Customers commend *Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus* for its impressive graphics and captivating story, praising the game's portability and surprisingly good performance on the Switch. Loved it. Its a shame there are no plans to port the previous version to switch. There are 2 variations in the storyline but basically the same outcome. I grew up playing the original so this title has always been a classic. Wolf 3d, rtcw, enemy territory, etc.

Growing up as a gamer, it was always a dream to play console quality games on the go. My Nintendo Switch has made that dream a reality. Wolfenstein 2 is a console quality first person shooter on the go.
While it is clear that FPS and resolution take a hit over the Xbox and PS4 equivalents, the portability adds another level of immersion that I have never seen in portable or mobile gaming. I highly recommend this game.
The story and gameplay are top notch, and the controls are fluid and responsive.
Also the old me thinks the young me would be proud to still be playing games at this skill level!

Well made game, with nice graphics. Nintendo decided to bring more mature theme games on the switch. The main key of this game is the playability and portability! The gun play was awesome, and I for one really enjoyed the story and background provided. As for a port, it is great. No, it doesn’t look like a 4K game, but what do you expect? It is a mobile platform with limited power. Considering the game runs super smooth, I don’t care that it sometimes gets a little blurry. Totally recommended.

Overall this game is a fun way to pass the time if you like 1st-person shooters, and it is an impressive Nintendo Switch port - but it is pretty standard. I recommend buying if you can find it on sale.

Wolfenstein II is just one example of how Panic Button makes the seemingly impossible happen on the Nintendo Switch. They did it with Rocket League, the did it with DOOM, and they did it with Wolfenstein. Wolfenstein II is good looking for what it is and runs relatively smoothly on the Switch with significant visual compromises and a 30 FPS target as opposed to 60 FPS on other platforms. The game itself took me about 10 hours to finish on Do or Die (equivalent to Hard I think) difficulty. It was a fun gameplay experience in handheld mode that doesn't hold up as well on TV mode. Since beating the game, I have not replayed it as I have no motivation to. It's a one and done game for me as I don't really care to find all of the collectibles and do a 100% run as that's not my desire with Wolfenstein II.
In brief summary: Wolfenstein II on the Nintendo Switch is one of the best FPS games on the system, but it is not worth the $60 price tag in my opinion.

The Whole Wolfenstein Experience On The Go!

I played this game on the PS4 first, so of course Yes this version doesn't look better than the PS4 version. But it does play and run great on the go. The only negative is that the game in reality doesn't run at 720p on the go, it's more like 640p. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Panic Button did a great job porting the whole console experience on the Switch.

I thought the game overall was worth 60 dollars if you never experienced the game before. To me its a visual marvel to be running on the Switch. It runs well docked and undocked running at 30 fps. The campaign was actually longer than I expected but I recommend playing at high difficult settings as it can be quite easy.

Wolfenstein 2 is an amazing single player first person shooter. There were multiple cut scenes where was just thinking where could things possibly go from here in the best kind of way. The shooting feels great, especially with motion controls. The game looks truly impressive when playing docked, considering how tiny the switch console is. In handheld, the game can be a bit blurry and too small to see, so I've played primarily in docked. If you can't play it elsewhere, Wolfenstein is a must buy if you like shooters.

I got this game on sale for five smackers but ironically had a gift card for that much so I figure, what the heck... It's okay, kinda interesting, but I think it's meant for the big boys, PLAYSTATION/XBOX. I've heard great things about this series, I can see what the hype is about but it's just not my thing.

I’ve putt a few hours into this game. An 8gb download is required with the physical cartridge. It runs smoothly and looks decent, but I’m not sure first person shooters are my thing. I prefer the third person style Resident Evil has adopted since RE4. With that said, the game clearly has a solid production value and is a good port. I recommend picking this up if you are curious about the game and the Switch is your only consol.

This game is amazing. I can’t believe its on the switch. I have it for PS4 already but I had to pick it up for the switch day one. Killing NZ’s on the go has never been more fun! I am in the beginning of the game but it plays really well with no hiccups. The aiming in hand held is way better then I ever could of wished for. Its almost same as using a controller (handheld mode), just slight difference. A few parts are a little dark but for the most part the graphics are amazing considering this is a triple A game that was recently released running on the switch. So happy they made this for the switch. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good shooter with a great story.

This game really shows what the Switch is capable of doing. The graphics are fantastic, the story is fantastic (but not appropriate for children), the music is fantastic. If you are old enough to enjoy a good R rated movie what are you waiting for?! Go buy this game already.
