Customers consistently note the game's extensive roster as a positive feature. However, many negative comments focus on significant issues with the game's quality and the presence of numerous bugs. These technical problems are frequently cited as detracting from the overall experience. The game's glitches and unfinished feel are recurring criticisms.

If you've ever played any of the games in the series you know what you're in for, if not then let me tell you.
2K have added crap like virtual currency in the game that you have to earn for certain game modes and there are Snickers adds on the banners in arenas. If I were given a discount to play games that have advertisements in them then that's fine but since I have to pay the same price as other games that don't have adds in them I'd like a discount version instead.
It's not even challenging to go an unlock stuff. Until someone else is developing the game I won't be buying it anymore. And the glitches from the last 5 years are still present.
Outside of that when it's working fine it can be a lot of fun with all of the customizable outfits, arenas and even weapons.
I'd say try to get it at a discount.

This game is garbage. The controls, collision detection, graphics, glitches, game freezes, creation mode is broken and the list goes on and on. Too many bugs to list. If you’re thinking about buying this game don’t!!! You’ll be disappointed beyond belief. I still can’t believe 2K would release a game in the broken state that it’s in. It’s downright criminal that I paid $90 for this steaming pile of garbage!

I've loved wrestling games for years, and, each year, I get duped into buying the new game in hopes that it's better. This years is a glitch-fest with nothing added of value. The career mode is hokey and weird, but the 2k Showcases are fun.

As a fan of the series I have to say wwe2k19 is better. This year the game seems rushed and flawed. Hope they have bug fixes in the future. The roster is current and the controls have changed. Other than that can’t say it’s a good buy

The WWE games have always been hit or miss, one year its great then the next it tanks. This is the down year. The game isn't done by THQ anymore and it shows. The 2k crew didn't know what they were getting themselves into. The graphics look top notch if this was for the PS2 instead of a PS4. This system is very glitchy, the ropes get stretched across the ring, characters clothing create weird shadows, none of the characters move as smooth as last year. It seems like 2k is 5 years behind where THQ had the game last year, Then the best character, the Fiend, wasn't even available at the start. It took another week to release his area. Just not worth the money this year.

Had HIGH hopes for this and it didn’t quite reach the “BAR”. Graphics aren’t much of an upgrade from the previous version and the weird new button combinations make gameplay a bit spotty if you’ve played 2k16-19. The commentary is the same stale track from Michael Cole, Graves & Saxton(who wasn’t even on commentary when this came out). Hopefully the next one with all of the internal company changes will redeem this franchise which is slowly becoming one of those you can just pass on at the release time and wait for it to go on sale 2 weeks later.

The game as everyone knows is extremely glitchy. I wanted to return it but of course Best Buy essentially told me no when I reached out via twitter. I understand that it isn’t their problem because they didn’t make the game but as a retailer for the game something should be done. With that said the second patch came in today and I don notice improvement so I’ll try to be optimistic as more patches come. It isn’t AWFUL, but there are issues.

In it's current state wwe2k20 has not be an enjoyable experience for most. Glitches and modes removed, the game has gotten off to a rough start. 2k has began patching the game but in my opinion you should wait on purchasing this game.

This had the potential to be good, but behind the scenes issues between Yukes and 2k caused this game to come out a buggy glitch filled mess. Don't know if patches out now after the game released helped any since I stopped playing.

I buy this game every year like an idiot, and this year is probably one of the worst years for this game. You've probably heard and read how glitcy it is. There's already been a couple of patches that came out. The only reason I got it was because I still collect it, but this year I waited for the price drop instead of going for it opening day (and I couldn't wait to see and play the Fiend). The graphics are very crappy this year too. They seem to get worse and worse each year. This looks like something i'd expect to see on my PS2 or PS3 at best. Its almost laughable how bad the graphics are! Everything else is pretty much the same as every year. The showcases and towers are cool. Nothing special, its like every year with an updated roster. The WWE fan will still prob pick it up. The casual fan, prob not? But nonetheless, wait for it in the bargain bin!

This is clearly an unfinished game, but it seems like most if the issues are things that can be patched fairly soon.
Pre-patch? It is fun but a mess.

Outdated graphics, controls are unresponsive at times, glitches galore, sound is inconsistent (Cena’s theme music is really low, but Luke Harpers will blow your ears out), and overall the game just isn’t fun to play. This is just trash. I’m not playing it again until dramatic improvements are released via updates. Don’t buy this crap

Wow, talk about 1 step forward 2 steps back. What a waste of $$$$$. Play 2k19 instead. Less glitches, less brokeness, better graphics. Such a disapointment. Read all the reviews, none are good. If you end up wanting to play anyways. DO NOT PAY FULL PRICE!
