I'm very pleased with the ease of setting up this antenna and the clear channels it provides. Now I can really say good bye to cable!

This indoor antenna is used in a rural area of Iowa. According to antenna web, we should get only five stations. But the Winegard amplified antenna reaches three CBS stations, two ABC stations and five PBS stations in southern Minnesota and North Iowa. The antenna was simple to set up, is attractive, and works great.

Easy to set up, if your tv has a usb port you can plug in into your tv to power it or it comes with an AC adapter and a short USB cable. Within 5 minutes of opening the box, it was set up, tv scanned, and over 140 channels found. My old $10 got maybe 5 and those were sketchy. Mind you most of those 140 stations are foreign language, but i get ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, & KCAL flawlessly in a downstairs living room and upstairs bedroom. Very happy.

I'd gotten rid of cable years ago, but still wished I had the ability to watch the news in the morning and the occasional live tv event. For less than the cost of one month of a cable subscription, I purchased this antenna that has given me access to all the channels I need for my basic viewing needs. It is super thin, easy to put up, and, most importantly, it works! With this antenna, combined with the functions and apps of my SmartTV, I never go into work feeling uninformed about something my coworkers saw on TV.

I get more channels than I thought. The pictures are of better quality than with my cable. Use it on the first floor of a rural location. Works great.

Was surprised at how well the wineguard antena worked. Easy set up . Long cord which is beneficial to me. Only complaint is the stickems. Had to get different ones. Picked up 12 statioms verses 8 from other antenas.

My husband and I decided to ditch cable- the provider we have in NJ charges $165 price tag for just basic with Internet. Bought a smart TV, Netflix and this antenna. Picture is crystal clear on all channels!! The first day there was a little static, I played with the location of the antenna a bit and that was it- super easy! Only took 10 mins to install too. I am very pleased. We do live only 10 miles from Philadelphia so for those that live far from broadcasting towers you might want to do your research, but we are extremely pleased!

Easy installation. Gets great reception. We are thrilled with being able to watch TV without suffering with cable. Get many stations - some of which aren't even available via cable. We were able to split the signal from the antenna through preexisting cable wiring in the house so one antenna can provide signal for multiple tvs. Low profile of antenna made it easy to conceal behind tv.

Our 15 year old tv having recently given up the ghost we bought a new Smart Tv and decided to see if the digital tv would provide better reception. So I bought a relatively cheap antenna as a trial. Was able to get 23 channels from 12 stations in the Pittsburgh Pa area, from 5-20 miles away. Although several are shopping/religious channels I still had 16 local channels to choose from although a couple did drop out at times the 4 main network stations were solid with clear reception. Decided to try this amplified antenna and we now get 17 stations and 34 channels in the same location although some of the new ones do drop out at times and a couple are duplicate programming. The ones that were dropping out on the other antenna seem to be more stable now. As AntennaWeb.org only reports 18 stations and 37 channels available at my location I would not gain much by going with an outside antenna as the station/channels I am missing is 40 miles away and is actually duplicate networks. So we get the news and enough variety to get by and with the $100 savings from dropping the cable the wife is looking at some of the streaming options available on our new tv.

    Most impressive indoor antenna

We had tried 2 other comparable powered antennas and this one was the best. We wanted a flat antenna that could be totally concealed behind our wall mounted tv and this was able to get all but one of our channels whereas the others were only able to get only a few. In order to get all our local channels the antenna had to be placed just slightly in view which ultimately led us to going with an outdoor antenna. However, with all things considered this was by far the best indoor antenna we tried hands-down.

Does exactly what it supposed to do. All the local channels are available for free. Some of them are HD and I was surprised by the quality of the image. As good as the channels I was previously paying for to Optimum (the worst cable company). Highly recommended. Just keep in mind that it all depends of your location and the distance from the broadcast towers. I live in the Bronx, and I have no problem accessing all the channels broadcasting from NYC and some NJ area. I installed the antenna in the window and the cable the comes with it was too short to reach my TV, so I am also using an extension cable. There is no loss of signal or image quality while using the extension cable.

I live in central Phoenix and didn't want to get cable having just moved here, but wanted to be able to get some local channels for news and sports. The setup on this product was extremely easy - open the box, screw the coax cable into my tv, plug in the USB to power it (you can also plug it into an outlet), and let your tv start searching. A lot of the channels aren't really worth much, but to get local channels it was definitely worth it.

I got this because we cut cable. I only wanted to receive 4 major broadcast channels but got more than I need. I receive about 20+ channels in the New Orleans area. I think the picture might actually be better than when i had cable.

    Good internal HDTV antenna

This was the best of three internal HDTV antennas tried. I was able to pick up more stations with better quality than with the other models. As I experienced pixelation in windy, rainy weather I returned the product with no hassle and purchased a more powerful attic mounted antenna.

I bought a RCA rabbit ear antenna that did not work very well. I had to move the ears depending on which station I wanted to watch. I bought this one, mounted it on a wall and I get every station without having to move it. I admit I was sceptical but I am very pleasantly surprised. Costs a little more but well worth it. On a cloudy day, I was able to scan and receive 26 channels. I'll have to scan on a sunny day and see what channels can be received. Overall, this is a great antenna and I don't have a $53.00 Bill anymore for satellite.

I was not expecting a lot from an indoor antenna living approximately 30 miles from one of our local channels. I attached with the provided equipment about 4ft above the TV and have all locals and at least 22 more over the air channels that are very clear. Very impressed and a Great alternative to cable.

The Winegard antenna is small and comes with wires long enough to place it in an area for the best reception but also mostly out of sight. I use it in a rural area on an old TV through a digital decoder we got back when the switch from the analog signal was made. We currently get 13 stations of great quality, we used to get 8 of fair quality.
