It’s ok if you don’t have steps in your pool

It’s ok if you just want to do the pool floors and if you don’t have steel walls. Also I find that larger debris, like big leaves, present a problem for this pool cleaner. Overall it’s ok if the price was slightly less otherwise just get a less expensive one from Amazon.

We are a new homeowner with a pool, and nothing pleases us more than having to save tons of effort and time to keep our pool clean all the time. This Wybit - C1 Pro Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner has all the features that are not to be missed out.
First of all, this is cordless, lightweight, sturdy and looks nice while at work. It doesn't look out of place or decor for my home.
Although I haven't used it for a long time, in this short period the performance has been nothing short of impressive. No one likes to get in the pool to do the manual scrubbing of the floor, walls and the waterline. It works well to keep us all stress free and the pool looking clean all the time. It mostly works as a vacuum that we have to clean inside the home, the only difference being it works under the water. Does well to pick most of the debris at the bottom of the pool, the only issue seems to be with bigger leaves or slightly heavier items, but that is something we can all manage with. And yes, I almost forgot to mention that it is quite effective to navigate the lights, drains and other obstacles and even maneuver the stairs quite well.
Mine is a big pool and with almost 2.5 hours of cleaning time, it takes of the entire pool's surface area including the bottom, walls and the waterline. That says a lot about its battery capacity, and seems to be as impressive as the performance.
It is bagless and cleaning the bin is super easy and quick. All it needs is to remove the bin, empty it in a trash can or bag and then jet spray clean to insert back in its slot, simple!
With AI being adopted almost everywhere in our lives these days, this can't stay away from the limelight, so the mapping of the pool layout is easy as well. With multiple settings available like four cleaning modes - 1. Full 2. Floor 3. Wall 4. Wall than Floor and two path planning (S or N), I was able to select the best option for my need that covers the entire pool.
The app is simple and easy to setup without having the unwanted features and only focuses on the ones which makes sense to have. With the frequency set up function that allows me to schedule the cleanup up to 4 times for 7 days, I am able to keep up with changing cleaning needs. The built-in 'Easy to Retrieve' function makes it super convenient to move it away from the pool just in case it doesn't automatically go back to base.
Overall I am very happy with how well this Pool Cleaner works. I recommend it to everyone.

I just got the Wybot C1 Pro cordless robotic pool cleaner, a compact and lightweight device, to will help me clean my in-ground pool floor, walls, and waterline. The Wybot C1 Pro cordless robotic cleaner, priced at $400, comes with the pool robot, a float kit in case of issues with the robot climbing up and down the pool walls, and a charger. It also came with a reaching hook to help pull the robot out of the water after cleaning. The quick start guide is also included to help you get started. I first charged the robot for about two and a half hours, and after it charged, I downloaded the app to customize it to my pool's settings. The app offers Bluetooth and Wifi settings. You can set cycle timers to run the pool daily for 30, 40, and 60 minutes; it has modes to clean the floors and walls or the entire pool in just one setting. Lastly, the app provides expert settings to choose from six different cleaning patterns. After customizing the app for my pool, I placed the robot in the pool, ensuring it was completely submerged and all the air bubbles were out of the robot. I used the app to set the robot to clean my entire pool. It took about two hours and forty-five minutes to clean the pool. Once done, using the hook to fish the robot out of the pool was pretty simple. I opened the hatch to remove the white cleaning cartridge and sprayed it with a water hose to clean it. Since my pool is salt water, I sprayed the robot with water to dissolve any salt residue, thus preventing premature wear and tear to the robot's wearable components. I then reinstalled the cartridge and let the robot dry inside my garage, away from direct sunlight, overnight.
I waited a few days before I used the robot again. This time, I had the robot clean just the walls. The Wybot C1 robot performed as expected. It effortlessly climbed the walls and maneuvered around the floor and steps. The Wybot C1 robot has a strong suction motor and heavy-duty PVC brushes, making it capable of handling the most common pool debris, such as leaves, dirt, and algae. However, it may struggle with larger debris or heavy loads, and its battery life may not be sufficient for large pools. The intelligent navigation used infrared sensors that helped navigate my pool's surfaces and edges. I love the cordless design that eliminates the hassle of tangled cords and ensures flexibility in pool cleaning. The app controls are simple and user-friendly.
The Wybot C1 Pro is a reliable and efficient robotic pool cleaner that can help you reduce the time and effort required to maintain your pool. Plus, it comes with a twenty-four-month straightforward warranty, ensuring peace of mind for its users. The Wybot - C1 Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner offers a good balance of performance and convenience for most pool owners.

The Wybot C1 Pro cordless robot cleaner is a convenient modern tool to clean your pool. This bot is nicely made and it is not that big. It is a robot with a rechargeable battery so expect a little weight. Setting it up was simple, download the app and connect the robot via Bluetooth. This robot can also be connected to Wi-Fi.
The app is simple to use. You start by selecting the type of pool whether it is rectangular, circular and the type of surface. In the robot menu you can select the type of cleaning mode you want the robot to do. What's really great about this robot is that you do not need any cleaning solution whatsoever. This is great because in the long run is an affordable way to maintain your pool.
This is the first time I have used one of these robots to clean the pool. The instructions provided were extremely easy to follow, and that one time is all you need. You do need to physically put the robot in water and take it out. In the box they included a hook that you can attach to the skimmer to pull it out if you need to, but for the most part you can take it out by hand. Initially the robot will stay around the edge until it stabilizes. Then after a minute or so it will submerge and start doing its thing.
It took approximately 3 hours to clean the entire pool, and it did an amazing job. I was impressed how well it cleaned it, not only the floor but also the edges. I don't know the exact size of my pool but it's a decent size and it goes up to 6 feet deep. Honestly this is a must have if you have a pool. The robot is quiet and has really good suction. When it finishes it will come back and float around the edge of the pool pulsating a blue light. The light looks really cool especially when cleaning at night. Knowing what I know now I'll choose a wireless robot over a corded one without thinking twice.
When it comes to maintenance it's a breeze. Just empty out the litter filter, and rinse it out. Make sure to also rinse the robot. It is super easy. When done make sure to store it in a dry cool place away from the sun. The rechargeable battery will take a few hours to charge and has to be manually plugged with the included charger.
Overall, this Wybot C1 robot is fabulous, all in one solution for your pool. It cleans the floor, wall, and surface. It is super easy to use, and does an amazing job in a wireless convenience way. It's also easy to clean and maintain. In the box you get the robot, charging cable, hook attachment and manuals.

I live in Phoenix, AZ. In the spring/summer/fall you can count on finding me in my pool from about 5:15p till 6:30p (when I have to get out to make dinner). Any tool that I can find that helps me keep my pool cleaner, means a more peaceful, trouble free swim for me. For the last 6 or 7 years I've had a pool robot (or 3) that skims the surface (named: Rosie), removing surface debris. It stays in the pool 24/7 unless I put a cover on the pool to extend the swimming season. This Wybot C1 pro is a different kind of robot. It's designed to pick up debris from the bottom of the pool and to suck/clean algae from the sides and bottom. One of my least favorite pool jobs is brushing down the pool walls (and bottom). My previous pool crawler (suction vac) did ok cleaning the bottom but not so good with the walls. I'm hoping this C1 pro robot, which I'm calling: 'C3Pool O' eliminates these chores. I doubt it can handle the mess that Monsoon's and Haboob's bring occasionally; but keeping the pool clean the other 350 days a year will be just fine.
The Wybot C1 Pro is rechargeable. There is a screw on/off port on the top where you attach the charging cable. The charger is not in any way waterproof/resistant. It's similar to a power brick on a notebook. It seems to fully recharge in 2 to 2.5 hours. Which is about the maximum time it will run in the pool. There is an app that you should use to define the type of pool you have and what surfaces (floor/walls) you and it to clean. In my pool where the bottom curves to meet the wall the robot climbs almost 1/2 up the wall when turning (this is a good thing). I have a tile pool, but the robot climbs the walls with ease, they have a float collar that can be added if there was a problem on slick walls, I did not need it. I first fully charged the robot. When fully charged the green leds on the front will stop blinking (3 on) and the top led. When it's ready to clean (charging cord removed) the led will either be a light blue or purple (when connected to the app). To start it cleaning just slowly lower it into the pool until it stops releasing bubbles. Then you can release it and it will float to the bottom. It will take 20-30s for it to settle, then it "looks" around the pool to get is' berrings. And then off it goes starting with walls or floors based on what you've selected to be done first. After it finishes cleaning it will come to rest in a corner of the pool (or by a wall). They provide a plastic hook that you can attach to a pool pole to remove the robot from the pool. On the way up it feels pretty light. Once it gets to the surface, full of water, it gets heavier. If you slowly remove it most of the water will drain into the pool. If you pull it out too quickly it will drain a fair amount of water on your pool deck. You should then lift the handle on the top to expose the debris container. This should be emptied and rinsed clean. The robot sucks a great deal of water from the bottom and shoots it out the top, pushing it down, or out so that it can climb walls. Because the robot moves quickly, leaves can be pushed aside, but the robot makes many passes in an hour and should get most debris. It easily picked up a quarter, a 1"x1" tile and a 1.5" stone. Something my pool crawler would have missed. So the suction part works very well. I tried each of the programs for cleaning the floor. Each did something different, but not exactly the path I'd expected. In any case it ran long enough to pass every surface at least once. As far as floor cleaning I'd give it a 10. Wall cleaning was kind of iffy; where I have a rough waterfall lip, it got confused and did the same area over and over. Everywhere else where I have a square cool deck it did fine, except for my steps where its suction blew all the debris away, but I've never seen it climb the steps (3). But for routine cleaning it did a great job, much better than my skimmer pool crawler. I'm very happy with what I've seen it do. I do wish it were solar powered so it did not need to be recharged out of the pool. It would still need to be emptied after running. I also wish it could send a notification when it finishes, but when underwater it can't use its WiFi signal. But when at the top edge of the pool it seems to be able to connect via WiFi. So I think it could be improved, but it does it's job as is, I'd just like a little more. The run history function does not seem to be implemented.

My pool is surrounded by trees and since we are in foothills it tends to get a lot of dust/debris which means I was constantly having to clean the pool throughout the week. This is where the Wybot C1 pro has been a life saver, all I have to do is make sure this pool vac is charged and just drop it in the pool and when I come back my pool is in pristine condition.
The Good:
The C1 pro is easy to set up, all I had to do was charge it and download the app. Everything worked right off the bat, I had no issues with set up or having it run. The first time I used it was right after heavy winds so there was a lot of dirt and debris sitting at the bottom of the pool, it did a respectable job at cleaning up. The C1 Pro didn’t miss any leaf’s or dirt, it even avoided sucking up/damaging the pool tablets. My pool has a waterfall so I test the C1 with it running to see if it was strong enough and it handled the waterfall with ease. After the C1 pro was done cleaning it parked it self towards the edge of the pool and I was able to easily retrieve it. Another great thing about the C1 Pro is how easy the filter is to clean, it pops out with the push of a button and you can hose down the filter.
The C1 pro has a decent app which allows you to set up the type of pool you have and what formation you want the cleaning to occur. The app also allows you to choose the type of cleaning you want done along with run times.
The Bad:
I only have 2 complaints about the C1 pro. One is that the C1 pro the app doesn’t give any push notifications to let me know when the cleaning was done or if the C1 ran out of juice. The other issue is that It does take a while to start when you first place it in the pool but that is just because its celebrating (first time mine took roughly a min and half).
Overall the C1 Pro does a great job cleaning the pool. The machine is well built and the rollers feel like they will last a long time. I love that it can also clean the walls of the pool and how its useable on multiple pool surfaces. The power of the motor on the C1 is a great, I don’t worry about it getting stuck on any type of debris and it can handle going over any rocks that may have been thrown in the pool by kids or adults. The battery life on the pool cleaner has been really good although the C1 is very aggressive when it goes into power saving modes, if not in use the C1 Pro cannot be recognized through wifi unless you turn it on manually. The C1 pro keeps my pool clean and saves me to time what else can I ask for.

We had our pool built 3 years ago and I have been waiting to get one of these types of cleaners and so far very happy with this one and how well it is performing in our pool. It charges fairly quickly in about 3 to 4 hours from almost completely dead and one charge has enough juice to do our entire pool. We have a very large rectangular pool so I was concerned about battery life.
I was able to connect to it via the app without any problem from my Android phone. It has multiple options from within the app as well for patterns and what type of cleaning you want it to do. You can also select 3 of the most common types of cleaning by pressing the power button non the robot in case you don't have your phone or the app. It also comes with a special hook to use with your pole to retrieve off the bottom when it is done cleaning.
Pros
- Charges quickly and battery life is good
- Does a great job picking up debris off the bottom
- Was able to clean the sides and tiles without the additional flotation pieces included
- Easy to empty our the basket and clean
Cons
- Takes over 2 hours to clean our pool so don't expect it to be done very quickly unless you have a smaller pool
- Small but certainly not lightweight
Overall we are very happy with this and has now saved me a few hours of my week scrubbing our pool and vacuuming up debris off the bottom. For this price point it is very competitive with our ones on the market and is a great robot vacuuming for in ground pools.

I have a 12K gallon pool and was looking for something that would do a better job of cleaning my pool better than my suction cleaner. The Wybot is an excellent choice. Don’t let the size fool you. This thing is a work horse. A full charge takes about 3 hours. The Wybot cleans my pool totally with battery life left (about 2 hrs). If you have a smaller pool, there is an option to clean in different cycles or a schedule. For my pool. I get one good clean out of it then have to recharge. This is on the total clean setting which does walls, floor and surface. When doing just floor or walls, I can get a few cleanings out of it before needing recharged.
After charging, setup up your pool in the app. (shape, steps, surface type) then submerge your unit. It will automatically take off. It would be nice if the app had a start/stop button as this had me searching for the instructions when it took off.
The top water jet is ultra-powerful. When the unit was in my pool at the deep end (7 foot) I could still see a wake on the water surface from the unit. The jet is also used to keep the Wybot glued to the wall as it easily climbs the walls. It was interesting watching the unit figure out my steps. When it found the steps it hesitated for a second then backed off slightly, then went at it again with no issue. When cleaning the walls, it bounces up and down for about 10 seconds cleaning the surface to about 6 inches or so out of the water. After cleaning the unit will park itself at the wall, and you just attach a hook to your pool pole and fish it out. Once out, empty the basket and spray off unit to get chemicals off it. Recharge it so it’s ready for the next use. When I cleaned the basket, I found everything from small pebbles, leaves, bugs and sand. Note, that with a standalone cleaner, your pool filters will have an extended life, as all items captured by the Wybot didn’t have to go back to your filter.
As an employee of a pool store, I have seen a lot of cleaners. This one ranks up there with the high dollars ones.
I cannot comment on the longevity of this unit, as it is brand new but, if it lasts a few years with bi-weekly cleaning, this is money well spent.
The app is extremely simple to use. The one downfall is that the unit loses connectivity as soon as it is submerged, so you don’t know when it is done. You just have to guess, or wait till you see it parked. It would be nice to follow it in the app. But I do understand the reason it loses connection due to signal degradation in the water.
The Wybot would be a great addition for pool owners to help keep your pool clean, your filters last longer, and peace of mind.
I would recommend this to any pool owner

Simple and convenient option for pool cleaning

After building a pool in our last backyard, we were aware of the restrictions there are with having a plumbed in pool cleaner. Regardless of what we did, it would not get up the steps and onto the Cabo shelf nor was it able to do any cleaning in the attached in-ground hot tub. We succumbed to the only option we had at the time and that was to do the cleaning ourselves by manually sweeping and scooping and who wants to do that if you don’t have to.
After recently moving from our last house, we built an in-ground pool in our new home which included the plumbing for a connected pool cleaner, as expected. However, we also knew that we would run into the same issue as our previous pool build regarding the Cabo shelf and the hot tub not being a part of the scheduled pool clean. Obviously, this would again require more manual scrubbing which can be a chore. That’s when I started looking into new cleaning options and ran across the new Wybot C1 cordless pool cleaner. It had a similar design as our current pool cleaner but without the corded hassle which often gets tangled and can be a pain to pull out and clean.
Out of the box, the Wybot C1 Pro was almost exactly the same size and design as our plumbed pool cleaner, which works great for our pool build, and was very easy to set up. The robot itself is built with what feels like durable hard plastic which should be able to take a beating and last several seasons and doesn’t weigh too much at approximately 17 pounds. It comes with the charger, some floating pieces if it’s having difficulty suctioning to some surfaces and a convenient retrieval tool you can connect to your pool sweep pole if it stalls out in a deep surface.
After a quick initial charge and connecting to my smartphone application, the Wybot was ready for its inaugural run. Out of pure curiosity and knowing it would be easier to retrieve the Wybot in a shallower surface, I decided to try it in our hot tub since that was one of the areas our plumbed pool cleaner obviously can’t reach. I was actually surprised at how powerful the Wybot’s suction power was and easily traversed the pebble tech style floors and walls we have in the pool and hot tub. It also quickly cleaned throughout the tight space of the hot tub including the steps and walls. I could immediately see the dirt and build up coming off of the floor, steps and walls of the hot tub where that stuff likes to settle.
After tinkering with the Wybot in the hot tub, it was time for the true test in the main pool. I charged it again to ensure it was at full power and placed it onto our Cabo shelf which also does not get cleaned by our plumbed pool cleaner. Again, the Wybot impressed me with how powerful and fast the cleaning was pushing all that dirt and grime off the floors, walls and steps out into the pool to ensure it gets sucked through the pools pumps and filtration instead of settling and sticking on surfaces. The Wybot can return to the place it started, or its “home”, but can also be retrieved using the included hook retrieval tool. Cleaning the Wybot’s filter was very easy as you simply remove the top to expose the basket and pull it out to clean it and spray it out with a hose. It does great picking up smaller items including small leaves, sticks, bugs, etc. However, if your pool is near trees that shed a lot, I would consider an alternative option as the filter basket could potentially fill up relatively quickly and/or get clogged up.
Through the smartphone application, I was able to customize the Wybot to our specific type of pool, tell it how and what to clean including the cleaning pattern and whether to do the floor and/or walls and steps and set a cleaning schedule. The app itself was pretty basic but did what I expected it to do making it easy for those that may not be as tech saavy.
Overall I have been very impressed with the wireless capabilities of the Wybot C1 Pro for our specific pool set up and the fact that we don’t get many leaves or debris at any given time of the year. I would recommend it to anyone in my same or similar situation and even for those looking to use it in a large in-ground hot tub. I would not recommend it for those looking to use it as their only main pool cleaner and who’s pool may get a lot of tree debris.

This is my first ever robotic pool cleaner and after the first use my initial thought was, dang, I should have gotten this a lot sooner. My current set up is a mechanical pool sweeper that is hooked up to an inlet hose. So basically the sweeper just goes wherever it wants without any coordinated design, in other words there is no way to know for sure if all the pool gets swept. Plus, which was the biggest part for me, was water level cleaning. My mechanical pool cleaner was never able to get to the water level of the pool and there is always a build up of calcium deposits. I noticed the Wybot getting further up the side of the pool than my mechanical cleaner ever did. In the box you get a quick start manual and a regular manual, charger and hook that you attach to the end of your pool net to hook the Wybot out of the pool. There is also a float kit just in case the surface of the pool is too slippery for the Wybot to climb the side. I didn't have any issues so I didn't bother. After charging the unit, I downloaded the app and connected my phone with the cleaner. The app is pretty comprehensive with many options. You can select the shape of the pool and the type of surface the pool has so the cleaner will know. The app gives you option to do partial or full clean, how long it should run and to do floor or walls. And so much more. But what really matters is how it cleans. The Wybot did an amazing job. After my first run, I removed the catch bin from the front of the cleaner and was surprised at all the little bugs and debris that was at the bottom of the pool. Dumping all of it out of the bin and just spraying it down to get it clean again was a breeze. They say the run time is about 2 hours on a charge and though I didn't time it, I feel it was pretty accurate. This is Wybot cleaner is going to be so convenient, especially to do a quick and thorough cleaning before any pool party.

Say goodbye to brushing your bottom and walls!

This Wybot - C1 Pro Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner is so cool! It’s basically a robot vac like you use in the house, but for your pool!!! No more vacuuming the bottom or brushing the walls! I love it! I’ve only had it for a short time so far, but I can already tell this is going to be a fantastic addition to our pool and will add to our enjoyment while lessening the workload.
Cleaning Performance:
This robot vac does a very good cleaning job on all the pool surfaces. It creates and utilizes a downward jet of water to vacuum leaves and debris from the pool. That downward force also presses the unit down on the bottom and the walls allowing it to climb the walls to scrub everywhere, including the waterline tiles up to about an inch above the waterline. We have a large freeform pool so the scrubbing of the bottom and walls would always take a significant amount of time. Having this bot do all the wall scrubbing automatically is really convenient for me, and it does a great job at it. There are two large scrubbing rollers that constantly spin and eliminate that green tinge on the pool walls. Anyone who has taken care of their own pool for a while knows how much time scrubbing the walks and bottom can take so this is a major time saver. I like to run this in the mornings when my filter pumps are on high so that any algae stirred up off the walls is then filtered out immediately and that seems to work pretty well. The vacuuming portion can easily handle debris on the bottom like leaves, sticks, and beads, but it’s not quite strong or large enough to pick up larger things like goggles or diving sticks. The debride bin is simple to remove and empty into the trash, then I just spray it out with the hose and replace it back into the vacuum.
Navigation and Mapping:
The navigation system in this unit seemed to learn our pool’s floor plan quickly and efficiently. Just like an in-house floor vacuum, it does a great job of finding its way around and transitions up and down the floor to walls automatically. I was surprised to see that it even has the ability to handle stairs as well as make its way over the various drains, intakes, jets, and lights throughout the pool. This navigates its way throughout the pool for a thorough clean without getting stuck and then finds its way back to a wall and ends its cycle there. There is even an included hook attachment that I place on my pool pole, making it easy to retrieve the cleaner from the edge of the pool and take it out for charge and debris bin emptying.
Battery Life:
Battery life is sufficient for cleaning even larger pools. It has a built-in 4600 milliampere hours lithium battery providing up to 150 minutes of continuous run time. Our pool surface area is about 720 sq ft and it is 8 feet deep at the deep end. That overall area plus the walls make for quite the task when brushing and cleaning by hand but this takes care of the whole thing in one charge. I simply charge it in between each use, so not sure if it would make a second run on the same initial charge, but it definitely handles the entire pool each time.
Smart Features:
The app is simple to set up and works well for connecting and applying certain cleaning preference settings. It’s not quite as neat as some of the in-house floor cleaners I’ve used (like mapping, cleaning progress/percentage, and real time stats on the vacuum) but I believe this is mainly because there is no real time communication with the bot while it’s cleaning due there being no signal transmission from the unit while it’s under water.
Maintenance:
Very simple, just charge it and empty the debris bin after each use. Nothing else needed to keep this going strong. I suppose if your pool has a lot of leaves the debris cannister could fill up quickly and slow progress, but I didn’t have any problems with it filling with too much during each cleaning session.
Noise Level:
There is no audible noise to speak of during operation. The unit just stirs the water up a little bit when it’s near the surface due to the downward jet it creates for suction and staying on the bottom/walls.
Build Quality and Durability:
The build quality and durability of the robot vacuum feel solid and durable. Mostly plastic and rubber as it is a submergible, but all seem like solid components and built to last season over season. The rubberized drive treads and brush drums are made of thick and durable rubber for long lifespan.
Price:
There aren’t a lot of other units like this for me to compare to, but in my honest opinion, I think the price point seems great for the features it offers. I personally would pay the price of this every year to avoid the time it saves me on brushing the pool walls and bottom. Definitely worth every penny in my opinion.

I have had this for about 3 weeks. Works well and was easy to setup. Doesn’t want to climb back onto my Cabo bench to clean it but gets the rest of the pool well. It shuts itself down when the battery reaches a certain point but that can be in the deep end and I need to use the hook to pull it out. I would prefer it always return to the drop in location.

So far so good. Unit performs as it should and always parks against the wall for easy retrieval. The app is a great way to preset the cleaning pattern and check the charge status.

Great cleaner, love that it is cordless and with the supplied hook attachment for cleaning pole, makes it a breeze to get it back out of the pool.

Good product, very easy to use because it has no cables, but the only drawback is the battery life.

Cleans the pool great!! I am hoping I get at least 3-5 years of use from it. I want a little more functionality from the app
