I love the concept and if a few bugs get ironed out this watch will get 5 stars.
First, the design is great. For people like me, who don’t like little square computers or smartwatches on their wrist, this is by far the most attractive solution.
The watch does a decent job and looks great. It also has a clinical certification for SPO2 and EGC. That means, you will not be able to use the feature right out of the box, but need medical prescription. The app handles that automatically and within a day you can use the feature. It’s just a little awkward that someone in a medical center reviews your first egc and approves it.
The problems are more subtle. From time to time the watch records workouts when there are none. That is not a big deal but raises questions about general accuracy.
Biggest problems I have are with the app. For sleep tracking, I do not wear this watch. It is too big on the writs for that and just annoying when the OLED flashes in the middle of the night. I have a different sleep tracker for that. Unfortunately the app does not allow to import sleep data from Health or the other device directly, so your health picture is incomplete.
While I love the subtle vibrations on notifications, the alarm to wake up when you have a light sleep phase is not strong enough. Also some notifications are constantly repeated, even when I clear them on the phone. So you get buzzed constantly over a reminder that already complete.
The glass is very glossy and in combination with the black face sometimes hard to read.
So it’s the little things that prevent a fifth star. Hope they solve them soon

After owning a smartwatch for a couple years I gotta say a hybrid smartwatch is on another level. Battery lasts for a month as advertised, it has a heart rate, blood oxygen, and ECG sensors like a top of the line you find in an expensive smartwatches.
The glass is made out of Sapphire crystal which you don't find on other smartwatches for $300.

I really wanted to like the Withings Scanwatch. From an aesthetics standpoint, the device is one of the best looking (if not the best) devices on the market. Additionally, the inclusion of the fda approved SpO2 and ECG functionally is great! Unfortunately, I am a little concerned about some of the accuracy surrounding the HR data. For example, sitting still one day, my HR recorded by the device shot up while my body was at rest well over 120 bpm (my resting HR is usually between 50-60). There was no rhyme or reason for this, and my HR quickly settled on the watch, but the blip is forever “locked” in the Withings app where I can’t delete that recording. I have seen similar reports of users having unexplained odd spikes and dips while recording workouts which gives me some pause. Additionally, HR data is only captured once every 10 mins by design, which could lead to similarly skewed data.
Overall, I would recommend the device for someone who is comfortable in using the device as a very general indication of overall health, however I believe that there are other products in this price range that produce more reliable data.

It is a beautiful (probably most attractive fitness watch) stylish watch with minimalistic design. The build quality is excellent and the strap is comfortable to wear it for long period of times without any discomfort. It has a traditional classic round watch look with mechanical dials. The upper half of the watch has a digital screen to show the menu, settings and battery life etc. The hands have glow in the dark feature. Also, the digital screen has a wake up feature and displays the time when you move your wrist/arm.
The battery life is amazing. It easily lasts for 30 days on a single full charge. The bluetooth connectivity with the phone is a nice feature. The health app is decent. It can also provide notifications for your emails, messages and other apps when connected to your smartphone via bluetooth.
It can do EKG, can track your O2 levels and observe your sleep patterns. I don't feel very comfortable when sleeping with it on my wrist. Thus, I don't use that feature that much. My main usage of this watch is to use it as a step counter and a stylish good old watch.
Overall, it is good value for your money.

Health Focused Smartwatch in a Timeless Design

Smart watches are becoming more and more common these days. They offer a lot of benefits while replacing a traditional watch that some might already be wearing. For people who want both, in comes the "Hybrid" design which offers a Smartwatch for people who don't really want to look like they are wearing a smartwatch. This is where the Withings ScanWatch enters, but where it truly excels is its health features.
SETUP & DESIGN:
- Unboxing was such a nice experience because of how environmentally friendly it was. There wasn't any excessive wrapping, just open the box and in is your little carrying case with the charger and watch inside!
- The setup was very easy for me as well. Just download the Healthmate app and it will take you through the steps of setting up the watch. After my initial setup, I really have not touched the settings at all so that has been a huge plus for me that I am not constantly tinkering with it!
- A little thing but really cool, the Watch hands set themselves on their own so that it syncs up with your digital time. So no using the watch dial to change your time whenever you change time zones or have daylight savings!
- My first impression of the watch was how beautiful it looked. I mean its really has a clean, elegant design and the watch has some nice weight to it so it feels high end and the real deal.
- I realize the design might not be for everyone, but some people want the look of the classic watch while still having smartwatch functionality and health tracking! I for one like it because it feels more versatile how you can where it in a lot of situations and not just sportier situations like other smartwatch looks offer.
PERFORMANCE:
- This needs to be said first; The battery life on the ScanWatch is truly fantastic! I have worn this thing everyday 24/7 for two weeks now and during that time it tracks my sleep, I take ECG daily, take Blood Oxygen daily, track workouts, and have the "quick look" screen wake up on as well. With all of those "battery drainers" in use, I still have not even had to think about charging this. I have had other Smartwatches in the past I enjoyed but I still had to charge them every 1-3 days depending on usage. Its just really great that I don't have to think about bringing a watch charger everywhere I go.
- The Health features on this watch are really exceptional. The Blood Oxygen and ECG are easy to take as they each only take 30 secs a piece and the sleep tracking is wonderful and can even detect if you have breathing troubles at night. Of course it still does the basic things well like tracking your heart rate constantly and keeping up with your steps.
- Working out with the ScanWatch has been a lot of fun too. It's easy just to click a workout and go! Nothing too complex but at the same time very accurate with tracking. I found the watch to give me accurate step measurements as well as see the quality of my workouts as well.
- I also like how the ScanWatch works with iPhones or Android. I personally have been using this with a Samsung phone, but I like the flexibility of working with either or.
- That being said, the connected to phone aspect of it works great! You can get notifications if you want to or alarms or really a lot of your standard smartwatch features.
- Lastly, I have enjoyed the durability of this watch as well. The stainless steel exterior and watch glass are tough, and it can handle being in the water as well as being in some sweat!
CONS:
- I think this is going to be a hit or miss issue with some, but because of the small display screen you really need your phone to unlock its potential. There is no way to view sleep on the watch, no GPS unless you have your phone with you, no way to view your activity for the week, or look into the details of your Blood Oxygen and ECG readings without using the Healthmate App. Also, you can't respond to texts or answer calls on the watch. For some this might not matter at all, but for some I think they will want.
- There is no music player on the watch so if you want to go on a run or workout while listening to music, you will need your phone with you.
- There is no "nudge" function that vibrates the watch when you have been sitting for too long. This is an easy fix to me and can be down with a software update, but for now its lacking.
- Lastly, I use the ScanWatch with my Samsung Phone and you can pair your "Samsung Health" app with your "Healthmate" app so that your phone's step tracking syncs up with the ScanWatch's tracking. It works great and syncs up well on the "Healthmate" app, however it will not update on your watch itself. For Example: if you only wore your watch half the day but had your phone with you the entire day, your Healthmate app would show 10,000 steps but your watch would say only 5,000 steps and you haven't reached your goal yet. This is disappointing to me because there always going to be steps you take that your phone captures better than your Smartwatch, simply because if arms can be stationary at times like on an elliptical, or pushing a baby stroller, or mowing the lawn.
BOTTOM LINE:
- Withings has crafted a SmartWatch for people who want a high end experience from a simplistic design. I have truly enjoyed my ScanWatch because I use it as a basic Watch for the majority of the time, but it still is keep track of my health and exercise each day! I think other Smartwatches can miss the mark a bit but overly notifying you or make you pick up your phone or respond to things on your watch. For that, I think the ScanWatch will appeal to a lot of people. You can the fantastic health and fitness tracking ability of a Smartwatch with the look and simplicity of timeless traditional watch.

The Withings Scanwatch is easily the most attractive fitness watch on the market. It's a great choice for those that want to keep track of their fitness while working a job that requires a bit more professional look than most 'sporty' fitness trackers provide.
It looks and feels like a very elegant watch, particularly at a casual glance. Most people I showed it to had no idea it was a fitness tracker until I showed them the tracker functions. The design looks great and as a watch it's fantastic--it syncs with your phone's time so it's always accurate, and the hands are easy to read. They even have the old-school glow-in-the-dark strips on the hands so no obnoxious bright light is required to read it in a dark room.
The health implementations are unique--with ECG and O2 tests built in I imagine it's an important watch for people with heart conditions or worries of an underlying illness. For the most part the ECG worked very well--I have a small arrhythmia that it picked up on every reading. The only issue I had is that the conditions need to be just about perfect to get an accurate reading--the slightest noise can nullify the results and you'll get an error message and have to start over. I had much worse luck with the O2 sensor--I could not get it to work until I watched a few videos of other people using it. Even then it failed a frustrating number of times.
If you have poor reading vision the watch might be a little frustrating, as the display for the readout is small. One frustration for me was trying to run with it--I don't wear my reading glasses while running, so I really couldn't read most of the pertinent information about my workout until I was in a place where I could put my glasses on, and even then it was easier to read on the app.
Speaking of the app, it's (like everything these days) necessary to set up the watch, and has a ton of useful information on it after the set up. You can set up regular heart and O2 tests, monitor results over a period of time, monitor your workouts and workout heart rates, monitor sleep cycles, etc. It's all very well thought out and easy to use.
Probably the biggest negative for me was the lack of GPS built in. If you run with your phone every time you'll find yourself using another tracker app to measure distance accurately. It would have been great to have a GPS tracker built in--I mostly run with my workouts, so I've found myself changing into a standard fitness tracker for my runs. You may want to do that anyway, as the watch looks so nice it will feel a little out of place with a workout ensemble.
The watch has an impressive array of workout settings to choose from, though, and it seems to be pretty accurate for most (I didn't test the boxing setting, but I'm impressed there is one) so the GPS isn't really an issue unless you're running/walking and possibly biking.
The best thing far and away about this watch is the battery life--the box says 30-days, and it genuinely seems like it could last that long! I worry too much about my devices running out of charge, but I managed to wait two weeks and it still read over 30% when I re-charged it. I was working out and running ECG tests and wearing it to bed for the sleep monitor most nights, so I was likely using the charge faster than standard use and it still had an impressive amount of charge left! I wish every company would use this technology, frankly--it's that impressive.
Overall this is a perfect device for people with conditions they either have or want to monitor, and people that need something a bit more elegant to wear while still keeping track of their steps, heart rate, etc. If you're a runner or your eyes aren't that great you'll probably want a secondary device for runs or working out, though--and you might want one anyway just to avoid being overdressed at the gym.

Pros:
Steel case
Sapphire crystal
Great battery life
Smart features that don't get in the way
Cons:
No Anti-Reflection (AR) coating on the crystal
Step counter algorithm needs improvement
Week vibration (notifications)
No fall detection
No reverse sync with HealthMate app
Review:
The watch looks good for a smartwatch and built from the correct materials. Similar to a good analog watch, this one has steel case (not aluminum) and sapphire crystal (not mineral). Unfortunately Withings is missing a watch building background. The case could use some refinements and polishing in some places to really make it look good. The lack of anti-reflecting coating makes the watch look cheap. When you compare the watch to a cheap (say $50) analog watch from a reputable company you can see a tremendous difference in the way the watch presents and withings is the loser. Withings Scanwatch looks cheaper, because the face looks cloudy due to reflections. The sapphire crystal looks like plastic. The lack of AR is simply inexcusable.
When it comes to the smarts, I love the way it is executed. Small dial that is not visible until it is needed. This is really all that is needed. HR, ECG, oximeter seem to work. I will leave it to other people to test the accuracy of these sensors. With these health features you could recommend the watch to an older person, but the lack of fall detection is unfortunate. It seems that the sensors are there, but the algorithm is not smart enough.
The watch could benefit from more customizable HR monitoring. Less frequent for better battery life, more frequent for those that needed. Unfortunately there is no such choice. You're stuck with per-configured interval. Also no HRV.
The watch has a separate dial for the fitness goal measurement (step count), but again it is not without issues. The pedometer algorithm doesn't always work well. If you take a short walk (say 1000 steps) at a normal pace, then the step count will be fairly accurate. On the other hand, if your steps are less consistent (frequent stops), then algorithm will filter out most of the steps. Tracking walks is OK, but more general activity will give a very inaccurate step count. I would love to see at least one more level of adjustment to the step counter algorithm, like a choice between the default and more sensitive (less filtered) option. I don't believe for a second that scanwatch pedometer is more accurate in step counting than a pedometer strapped to an ankle or clipped on a belt. Then comes another issue. You can get an accurate step count using a different tracker, but syncing that information is a problem.
First syncing issue is that step count entered manually (from treadmill counter) is not imported into HealthMate app. Many fitness trackers/apps do not allow manual input. I don't agree with this, but it's OK. You still can sync the steps tracked by another device (phone or Fitbit) into HealthMate app, so that's great, but these steps won't reflect on the watch (no reverse sync). Because of this issue, that nice goal dial on the watch will still show only 3K steps even if you did over 10K tracked by a more accurate device. This makes the great idea of the goal dial pretty useless.
There are other software limitations. For example you can assign only 3 options to crown hold function. There is no option to assign clock functions (stopwatch/timer), etc. I would not expect any options to be offered later with a software update.
Verdict: The watch is not bad, but both hardware and software are in unfinished form. Withings will probably come out with another offering that will feature an AR coating and maybe more refined case, but then you will have to pay again for the upgrade. There is a hope for software improvement, but this watch is not the first offering from Withings. Judging but the lack of company responses in Withings support forum and several years of lacking software, I don't think that Withings is interested in making the improvements.
I can still recommend this watch if you want a hybrid watch, because it does a lot of this right. On another hand, I recommend checking around. You might find another product that will suit you better.

The Withings ScanWatch SmartWatch is a really cool watch with some really great features that help track your health and activity so you can live your best life.
The build of the watch looks and feels like a quality premium watch. It is vey minimalist, but gives you everything you need out of a watch. I have gotten many compliments purely on the looks of the watch. The band is soft and feels nice around my wrist for all day and night wear. One thing I would like is a slightly larger smart screen for notifications, but I can't knock it too bad since any larger of a smart screen could throw off the asthetics of the watch. The crown is used to scroll through the watch functions and a simple press selects that function. It is smooth and feels well built.
Features:
BPM - This monitors your beats per minute and is a great thing to monitor throughout the day. I try to watch my heart rate to monitor stress levels so I know when to relax and take breaks from daily and work stresses. It also helps when I am exercising and I want to keep my heart rate up.
ECG - This watch utilizes a medical grade electrocardiogram to monitor your heart rhythm. This is great for anyone that is looking to keep a close on on their heart and can even let you know if you are going through Atrial Fibrillation. The really cool part of this feature is that you can even share your results with your doctor or health professional!
SPO2 - This feature helps to monitor your blood oxygen levels. I found this feature to be one of the most highly used on this watch. I ended up getting COVID and monitoring your blood oxygen levels is extremely important. This is something that I did several times throughout every day while sick to stay on top of my health and I was grateful for being able to utilize this function.
Fitness tracking - It's nice to see steps at a glance to let me know when I need to get up and move around. I can also select different types of workouts from running to swimming and biking.
Sleep Tracking - This is one of the better sleep tracking wearables I have tried. It breaks down your duration of sleep, depth, regularity, and interruptions and rates your sleep with a sleep score. You can view sleep trends by night, quarter and year. This really gives you a good breakdown between short term and long terms trends.
Battery Life - I was a little disappointed in the battery Life. It is stated that the watch can get around 30 days of battery life, however, I am only getting about 2 weeks. This could be due the the frequency of using the features many times throughout the day every day. It's not enough to detract anything from my rating, though.
Overall, I think this is a fantastic smartwatch that has it's place in life and fitness tracking to monitor your day-to-day health. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a stylish wearable smartwatch.

Wow!... is how I will start off this review. Packed well and comes with a very cool soft traveling case. This watch can be worn with work or pleasure. The watch itself you can tell is quality along with a very comfortable adjustable band. I think this is where most smart watches have lacked in the past. The Health Mate App was super easy to install and setup was seamless. It took a total of about 10 minutes. I am absolutely amazed at all the things it can do. It can track your heart rate, oxygen saturations levels, sleep cycles and overnight breathing disturbances along with an atrial fibrillation detection. It has up to 30 days of battery life, but haven't owned it long enough to test the 30 days. I would recommend this watch in a heartbeat!

Classy with Brains...A different Smart Watch

The Withings Scan Watch - A smartwatch that is different from the pack of generic smartwatches on the market. For one, it does not look like a smartwatch, and that itself is a plus in my book. Available in White or Black dials, this smartwatch is for those people who want the traditional analogue dial but still want the advanced features that a smartwatch brings to the table. The front face of the watch is classy, the analogue hands with the digital interface that shows your health metrics and your day metrics. There is a second analogue dial that shows you how many of the steps you have completed in a day, without having to get into the screen settings. The user interface is very simple, it’s a digital crown that allows you to navigate through all the smartwatch features by rotating it to switch between the watch options, with a press to select options and activate options.
The Withings Scan Watch has several smartwatch features including some unique ones including a medical grade SpO2 Oximeter (oxygen saturation in your blood), medical-grade single-lead ECG (measures the pulse / electrical activity for your heart). Of course, the watch features all the usual accoutrements you’d expect including a heart rate monitor, a step counter to track steps, and distance tracker, stairs climbed tracker, a sleep tracker and a pre-programmed workout with automatic activity detection.
I thought I’d highlight some of the special features and their pro’s and con’s in this review.
ECG - The watch supports reading your heart rate, as part of that feature, it includes an echocardiogram (ECG). It is a single-lead ECG, which for most cases can be used to detect atrial fibrillation, and while having a 6-lead would provide more data for your doctor, it is my understanding that the single lead is enough to tell if there is a problem. You can initiate ECG’s or it automatically will trigger to monitor your heart 24x7. Having the ECG is useful, and if your cardiologist requires you to monitor your heart, this device coupled with the data export option makes for a quick easy way to send the data to your doctor. I used this a couple of times, to monitor my heart when conditions required me to check my heart rate and pattern. While the watch (with the accompanying software on your phone) only detects atrial fibrillation, its accompanying Health Mate app will analyse and report extending the features of the watch.
Taking an ECG is easy. Using your index and thumb holding the metal outer ring, and pressing the watch against your wrist, allows for you to take a reading. I suggest using a flat surface to rest your watch arm on to help stabilize the reading. Once you take the ECG and capture the data, which takes 30 seconds to capture, the computer on your phone processes it to mention if you are having atrial fibrillation or a normal sinus rhythm ECG. Once you get the hang of taking an ECG, it’s rather easy and does that pretty well.
SpO2 - Measuring your oxygen is important to evaluate your lung function. The watch does a reasonable job of estimating the amount of oxygen in your blood. While most oxygen measuring equipment uses your finger to try to evaluate the amount of oxygen in your blood, the reflective nature of the blood oxygen measurement means that it can sometimes be a bit lower depending on your skin colour. I found it is more accurate with lighter-skinned arms than darker skin. I compared it to my finger-based SpO2 meter, and it’s not as accurate, but generally, when it works it works rather well, and in a pinch is no different from other smartwatches in their accuracy.
The SpO2 meter also allows the watch to monitor your O2 levels when sleeping and helps you identify if you have any breathing issues at night. Combined with sleep tracking, this is a very useful feature, potentially identifying problematic sleep disorders that should be followed up with a medical professional.
As for a regular smartwatch, it features a step meter, distance calculator, and stair climber tracker. These combined with your increased heart rates will automatically detect that you are now doing a workout with seven different workout modes (walking, swimming, running, cycling, indoor running etc). The watch features an altimeter that is rather accurate in stair climbs, and the step counter isn’t too far off from other step counters that I use. What I did find interesting is that the watch does not have a GPS, which means keeping a phone around when going for a run helps keep track of your other metrics - like run speed, distance and other connected smartwatch features.
The watch features a built-in alarm and combined with the sleep sensors it starts to buzz earlier to help you wake up in time for your main alarm. With gentle and yet powerful buzz you wake up refreshed. As sleep is an important part of our daily routine, it grades our sleep by a daily score.
The best part of this watch is its battery life. Because it does not have all that fancy GPS and a large touch screen, the watch features a 30-day battery life, and frankly, in my use, I found that accurate. The watch is also waterproof to 5 ATMs which is 50 meters or 165 feet. The watch also features a standard strap which can be replaced by a watch retailer.
Application: The accompanying “Health Mate App” is designed to connect with the phone and provide you with a centralized location for all your health metrics. It syncs with your watch continuously and provides an up to date overview of your day or night. The app connects to all the popular tracking apps like google fit, strava and runkeeper for competing with friends. The app also allows you to set up and update your watch from your phone. The app is non-intrusive but sometimes needs to be open for the GPS tracking to work when using the connected GPS features.
Final thoughts:
The watch is classy, it’s quite heavy compared to most smartwatches, but the weight brings about a phenomenal battery life, classy wear to work, and yet must have smart features on a wristwatch. Overall the watch is probably the classiest watch I own, almost reminds me of my swiss army branded watch from over 18 years ago. This is a great watch. Totally worth the price if you are looking for a smartwatch that doesn't look like the generic watch.
Pros:
* The battery life! 30 days easy with regular use of smart features
* Classy premium look
* Strong buzzer
Cons:
* Cannot read ECG accurately if your heart rate is over 100 beats per minute
* Struggles with the O2 reading on darker skin types as its measuring reflection
* Unable to measure distances walked/exercised without a phone to sync with nearby as it has no GPS, altitude/steps climbed seems to be not as accurate at times

The withings scanwatch is a wonderful almost has it all health and fitness watch that has great features that i believe will only improve with time.
Whats in the box:
- the watch
- the charger
- a fabric pouch
- quick guide and accessories cards
Build quality:
I have been using the watch for almost 3 months now and I have to say that this is by far the most comfortable health and fitness watch I have ever used and I have many others to compare to.
the build quality is solid and the minimalist design that combined the traditional classic round watch look with mechanical dials and the digital screen in the upper half of the watch face is timeless.
Features:
battery life is insane: i have charged the watch 3 times in almost 3 months and today I have crossed the 30 day mark without a charge and the watch has 2% left in it but its still going.
Heart rate scanning: Accurate.
Electrocardiogram or EKG: this has been a miss for the most time. I have a condition called right bundle branch block (RBBB). is a heart block in the right bundle branch of the electrical conduction system. During a right bundle branch block, the right ventricle is not directly activated by impulses travelling through the right bundle branch.
the watch has never detected an irregular EKG for me although mine should always be irregular. hopefully this is something that will be fixed in future software updates. but as of now, it is not accurate at all.
O2 sensor or oxygen sensor: its accurate if you do it correctly. you have to activate it and then press the watch face against your skin for 30 seconds to get a reading.
Sleep cycle sensing: this is a hit and miss for the most part. the watch will not read your sleep if you take a nap during the day no matter how long or short it is. other health trackers I have that are at least 2 years older than this one do track all sleep cycles and give you accurate sleep efficiency data.
- activity tracking: this has been accurate for the most part as long as you have the app installed on your phone.
- water resistance: I have been showering with the watch on, went to the Sauna wearing it, and swam with it on. no issues here whatsoever.
- Overnight sleep disturbance: this is an interesting measure as the watch tells me how many times a night my sleep was disturbed.
Overall, at this price point the Withings Scanwatch is a great tool with a lot of potential. it received multiple software updates since I got it and it continues to get better. I like the look which enables me to wear it to any occasion as it works with casual and formal clothing, and with active clothing as well. its not heavy or bulky, and have a decent amount of accessory bands to customize it however you want.

It's More About Health Than Fitness

This a one lovely piece of tech. The Scanwatch is looks great with it's elegant styling. It's a watch first and smart enough second. This isn't your everyday fitness tracker. This watch cares about your health. Your breathing, sleeping, heart-rate, oxygen levels. Your life. I use smartwatches for the step counter first and the fitness tracking after. The Scanwacth starts off thinking of how you are feeling. It wants to make sure you're healthy enough to do the things you love to do. The app rewards you with badges and neat little fun facts about your distance compared to miles and tower height. It's really cool. The screen is just the right size for my wrist and the hands do the standard glow in the dark thing( I really like that.) There's a wake up feature, standard in most modern smartwatches, that allow the screen to turn on by lifting you arm up. The watch constantly checks your breathing pattern to determine whether or not you are having heart problems, such as heart failure or if your having trouble sleeping. I'm very impressed with this. Like I said earlier, it tracks your sleep pattern. This is really awesome because of the battery power behind it. This is the only real issue I have with this watch. It touts a 30 day battery life. I have yet to own it for 30 days and I've had to charge it at least twice( most 4 times) I say that because I'm active. I don't think this watch battery had active people in mind when it said 30 days. I would assume that if it where set to only basic watch functions and was set on a table for a month, it might make it 30 days, but for a person, such as myself, that gets out and jogs 4 to 6 miles daily and works out 4 to 5 days a week, this beautiful little gem will give you 5 to 6 days of life. And according to my math, that's not even a week. However, that's still 5 days for watch to do all of the things this one does. So don't sleep on that aspect. The other problem I have is the way you have to go about scrolling to find your workouts( I said I use my watches for fitness, so this can get a little tedious when I'm trying to get started in the gym or on the trail.), but it is something that you can get use to over time.
All in all, for the past couple weeks, I've been fighting with myself over whether or not I should shelve the brand new $450 smartwatch I currently use or do I put the $300 piece of elegance back in its nice little cloth case only to be taken out on special occasions. But at the same time, missing out on all the benefits that comes with wearing it. honestly, that's a hard decision to make. If we just set aside the stated battery life and accept that 5 days of life is more than adequate, I think you'll find that this watch is more than just good enough. I love the look , the feel and the ability to be an eye catcher/ conversation starter along with a very good battery life. All with functions that could very well save a life. This is a very good and dare I say great smartwatch to own. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Good job Withings.

This is an excellent smart watch. It is FSA/HSA eligible and an FDA approved device. Be aware that some features are only accessable thru the monthly subscription. I was unaware of this - they do not plainly state that fact on the website where they are bragging about all this watch can do. Still, it is very accurate, runs a long time between charges, looks amazing, and is very well made. Who knows, I might even subscribe to the website so my doctor and I can access the reports. I bought this to give me more information on my sleep, since I have apnea and sleep with a CPAP.

The biggest selling point for me was the battery life; I was told that I'd get about a month before needing to charge it. I have been running my watch exactly how I want (not on any sort of power-saving) and have only just today put it down to charge - and it charges wonderfully fast. My only gripe with the watch, and it is miniscule, is the readout on notifications. Some emoticons/emojis don't display perfectly. Aside from that, I like that my bpm is tracked automatically. For someone like me with a naturally-low resting heart rate, it is great having that on record. Having my sleep and steps counted feels pretty cool as well.

After using this for 3 months, I can honestly say my life has changed. Although it starts with the individual's wanting to change, the Withings watch helped me track my progress and gave me the necessary information to push me towards my goal. Like many others, Covid had pushed my health into a bad place. Every number that should be up or down in terms of good health was the exact opposite. I bought this watch after reading many different reviews for android users. It may not tell you about REM, be the most accurate, or answer phone calls/texts, but it definitely will give you a baseline, track your progress and provide you the encouragement to move forward in achieving your health goals. No other watch can stay on your wrist straight for 2 weeks without charging and be able to track your sleep, steps, and workouts. It even tells me to get up out of my chair if I'm sitting too long! The weight and thickness of the watch is great. It's super comfortable and I'm able to sleep with it on without any problems. I've had prior smartwatches but they were always bulky and needed to charge at the end of the day. What's the point in a smartwatch that measures sleep when it needs to be charged at that time! Like I mentioned earlier, it's your mindset to want to change but this watch will help you get there. Good luck to everyone in achieving your health goals!

We already know the beauty of the watch. I bought it because it looks like a mechanical watch, and the square in this of the Apple Watch is ugly, everyone looks like they’re in a cult little black squares on their wrists. This watch is gorgeous. I’ve gotten 28 days out of a single charge, wear is constantly. In general and gives me comfort. Step counter is way off iPad to my iPhone 13. At the end of the day anywhere from 1500 to 2700 steps difference even if they both with me constantly. The step count on the watch is sometimes even power when I’ve left my phone sitting on the counter for an hour. The sleep tracking is a bit strange sometimes it clocks you as sleeping while sitting in a chair reading for over an hour. So I recommend it unless you’re a true fitness not if you are just watch isn’t for you. Mechanical watch lover and have issues with your heart station. Although I should note it doesn’t record slow heart rate otherwise known as bradycardia.

It's a beautiful, well-made watch. The ECG and other functions are top notch, and actually work better than the apple watch. Their app is well done, and very useful, however its not super slick, like bigger companies such as apple. I don't think its necessarily useful as an overall sports watch, but as a health watch, it's the best I found.
