I'm going to assume you already know how a 5700 XT performs. I did not have an issues with the drivers as of this writing. The initial version of this card did have problems, but I got the one with the new copper baseplate, which fixed the issues. This card cools as well as any of the other 2 fan cards (see attached image). It's a good value at it's current price and has a 3 year warranty. Overall, one of the best 5700 XT's you can buy, taking all things into consideration. Just make sure you have room for it. It is a large card. It is thicc enough though that I see very little (if any) sag.

Big Upgrade

I have run the XFX R9 290 for the past 5+ years and received way more value out of that card than I had expected. It lives on now in a pc for a new gamer, still without any issues. With that experience in mind, I was happy to see a great deal on this card here.
This card is a big upgrade in more than just performance. The thing is physically massive, to the point of excess. When I pushed the GPU down to lock it into place into the PCI-E slot, I did not expect the shroud to cover the lock release completely. This has effectively locked the card onto my motherboard. Fortunately, I did not receive a defective card and have not continued to try and take it out without a reason as I am worried that I may damage the motherboard.
Let me say that while this card has some pretty rough reviews for its cooler, it can often be found for $50-75 less than the 5700 XT's with "top tier" coolers. That puts it really near the 5700 pricing range.
By default, my card runs at 1.2V and sits around 75C (95C Junction) and constantly boosting around 1920-1940mhz under full load.
I've found that this card performs better with less voltage. By setting it to 1.1V, it now sits around 75C (94C Junction) with sustained boosting around 1990-2010mhz under full load.
You can increase the power limit once you have found the lowest voltage with the best performance as cooling allows.

If you check this card out on line it got a bad rap XFX redesigned the cooler Offered people who already purchased it a fix not many companies would do this I called them personally and they answered the phone and ask them about the cooler and then purchase the cards I'm glad I did fans run about 2000 to 2400 RPMS and stays very cool the edge temperature between 70 and 74 Celsius that junction temperature between 90 and 93 Celsius and I keep my house at 70°which is 23 Celsius I have no complaints The performance at 1440 is excellent

My fellow gamers and online reviews prompted me to upgrade to this card. My 2060 would get DirectX errors daily so I wanted a new card.

Overall I can say that this card has been well worth the sale price. It performs about 15% better than my previous RX Vega 56 and uses less power and at much lower temperature. The card is a little thick ,hence the name, so make sure you have 2.5 slot clearance for you pci express. It reaches high to max settings on pretty much any game at 1080p and 1440p. Overall great card.

Had a computer built using this graphics card so I could play VR. This plays everything smoothly and runs surprisingly quiet. Better price option then the Nvidia big boy cards. Besides the AMD Freesync is a way cheaper option and works great.

Considering the Release Price...

This card was originally more pricey than the Raw and spec wise supposedly performs better. At the price of $369, adding tax comes under $400 and becomes quite a deal. Now that being said the 5700 xt has been known to be more of a silicon lottery than some other cards. Out of the box this card didn't perform anywhere near the target range of acceptable benchmarks. This card has a BIOS switch for performance and Silent running. Performance BIOS setting allowed me to bench closer to where it should be and I achieved some decent scores but stability and heat became an issue that I had to fight. Placed it back on Silent BIOS and with a few some vested time and minor tweaks managed to reach quite acceptable performance with the hotspot being under 80c and the rest of the card around 70c or less. If you are willing to do a little research and some foot work you can get a solid running card for the money. I read reports of benches that were about 1k more than I was getting and I may simply not won the silicon lottery, been bottlenecked a bit by my aged MB/CPU/RAM. I did get a stable card that runs generally without issues so long as I don't push it hard in tweaks. Hope this helped a bit.

I bought it and took it home. Loaded the latest AMD driver and installed the gpu. Booted the PC and haven't had an issue yet. It replaced an R9-390 that was showing its age. In the few games I'm currently playing I've gone from high to ultra settings and my Frame rates have more than doubled. The card has run cooler than my old one and is quieter. About the only draw back is the size. This thing almost required the removal of my HDD cage. It's also a 2 1/2 slot card. Make sure you know how big a GPU your case can handle before you buy. Overall I'm very pleased with this GPU and would recommend it to anyone.

The video card works very well, as long as you have a proper power supply for it. I had an EVGA 600W and it could not even handle it! I had to get a more powerful 750W in order for it to properly work out of the box! After that though, it performed great! Make sure you get the latest drivers from AMD!

I have been using this card for a little over a week, and so far it’s been spectacular. Extremely quiet cooling and good temps.
Haven’t run into any driver related issues. The bonuses are XFXs excellent support and hilarious naming conventions.

I was pretty happy for this card but I did not know all the black screens that this card produce. I did update the Bios and all drivers and even using the last drivers from AMD the problem continued
What I did after decided to return it was to buy the RTX 5700

Non stop crashes, never worked properly from day one, they’ve never had availability so they won’t replace it and refuse to return it. It’s a faulty product and I’m looking into what I need to do to get my moneys worth.
