    Very comprehensive scale, but expensive.

For starters, let me just say that I love this scale. It is, by far, the most comprehensive, fully-featured scale that I have ever owned. While I like to monitor my weight, I've always believed that measuring body fat percentage is a better gauge of determining your health since weight doesn't consider muscle mass. This scale does just that, and so much more. Of course, like all body fat scales, you'll need to weigh yourself barefooted since it uses bioelectrical impedance to measure body fat, but this is common. (Note: if you have a pacemaker, you should NOT use this scale or any other with BI technology as it can cause your pacemaker to malfunction.) Beyond weight and body fat measurements, this scale does it all and then some. It also measures heartrate, air quality and it even tells you what the weather will look like for the day. What's particularly amazing is that the scale will automatically identify up to 10 people when they step on it by remembering prior measurements. This is incredibly convenient. The scale also comes with a companion app for iOS (but I don't think one is available for Android) that works great to monitor your health long-term, and the app also syncs with HealthKit, MyFitnessPal and many more apps, which makes it super simple to streamline into any lifestyle where monitoring your health is important to you. Like any scale, I can't really say how 'accurate' the weight and body fat measurements are since I don't have a calibration weight, but I can testify to the scales consistency. The scale is EXTREMELY consistent. I only have two small complaints with the scale. First and foremost, the scale comes with optional feet for which to use in carpeted situations, but the scale simply is not accurate on carpet--like most scales. Secondly, the scale is very expensive. It was $30 more expensive than any other scale in the store but I bought it based on the glowing recommendations, and after owning it for a while, I'm glad I did. That being said, I still think the scale is a bit overpriced, but if you're willing to pay the premium for features and reliability, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

    Promising until we broke it

Wife had some issue setting up at first but she seem to work through them quickly. We only had it for 3 days when my 6 year old knocked our old scale off the tub and shattered the new one. I do have to say the new one is made from safety glass and nobody got cut. Other than my son crying because he broke mom's new scale everyone is fine. Nice enough, I am considering buying another one, but I might just go with the WS-30 instead. Be aware that you can break this scale if some thing heavy drops on in or I suppose if you drop it. My old scale had been dropped a few times and worse so I was not expecting that my new scale to get broken, I want to say "that easy" but my old scale is a tank.

I bought my Smart Body Analyzer to help me track my weight and body fat and it is working just like i imagined.. It is true that you see some variations but the point here is to analyze the trend not one single measurement.. I also noticed some variations depending on how well positioned the scale is in the ground, but it does show some good accuracy. If you are looking to a gadget to help you with your fitness goals, I recommend this equipment.

I found this item via a review on My Fitness Pal as it was compatible with the app, and after days of researching the best smart scale I decided on the Withings Smart Body Analyzer. I was so excited I chose to pick up in store, but that quickly faded when I turned it on and could not pair it with my phone (iPhone 5s). After a day, we were able to sync it with the wifi, but for the first few hours it would not recognize my husband and my weight properly to each of our individual accounts. After a bit of tweaking with the app and deleting the others weight on our own app, it now syncs perfectly. The Withings app details a lot of information and can be tedious to get through, but I definately prefer more than less. I love that it sync now perfectly with My Fitness Pal app so I can just open that app to view my progress. The Withings app is also very helpful sending notifications to remind me to walk, drink a calming tea before bed and best of all reminding me to weigh myself. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and am excited about any updates that they creator an make to take advantage of more of the app/information logged.

If you're like me and jumping on the body metrics band wagon this is probably the scale for you it's got a ton of features easy to setup and there in the first "problem" lays. The scale can connect to your WIFI and push notification to the Withings app however that's also what the Bluetooth does unfortunately you never really know if you're on a WIFI network unless there is rain in the forecast, at which point a symbol of an umbrella will appear on the second or third screen. (I believe there was a recent firmware update that gives you the up coming forecast rain or shine) According to Jawbone it works with Withings which is partially true it will record your weight however even though the app records steps it will not record Jawbone steps only Apple iOS Health steps so it you're like me and have an active job and leave my phone on my desk for charging or safety it won't record your steps. It will add another app for you to peruse unfortunately with non intuitive graphs. Maybe a future firmware update will clear up some of the confusion time will tell.

I bought this scale when my old scale died. It measures no better or worse than any other scale on the market but the integration with IOS apps is what I love. I stand on it ritually everyday because I know, whether I pay attention or not, my FITBIT app on IOS will get updated with my weight. That's a small feature for the price of the scale.....but exactly what I wanted....tight integration with my other fitness apps with little effort.....and this scales offers that.

I love the scale. So far it works great. I think it is priced a little high. Very easy setup. I don't know what previous reviewers were complaining about. It was three steps. Pair your phone via Bluetooth, enter your wifi password, and sync.

The scale itself works great. It provides the weight, % body fat, heart rate (as long as you are bare foot), temperature and the weather forecast. It's communication with the iPhone APP is some times sporadic. I realize this can be secondary to internet/WiFi connection. I think the scale is great but the APP needs to be improved by making it more user friendly.

I have been using an app to plot what I eat against my weight. This works very well so that I don't have to remember to enter my weight by hand. The withings app can write data into my iPhone's built in health app. It's kind of pricy for what it is but it works. The scales look nice but they must be cleaned often. These look dirty quickly. The air quality monitor isn't of much use to me but I actually like the weather forecast app. The fat percentage and heartbeat indicators aren't that helpful thus far. I've never found that very accurate on any scales I've had. If I step on the scales twice, my weight is different up to 2 lbs. but I'm happy with my purchase.

There is a lot to like about this scale. The weight readings are consistent, and easily log to my iphone. The temperature and air quality ratings are interesting. Unfortunately, the heart rate readings only register about 1/3 of the time. Most of the readings are errors. Also, the body fat percentage varies wildly from day to day, even when my weight hasn't changed. It seems reliable for weight, but not for the other features.

I owned the Fitbit Aria scale prior to buying the Withings Smart Body Analyzer. I got tired of the Fitbit not syncing with Apple Heath and other Apps. It even failed to sync with Fitbit's App. I purchased the Withings scale just for the Apple Health capability but have been more impressed with its other functions. Especially the CO2 measuring which led me to better understand my indoor air quality. WIthings also updated my scale and added new weather forecast functionality. At first it would warn you about rain...as a Pacific NW resident, that seemed redundant, but they recently added high and low temp readouts. My only wish list item is a faster heart rate reading. It seems to wait until the end to measure heart rate. Couldn't it be doing it along with the scale and BMI readings? I recommend this scale over the Fitbit and any other smart scale on the market.

I got this along with their O2 tracker. The app installed on my phone fine. The scale reports my weight automatically. I have my Withings account hooked up to Mynetdiary so my weight automatically populates into the main app I use to track my weight loss quest and nutrition. It is a little expensive, but worth it.

Once I got the scale working it seems to be very accurate as far as room temp, humidity, weight, and consistency. The scale works well with multiple users which we've never had a problem with. It does sync up with Google Fit, MyFitnessPal and even WeightWatchers. The down sides we found are in the customer service which requires multiple pokes and prods to get a response and in wireless setting. The device seems to have issues with networks utilizing range extenders.

This is a great scale! It tracks your weight loss trend and automatically syncs with the Health app and My Fitness Pal app which I use to keep my food diary and exercise. It also reads your heart rate and BMI, CO2 levels and shows you the weather! Very easy to set up, too via the Withings app.

Accurate scale, but the heart rate and other features are useless. IF the heart rate sensor actually works, it is always WAY off. I have had it say 57bpm, and when I get off and right back on, it says my heart rate is 98bpm. I have compared against my phone and my S2 watch, and it is NEVER right. My wife has checked as well, and it is the same with her. I am not sure if the CO2 sensor is working or not, as I have no way to test it, but it fluctuates ALL over the maps from 600 to 1100. I will need to find a way to test this. The good. The scale seems very accurate as does the fat %. I have started running a lot lately, and changed my diet because of what I saw when I first got the scale. I am now (after 2 months) down to 21.5% body fat and still going down. The App - The android app is ok, as long as you don't want to look at the graphs much. When first starting out, you need to zoom in about 800% just to see your data. Until you get to about 3 months, the data on the graph is about useless.

Being a weight loss patient, I really needed a scale that would weigh me the same as my surgeon's office so I could get an accurate reading. Well, this scale is awesome and it in fact matches and weighs the same as theirs. It also tells me how my weight loss is progressing and keeps track of all weight loss and tells me if my heart is in the healthy mode or not. Tracks my in home levels of air quality and even gives me inside and outside temp readings. Love the app too! Pairs flawlessly with it. I normally would never pay that much for a scale but all the cheap ones never weigh right and are always off. This one is helping me tremendously with my weight loss and I don't care if my sister said that was way too much to pay, but hey, it's my money and I'm the one that has went through a life changing event ...not her. I think that was selfish of her to judge how I want to live my life and take care of myself with whatever tools I deem necessary for my goals.

Like the automatic tracking. Don't see the point of the weather feature. Does not consistently pick up my heart rate but it always seems to record my husband's. It automatically senses which one of us is on the scale and uploads our respective weights. The connection to My Fitness Pal works well so my weight automatically goes to that site as well. However, My Fitness Pal and Withings does not handle syncing two people's weights so we had to disconnect my husband from Withings and My Fitness Pal so my weight would synch correctly.

Bought this to replace an older smart scale. Works great and cant complain about the setup. Follow the instructions and you will be fine. We use it daily to track weight loss and muscle mass/ BMI. Best thing of all is how the iphone and withings apps work seamlessly together to give you a bigger picture of you health. I would also suggest the myfitness app as they all work together. I would give this 5 stars but the scale rarely finds my heart rate.
