Customers are positive about the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT's performance and price, frequently citing its high frame rates and value for the cost. However, customers are negative about the card's temperature and driver issues, with many reporting high operating temperatures and instability. Some users also noted the card's noise level, particularly under heavy load. Overall, opinions are mixed, highlighting strong performance but concerns regarding thermal management and software stability.

My issue is that my computer (Brand new build, new drivers, new OS, new everything) would randomly BSOD, black screen, and sometimes just freeze just opening Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. I love the FPS I can get with this card and I will 100% purchase this card again once they get the drivers sorted out. I'm sure that the specific card I got just had issues but atm all the 5700 xts are sold out or I'd buy another in a heartbeat. I know AMD is still new to the GPU game so I'm not going to talk badly about them so all I can say is that for right now I'm going with the NVIDIA 2070 Super and I already miss the 5700 xt because I was getting way more fps with it but it does the job for me.

I decided to make the jump from a RTX 1060 to the RX 5700 XT and have ZERO regrets. This card is an absolute beast in gaming and productivity. To top it off I have 3 monitors running from it without any issues. (2 x 27" monitors and 1 x 34"). Two of which are freesync.
My only frustration is with myself for being so anti-AMD for so long that I seriously questioned if AMD would ever pull it off.

Buy this over the super cards, im running a Ryzen 2600 stock cooler 16 GB corsair 3200MHz and 2 monitors, one is a 32'' 4k 100hz hdr and the other is a 27in 144hz and i easily pull 90FPS in apex legends max settings on my 4k monitor and 120-160 on my 27'' . all the while staying at 65-80°C. it's all about your fan setup in your case. i have 3 fans at the bottom of my case blowing air onto the card and 3 fans pulling it out the back of my case. THIS IS A AWESOME CARD!!! and the noise lvl is not bad at all, my rx 580 with 3 fans was much louder. final tip for you guys use the radeon auto settings to control this card, just hold CTRL- SHiFT-R to open it, you can undervolt, underclock or even over clock it from there. much better than MSI after burner. i will update with pictures later.

I purchased this to pair up with an AMD Ryzen 7 3800x CPU for mostly 1080p gaming. I have been trying it out with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Fortnite recently and have been able to average 150 FPS at max settings and up to 240 FPS at the lowest settings. I was a bit disappointed with the red accents and red LEDs this card has as it appears to be all black in the pictures and it looks off in my custom PC with the non-red components I have in there but am satisfied with the performance, sound, and temperatures of this card for its price point.

I purchased this card to replace an aging RX480 8GB card and I couldn't be happier. I know there are lots of people complaining about the blower style cooler but it really hasn't been an issue. The Radeon drivers have an auto-undervolt feature which keeps the fan running below 2000RPM and the card at about 78C. I have more than doubled my GPU power without completely breaking the bank. I highly recommend this card of pretty everything else in the performance tier.

This is a great graphics card. AMD took a huge step forward and the performance of this card against its competitors is laudable. However, the noise and heat produced are too much. This card runs very hot and very loud under load, even after adjusting Wattman settings. I tried everything I could to get them to acceptable levels for me, but couldn't. I ended up returning this card and buying a 5700xt partner card from a different retailer and would recommend that you buy a partner card and not this reference design

The card is nicely built and worth the price. I do advise people to hold off for alittle until the drivers are fixed. I've did a clean install using ddu of the old drivers and still having stuttering.

So far im really satisfied with this card AMD really outdid themselves. Although I must say it does run a little hot but after undervolting I managed to bring it down more than 15c. Had some issues with drivers but a quick clean uninstall of previous drivers fixed all that. Overall great buy Im sure itll get better with future driver updates

The XFX AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT performs very well and keeps very cooled during long gaming sessions. It can run most games at very high framerates. It has one HDMI and three display ports. I do not regret my purchase.

As someone that has been waiting to switch back from Nvidia to AMD, this card is exactly what I was looking for.
If you own a 1440p monitor, this card was tailored for anyone using that resolution as it drives all current games in ultra settings often above 60 FPS. It can even touch base a bit on 4K displays just don't expect ultra settings and 60FPS.
My first PC build used AMD components throughout and was an incredible machine. The new one with a 3700x CPU and this graphics card nails it out of the park as well and that's coming from an older 3570k and a Nvidia 980 GPU.
If I had any con for this card it's the fact that it is just the reference card and other manufacturers like Sapphire will likely be coming out with variants that are likely to be cooler in temperature but other than that, it's incredible for what I use it for.
Overall, if you are looking for a cheaper equivalent of a 2070, take a look at this. Look at benchmarks and see for yourself before making your purchase but if you want to save the money, grab this guy.

A good card, but only for certain situations. Will definitely need to be tweaked and dialed in for temperatures. Unless you're specifically wanting to run this in a case with bad airflow, or plan to watercool it, probably better off with a different non-blower card.

Well, as others have stated, the current drivers are garbage. and I know blower cards are loud, which is generally not a problem because I play with headphones, but WOW I've never heard a blower this loud. Performance is what you would expect based on benchmarks. but the poor drivers is the number one reason for the low score :(

The Stock Blower design is what it is, loud if you turn fan settings up enough to cool the card when overclocking. The card itself and this new generation of architecture however, is great and a big statement by AMD.

It started out with terrible drivers and it took AMD months to even get a decent driver out. It also has a poor cooler design, but there is an easy and cheap fix if you look it up.

My friend and I both had an RX 5700 XT. To be clear, this is not XFX's fault or BestBuy's fault or even necessarily the hardware's fault. The drivers for this card are absolutely horrendous. My friend had an MSI card. We both have had nothing but crashes, black screens, and errors when playing games. I've given it a few weeks which has been dreadful, but I really wanted to give it a chance. Unfortunately it doesn't show any signs of getting better, and I don't trust AMD to fix it anytime soon or EVER.
The card looks great and the performance when its working is great. If they ever fix the drivers, this card will be a true competitor.

For the money paid, the performance is top notch. I have an EVGA ftw 2080ti and in games I play, the difference in FPS is about -25%, but I paid triple the price.
