Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the SPEEDSTER MERC319 AMD Radeon RX 6950XT's performance, especially its high frame rates in games and ability to handle high resolutions. Many appreciate the card's excellent price-to-performance ratio, although some note its large size and occasional fan noise. Positive feedback also highlights the effective cooling system and user-friendly software. However, a few users mentioned the card's substantial dimensions as a drawback.

I recently upgraded from a gtx 1080 to the 6950xt. So far i am really enjoying the card as I am moving into the 1440p visual sector. What i really like besides the performance is the AMD Adrenaline software that allows you to set different visual options per game as well as monitor every aspect of the card in-game. This helps with older titles as some of them need to be fps limited to avoid issues. I would recommend turning off the zero rpm mode or setting an aggressive fan curve as the card will get very hot(which is normal) but i prefer to keep temps in the 60 degree territory. I also like the 16gb of vram as this will make this card future proof for a long time. Much better price per frame than the other guys. One last note is to be sure if you are switching from Nvidia is to delete all old drivers using DDU software before installation. Great card and excellent performance. Highly recommended.

I had several concerns about the XFX Merc 319 Radeon RX 6950 XT when I purchased it. The main worry that I had was that XFX is known for making large graphics cards that might not fit in my Corsair 4000D case. When I received the card, I was relieved to see that it fit with a little room to spare. There is a little bit of GPU sag, but I’m looking into different options to correct for that. While talking about aesthetics, I have to comment that I saw a lot of people talking about how they felt the white “Merc” graphic on the backplate of the card detracted from the overall look of it in their systems. Honestly, that was never a concern for me since my CPU cooler helps to hide that part of the backplate, and the lighting for the Radeon logo and model number look very tasteful. On to performance, before using this card, I was using an AMD reference 6750 XT, and I always felt that card ran a little hot with the junction temp hovering around 100 degrees Celsius. (That card starts to thermal throttle around 110 degrees) The XTX Radeon 6950 XT tends to run with a junction temperature in the mid 70s while drawing around 303 watts under load, so it runs much cooler than the card I was using previously in my system. I tend to game at 1440P and everything I play runs at 144 FPS (my monitor’s refresh rate) on the highest settings. The only title that does not hit 144 FPS is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, which tends to fluctuate and cap out at about 70 FPS on ultra settings. I suspect that since my monitoring software reports only 54% GPU utilization, that is probably an engine cap in the game itself since my 5800X3D is not reporting high utilization either. You want a GPU that can give you high performance? This card delivers. You want a GPU that runs cool and quiet with no coil whine under load? This card delivers. And right now with the new flagship Radeon 7000 series cards available, this card is a real value for the money. I definitely recommend the XFX Merc 319 Radeon RX 6950 XT.

I had bought the LG C2 and decided to upgrade from my previous video card (3060ti) to push 4K. This card has been near perfect and for the current sales price of $650 is a no brainer. I can play nearly all games at 4K max settings at over 60fps and well optimized games at 100+. Highly recommend this card for anyone who desires 4K gaming without spending 1000+ for a card.

Upgraded from my 3080 and got a 36% performance improvement. I paid $780 on Black Friday. I get 220-240 FPS in WZ 2 on 1440P using DDR4 RAM and a 10850K. No driver issues and gameplay is butter smooth. Seeing that most XTX will need to be recalled I will hold on to this until I can get a Sapphire Nitro XTX. I highly recommend this card, if priced in the $700 range.

Used this along with Intel i5 13600k. Replaced a 3060. Good performance boost. I started hearing a lot of fan noise when playing and thought it was new Gpu. I had an air tower cooler on cpu and decided to water cool it instead. Ended up being tower cooler fan ramping up causing the noise. First pic shows air cooler and last one the liquid cooler, the current configuration. Very happy with purchase, would recommend, especially at sale price.

    Powerful Monstrosity of a GPU

I have been waiting for the GPU market to improve since I built my gaming PC in late 2020. Unable to snag a high-end 30 series card, I settled for a 3060 at MSRP in summer 2021, but it just couldn't handle 1440p at max settings, let alone 4k. After a poor 40-series launch and no MSRP stock of the 7900xtx, I finally decided to purchase this beast. I had been lucky to receive a $150 BBY gift card from coworkers, so I ended up paying $675 out-the-door (taxes included). I think this is a pretty reasonable price for a card that beats the 3090 in rasterization. In terms of ray tracing, this is closer to the 3070 Ti and 3080 level of performance. The thing is, ray tracing is still in its infancy and even the 4090 can't run the Witcher 3 next-gen with ray tracing max and 4k at a stable 60 fps, so I'll wait until the 5000 series to purchase an RT card. For the next 2 years, this GPU should demolish whatever you throw at it (non ray-traced, of course). This GPU is massive, I have uploaded photos of it next to my 3060 and you can see just how monstrous it is. I'm not noticing any sag, but still might end up purchasing a sag bracket. In the box there is only the GPU and associated documentation. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase in this GPU market, and expect a minimum of 2 more years out of this card before it starts getting outdated. I would recommend waiting until the price of this card is around $550-600 to get a really good price-to-performance deal.

Initial impressions are excellent. It does have slight screen flicker on the windows Home Screen, but not while gaming. Playing at 4K with most games achieving over 100 fps at high or ultra settings (even in 2023).

This GPU was better than I thought. Easy to install and software is just as eay to use as nivida. Currently play starfield at 1440p get 144 FPS. Would probably get more FPS if i had a better moniter. Best purchase i made for this PC build. The only thing i would say is to make sure you have a decent size case. My case is a Corsair 5000D. Wouldnt get anything smaller then that for this GPU.

Easy install and looks fantastic, only gripe would be you cannot change the white led on the side. Have it vertically mounted and would love to be able to control the color. Eats 1440p games like they're nothing
