included so since I am disabled and my husband still works outside the home I chose to have them installed by their team and it was fast, perfect placement and my service team was awesome!! They were friendly, knowledgeable and got it done quickly and safely. I’d recommend The Geek Squad for any electronic install. Thank you for such a fabulous job getting our home security cam’s up and running so quickly!!

    bella and hunter were amazing at installing my ring cameras! i’ve had a security issue and they were so helpful with placing the cameras exactly where i needed and being there to help me with any questions i had. i never ever write reviews but i was amazed by their work ethic! they’ve given me a sense of security and my life back, i’ll never be able to thank them enough.

    I never used GeekSquad to install anything. I decided to pay the $100 to get it done by them because of time and money. I bought cameras to get installed. Now, I installed them in the past and they were easy, but it took time and multiple trips and extra purchases because I didn't have the right drill. I am short and the ladder isn' as tall. It literally took the guy a fraction of the time it would've taken me to install everything. He answered all my questions, and made sure I knew not only how to use the app, but the most efficient and safest way to get to the cameras if I ever need to.

    The gentleman who came out was very professional and had a lot of knowledge about the Arlo Security System. As he installed my system, I was asking questions. Throughout the process and he did not hesitate to answer any of my questions. When he had finished, he showed me the setup on my phone and still continued to answer my questions. Great job Geek Squad and great customer service from this gentleman

    Some issues on Security Camera Install

    On 3/16/20 a member of the Geek Squad came out for the install of two Ring Stickup cameras and a solar panel The front camera would not connect to the web through my router, but the rear camera did, although the video was upside down. The installer did not have a way to measure signal strength but was convinced that WiFi strength was the problem on the front camera. The rear camera did connect but as the video was upside down and needed a new bracket (not mentioned when we ordered the product) and in a short time it would no longer sense motion alerts. The Best Buy advisor and installer were convinced we needed a new mesh router, which we ordered through him. It turns out Best Buy does not stock the bracket needed to have the video come out right side up, so we had to order that with Ring. Best Buy then would come out and install the new bracket for free. While waiting for the new router to come in I charged up the spare battery and changed out the one in the front camera. Since then the camera is working. The problem was low battery, not low signal strength. We have received the Ring bracket and called the Geek Squad on 3/20/20 to arrange for a reinstall on the rear camera. They are scheduled to come out is on 5/1/20. So in short I ordered two cameras of which neither worked correctly. Needed a bracket to correct one issue that Best Buy did not carry and ordered a router that I returned as a charged battery has fixed the original issue. The Geek squad came out today 5/1/2020 and put the new bracket on the back camera. Both cameras are working now.

    He called the day before and arrived on time the day of the appointment. I wish I had thought to charge both batteries prior to the day of installation. The installation went quickly.

    The indoor cameras which I purchased. You have been excellent picture and was very well set up with the technician at my home. He did take the time to be sure it was installed properly to my phones and computer was impressed with that technician. However, he did try to make appointment for me for my outdoor cameras to get proper materials to do the job but still working on that for some reason it has gotten twisted around and I do not believe it was his fault. I do believe that was lack of communication from other employees from Best Buy will be addressing it sometime in January. If they cannot resolve that I will look elsewhere to have job done

    Jim the installer was great! Quick, efficient, and really knew his stuff. The problem was they didn't let me take unit with me. They kept it and gave it to the installer to deliver at time of install. This meant the battery wasn't charged. It was at 28% at time of install. I bought a solar panel to be installed at the same time, and that didn't do a very good job. So now I had to buy a second battery, and get up on the ladder to install it because the battery went all the way down to 5% because the solar panel doesn't do a great job. None of this is the installers fault, he was great. The fact they wouldn't let me take the unit home to charge the battery before the installer came was incredibly frustrating. I should add that I have a leg injury so that is why I wanted to installer to come so I could avoid going up the ladder. So much for that. . .
