Great value, great performance.

I purchased this about a week ago, after uninstalling MSI Afterburner and setting a more aggressive fan curve and tweaking a couple settings on wattman, I've been able to get junction temps at around high 70's which I'm content with. Wish to see further improvement with new drivers.

Great card! But, adjust the fan curve manually.

Pro:
* Runs great out of the box! After adjusting the fan curve, it never gets hot, and it's quiet.
* The only lighting on the card is the soft glow that accents the "XFX", and the two blue LEDs that show that the card is running. I'm not too into RGB, and this is great for me.
* It came with a game code for Godfall and WoW.
* Scored 9500 on 3DMark Time Spy benchmark demo in Steam which was good enough for 84th percentile.
Cons:
*** Need to manually adjust fan curve in Radeon Software to prevent high temperatures.
* The BIOS switch was difficult to find, and even more difficult to flip. (not an issue for me because I do not plan on changing it)
* The plastic shroud makes the card rather thick. It takes up 2.5 PCI slots. (also not an issue for me because I don't plan on putting more hardware on my motherboard)
I've only owned this card for 3 days. It's been running amazingly well out of the box (except for one thing)! The only issue is that I had with it was that the stock settings for the fan curve turn the fans on AFTER the card hits a high temperature. The fans are at 0 rpm until the card hits temp, but by that point, the fans are fighting an uphill battle.
Thankfully this was an easy fix. I went into RADEON's Software and manually adjusted the fan curve. Now, the fans are always on with minimum speeds at 35% and then I ramp up the speeds as the temp gets higher. Ever since this change, the card temp has never hit 70 C, and the junction temp has never hit 85 C. This was observed when playing Dead by Daylight on 1920x1080 resolution and high settings at 120 fps with Discord, a Twitch stream, Radeon Software, and Google Chrome running on a second monitor.
Setup:
AMD Ryzen 7 3800x CPU
XFX 5700xt Raw II GPU
ASUS TUF Gaming X570 Plus wifi motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 4x8GB ram
Corsair RMx 850W power supply
2x Asus TUF Gaming VG249Q 23.8" monitors
Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid case

Great preforming GPU.
Things to note is that is does run on the hotter side, so if you do not have a good airflow, it may not be the best choice for your setup. Also, when the fans kick in at full speed, they are on the louder side.
However, that said, It preforms well at 1080 120fps

So stock out of the box this thing was having a bit of trouble staying cool, but if you go to the EVGA website and flash it to the latest BIOS, I found that the cooling performance was greatly improved in the latest BIOS. The fans now come on at a reasonable temperature, and aren't too loud to boot (they sound around the same loudness as a stock Ryzen cooler IMO)
Under load, it hovers around 72C in my case, and boosts up around 1970MHz. Really impressed with this 5700XT, especially considering it's price range. This thing happily runs Modern Warfare maxed 1440p at around 144FPS with no throttling or dips. Awesome.

I upgraded from at EVGA GTX 1070 to this and I love it! From everything I’ve looked up it said that it wouldn’t be worth the upgrade. I currently am getting 30-50 more FPS from all the games I play. A lot of reviews say the card also runs really hot averaging around 80-90c. I believe those are from stress tests and not actually in game results cause mine is averaging 64c pretty steady. I love this card! It is a great mid-range card for the money

Bought this as an upgrade to my build. Previously I had an Rx 580 by XFX and it was doing great. I just wanted a card with more encoding power as well as being able to play games with high settings at 1080P with no problem since this is used for 1440P gaming. Right out of the box I inserted the card and installed the drivers after DDU of the Adrenaline I had before. Played games wonderfully no problem, then when it got demanding my screen went black and green and reset the card. Looked at adrenaline it was stuck at 100%. I restarted confused, opened the game again and looked at temps while playing and there it was over 90C. Fans weren’t spinning because of the zero dB setting they come defaulted by. Messed with setting and was able to get the temps down but I still managed to get a black screen during demanding times. Got fed up with this happening with no fix so returned the card and went for a cheaper one. Got an MSI Nvidia GeForce 1660 Ti and used the extra cash plus some to get a cpu cooler. It’s been a week and I haven’t had any issues like I did with the 5700XT. I’ve even left my PC running all night and day.

Installed this after using an rx 5600 XT from the same manufacturer, and everything was smooth but only because I came from a previous similar AMD card. When you install one of these cards for the first time, you’re gonna need to prepare yourself for some possible headaches. PCIe 4.0 was an issue, but solved this by changing a settings in my BIOS. That and then AMD has a very slow download speed for their drivers, so get prepared to wait awhile. After that was done, it took me a few tries before I could make it past the “installing drivers” screen. After everything though, this card has been the strongest card I’ve owned. I played games like Fallout 4 maxed out settings and GTA 5 high/ultra settings at 4K no problem, but I mainly use it for 1440p which it completely handles like a champ. Have not had a game that gives me under 60 FPS with settings maxed out yet on 1440p, and I play very graphic heavy games. 4K gaming on 60 hz is very possible with this card, and I’m glad to know I could play a game on that resolution if I want to.

The overall performance on this card is next to unbeatable at this price point, I'm at over 100 fps in most titles running 1440p, and pulling around 50-60 fps running in 4k.
The temps at first scared the crap out of me when I seen it get to over 105c on the junction temps. However, if you play around with the fan curve, you will see a noticeable change in the temps. I started off idling around 62c and was at around 105c under max load. I changed the fan curve to 30% at above 30c, 60% above 50c, 70% over 65c, 85% above 75c, and 100% at 85c +. now I'm idling at 32c, and not reaching over 55c under max load. So something to consider when getting this card, you will need to tweak the fan curves.

Pickup was quick and easy, freebies were easy to redeem and the card is fantastic. I read some bad reviews on reddit about the thermals of this card, but tweaking the fan curve on adrenalin fixed any issues. Idle, the card runs from 32 degrees celsius to 36. When under load the card runs at a high of about 72 degrees. In most games i can easily hit 60fps at 1440p (with my ryzen 5 2600 being the limiting factor) and 144fps at 1080p is easy peasy for most games. Overall, i got this card at a good price compared to some of the 'better' rx 5700xts and i think it was a great deal for a fantastic beefy card.

This was a great GPU. I owned it for around 3-4 days. I returned it and purchased a 2080 Super. The card was fine and the temps were good. The problem is with the software and the drivers. I had bad luck and it is a wide spread issue so instead of dealing with it I jumped ship and I am much happier.

I purchased the XFX 5700XT RAWII video card from Best Buy last night. And I have one word: WOWSERS! This is an extremely good graphics card over the NVidia GTX 970 Card that I had in my PC up until last night. I've never seen over 100 FPS in my online games that I play, and it's pretty consistent unless I'm in a congested area with lots and lots of players/traffic. My lag is virtually non-existent. It performs very well, and I'm very impressed. The card was a little larger than I had anticipated, and barely fit in my case. But it did, and I couldn't be happier!!
Thanks Best Buy, XFX/AMD!!!

The difference is incredible as far as frames go and not only that the heat, which EVERYONE warned me to stay away from is fine. Even under load, i dont even have a fancy cooling set up. Just an AIO on my CPU and a few push pull fans
Card runs stable, made everything look better, even just the desktop operation and its strong. I have a AMD Ryzen 2600X and 16 gigs of ram.
Hasnt met a game it couldnt power through yet, i do play exclusively in 1080 144hz now and im averaging 100+ frames on most games on high and sometimes even high 80s or 90s on ultra settings
all in all, for the price this card is bonkers good

Purchased this card due to my Sapphire RX 480 going TU on me. This is my first non Sapphire card and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by it's performance. Card runs cool and quiet. Max temp I observed is 63 Celsius. I play World of Tanks on ultra settings and average 138.7 fps. Metro Exodus averages 87.6 on extreme settings. Both games are played at 1440p. Very pleased with this card. I will be giving XFX a closer look from now on. Recommend this card for anybody that is looking to get excellent frame rates at 1440p. Note: To those with limit space, the card is big and it does take up 2.5 PCI slots

The card is good. Temperature around 50-70C on V-sync. Excellent for 1440P and even better at 1080P. This is a great substitute until The 6000 series or the 3000 series are back on stock. The 5700XT still dominates Next-Gen games.
One thing to keep in mind when purchasing this card, if you are just entering PC gaming please do not buy this, all the negative reviews I’ve seen so far are from people who have no idea what they are doing, save yourself the headache and get yourself a 1660 TI, also this card does get hot but only if your PC has no good airflow.

Very good GPU for the price, and it's even available right now. Ran most of the games I threw at it at high or ultra settings with solid framerates. In some games I was even able to hold 60 FPS at 4K, others I was able to get 100+ FPS in 1440p.
The main drawback is that the AMD drivers and utilities are still not as good as Nvidia's, and I ran into some driver issues immediately. This is also a generation old now, with the 6xxx series out, but those have been extremely difficult to locate, and this offers a soilid 70% of the performance for 70% of the price.

As the title says ive recently returned a card that had a thermal issue, returned the card and received another card that seems to have a different issue with lines going theough my screen. Both were warranty replacement from XFX directly and not through BestBuy. How ever the issue with XFX is now ive paid twice for return shipping generally paying for 2-3 day to speed repair time so i hoped. How ever it seems to take over a week for them to receive the card test and return another catd which they return bia ground shipping and takes multiple days to receive and they have no way to speed the process according to cudtomer service. So now for the second time in 3 months i have to go over a week without a PC.

Pros: good price, quiet, solid overall performance, easy to configure software
Cons: there is intermittent stuttering in some games, this seems to be a driver issue. Radeon software not as good as nvidia in my opinion.
