Lots of action, but might be a bit shocking and violent for younger viewers. Great acting .Based on real events during WWII.

This is a very good dramatization of who the Code Talkers were and how they helped the U.S win the war in the Pacific during WW2. It's not a well known fact that the U.S. Army reached out to Native America to create a code based on their language that the Japanese could not break. It's especially poignent as the last Code Talker just passed away this year. They did a Great Service for the U.S even after how the U.S. and the Army treated them for hundreds of years. The story has it's high points and low points and some of it is very stylized for the U.S. audience. It does in fact show what they went through and the lengths, the sacrifice that these brave men lived through to not give up their code.

The Blu-ray provided an excellent picture & sound. This movie tells the story of two men in war. One is a Navajo code talker and the other is the Marine assigned to protect him and the code. The battleground is in the Pacific in World War II and the U.S.M.C. is using a code based on the Navajo language and the Japanese are desperate to break the code. This movie is better than the critics reviews.

a fresh take take on world war 2, through the eyes of a Navajo code talker (who is played by the very underrate actor Adam Beach) I'd say Windtalkers is definitely a movie that fans of the genres should have in their collection.

I am a World War II history buff. Love books on the subject, particularly those from the soldiers point of view. Typical Hollywood overly dramatic telling of the Windtalker story, but fun nonetheless. Word of caution: the extended edition is in lossy audio only!

The horrors that generation faced in the second world war. Thank goodness we won. Movie is based on important part of history. Enjoy.

This is the only WWII film I can think of which concentrates on the US Marine Corps. All the other WWII films such as Saving Private Ryan plus Hacksaw Ridge concentrate on the US Army.

So many secrets during war and now one comes out. At first it is hard to believe another Marine would agree to take another Marine's life, if necessary. But once you see the movie you will understand why.

Good movie loosely based on true events. Watch it for entertainment, not as a true history lesson.

The associates were great and they help me to receive the movie "Wind Talkers" The show makes you stop and think how our American solders fought and died for our freedom. Everyone should see this movie

Great war movie that tells a heroic story I never knew anything about. Glad to have it in my collection.

This blu-ray from MVD has better video quality than the first blu-ray release. I’d definitely recommend getting this one.

This is a great war movie. The windtalkers were very helpful during the war. This movie is worth watching many times over.

Neglected John Woo WWII opus. Not without problems but succeeds where Woo is strongest.

I like WW2 and had seen this movie before on DVD and found it in Blu Ray and had to buy it.
