This is a great computer, pretty strong too, if youre playing games and have it connected to the power cord i dont see you having any problems. The reason i gave it a 3star is because I bought this for photo and video editing on a time crunch and the store didnt have the Asus proart P16 i thought they had and asked for something comparable... the issue i ran into is the 32GB of soldered RAM just wasnt strong enough for doing edits in a timely manner. Lightroom made the computer work super hard and god forbid i used any AI fuctions on photoshop would take anywhere from 30seconds to a few minutes (when you have upwards to 1000 photos to sort through and edit it feels like a lifetime). So overall, if i were using it to game id give it a 4 or 5 star rating because the price was also fantastic. But for creatives for anything using adobe products, 3D rendering, ect, itll do the job but not efficiently.

It does get a little warm when doing heavy gaming but that’s to be expected great laptop don’t have a single complaint other then that

Th9s laptop is one of the best gamer laptops that dont get attention such as asus and beleive me i had them all thos year 9 inbtotal different laptops for gaming and the MSI stealth is one of the best ones yet the only thing is the screen could be a bit brighter but over all this rtx5080 with amd 9 AI ROCKS

great laptop performance for editing pictures, videos and gaming

A very powerful laptop that works for everything and is discreet at the same time despite its power. Its OLED display gives it an extra plus. It’s ideal if you want high performance without a flashy design.

The laptop was in good conditions and run pretty well all the games in max settings recomended to the people that go collage and play video games

This computer is a real beast; I love it, and it's totally worth the purchase (in full disclosure, I got an open-box one in excellent condition). What I do like about the computer: 1) beautiful OLED screen with great color rendition and calibration out of the box; this laptop is great for photo or video editing. 2) great chassis, and it's not very heavy, fits even into a slick briefcase. 3) good CPU and memory 4) fantastic GPU -- NVIDIA 5080 with 16GB VRAM, it's a real beast, and the power supply is allowing it to run full speed --> good job MSI! 5) The software preinstalled in Windows is not very bloated, and it can be optimized to improve the speed. 6) Very easy to upgrade the SSD and install another operating system in parallel. In my case, I have also installed CachyOS Linux, and everything works great! 7) The battery life is very decent on this computer. It will not quite match the one you would get on an Apple MacBook, but this machine leaves the M5 in the dust when it comes to GPU computing. What I somewhat dislike about this computer: 1) The brightness of the screen is limited and insufficient in bright light outside. You need to adjust it when running on battery only. 2) My model has only one SSD slot instead of two, so to upgrade, I had to install a 2TB replacement of the old one. 3) The fans can be a bit loud when the GPU is under heavy computation or processing, but it also self-adjusts to nearly silent when the task is done. If you wear headphones listening to music or playing a game, the fan noise is not a big issue.

I really wanted to like this laptop, but there are a few pain points for me. Cons: The bottom of the laptop can get very hot. The trackpad is really good, but it's centered on the laptop and not with the keyboard. This caused my right palm to move the mouse icon or it would detect presses when I was typing. MSI chose to put the FCN key on the right side, instead of the traditional left side. They also crammed keys wherever they could and made some keys smaller so that others could fit. I was constantly hitting the FCN when trying to arrow or hitting the arrow when trying to press the right shift. The number keys on the right are so skinny, it's very easy to hit more than one key at a time. Even though this computer has an RTX 5080, it struggled at doing some tasks that a 5080 should be able to do because MSI limited the wattage of the GPU. You are not able to upgrade the RAM and there is only one M.2 slot, so upgrade options are limited. Pros: Lighter and thinner than other laptops. Display is very nice and gorgeous. Although the case could get hot, the cooling was really good at keeping the GPU temp at around 70° C. Very smooth transitions between iGPU and dGPU. The battery lasted about 4.5 hours when doing normal everyday tasks. I think it's a good laptop overall, but there are a few tweaks that could be done to make it an amazing laptop.

With the latest generations of CPU's / GPU's, high-end gaming performance is starting to merge more and more with power efficiency, better battery life, and thinner / lighter forms. You no longer have to accept a heavy, ugly, laptop with terrible battery-life to get truly good gaming performance. This laptop is a great example. Appearance-wise, this is a "stealthy" (thus, the name) as it gets. It's as thin and light as your average business laptop, with very nice all-metal construction (which I much prefer to the plastic-y construction of a lot of gaming laptops). Keyboard is solid, easy to type on, with custom backlighting, but the laptop doesn't have all of the other gamer-type lighting that you may, or may not, want to see. It's got both an IR webcam and a fingerprint reader, which is really nice because you can do Windows Hello either way. The OLED screen is gorgeous and a joy to use. Performance-wise, I've been very impressed. It uses an RTX 5080 at a lower TGP (105 watts) than you'd see in a full-bore gaming laptop, as well as one of AMD's AI-focused Strix Halo CPU's. The upshot is that it's very power efficient. If I set it on the more efficient mode and just do office work, I can get all-day battery life (i.e., 6-8 hours) easily. Gaming battery life, err . . . not so much with the RTX 5080, but the integrated GPU on the AMD chip is no slouch and you'd be shocked how much medium-duty gaming you can do with that, just on battery power. With the lower TGP on the RTX 5080, it's not going to fully equal the gaming performance of larger, heavier, full-power RTX 5080's in something like a Legion Pro or an Asus Scar. But, the thing is, at this point the gaming performance of the RTX 5-series, especially with their AI frame-gen technology on newer games, is high enough that I'm not sure it really will be noticeable to most people. For me, for example, MS Flight Simulator is the acid test for a gaming laptop. If you crank up the details, it stresses both the CPU and GPU. On this laptop, with frame generation on, I can pretty much max-out all the detail settings. Same for my other modern, demanding games. They all run smoothly, at very high detail settings, with no problem at all. So, if you are an absolute gaming PC purist and believe in framerates above all else, then you probably ought to look elsewhere. But if you value any kind of balance at all - battery life, size, weight, looks, etc. - I think you'll find that this laptop will give you what you need. Drawbacks to be aware of: Very little expandability - only one SSD interface and the RAM is soldered down and non-expandable. Also, just one USB-C port, which seems a little sparse for a laptop this expensive.

I picked this up for $2K on a mega sale, and while it has some great qualities, one design flaw ruined it for me. Display: The 16" QHD+ OLED screen is gorgeous — vibrant, smooth at 240Hz, though glossy. Battery Life: Decent for a gaming laptop, about 6–7 hours with office work. Performance: Nerfed compared to expectations, but still OK when using FSR and Frame Generation. Dealbreaker: The charging port is located midway on the right-hand side. If you use a mouse, prepare to constantly bump into the cable. I thought I could live with it, but it drove me crazy. Bottom line: despite the beautiful screen and solid specs, the poor charging port placement was such a hassle that I returned it.

Very nice machine. Built well, nice feel all around. The screen is amazingly clear, and the gpu is great for everything I have thrown at it. It runs local llm models with no issue, and the 16 gigs on the 5080 allows for some larger models with no issues. I can't really speak on the battery life as I tend to keep it running on performance mode all of the time, but even with that the batter is still doing good.

This MSI computer works really well for playing games and the OLED screen has really nice graphics that make playing game so much better. I would recommend getting this laptop if your considering getting a new gaming laptop.

Great OLED Screen with a camera that has a built-in physical camera shutter to close when not using. Laptop runs great. Doesn't get too hot, doesn't get too loud. Well constructed.

Expensive. Does what i want it to do, cinematic graphics for everything so far. Light weight. Worth the price. Havent unplugged yet, but i assume the battery will die quickly
