It could just be the manufacturer issued a bad lock however upon delivery the item’s box looked a bit damaged however the content of the lock seemed non damaged. Upon Installation the internal latch assembly showed signs of defect. This caused difficulties in locking and unlocking the actual door. It was so tight for the latch assembly to respond to work that it would not turn on the strength of the motorized motor. (I didn’t use any power tools and used hand strength without over tightening) After removing it and observing the internal latch assembly I compared it to the old latch, (which is going to the back door of my house and is motorized as well) I noticed that the new latch assembly was far less in quality compared to the old one. Disappointing was that the new latch assembly was smashed causing the malfunctioning of the device. Also, the motor on the lock turns opposite of the assembly assignment, meaning it will not lock the door however will unlock the door when it is supposed to lock the door. I unfortunately will have to return and get a new lock and hope for better results.

This is an excellent door lock. Automatically locks itself when you leave and automatically unlocks as you drive up. Also auto locks once you’re inside your home.

I have had this lock for almost 2 years. I love it. Great when I have my hands full of groceries and I'm not able to forget with keys

Convenience at your door. I have the key on my chain for backup but once I had this paired to my smart home I may never go back. I come home and the lights are on and the door is unlocked and everything is just easy. Get notified when someone comes over to let the dogs out. Set a code for the family to get in when you need them and then delete it to keep them out. I recommend this to any tech nerd out there. For those who don't want the tech the codes are easy to program at the door and the instructions are simple

Installation was mostly ok. Tricky to get the wire to align in the right position before screwing on the inside door component. After moving my z-wave dongle closer I have not had any trouble remotely locking/unlocking after a month of use. Adding with home assistant was straight forward.

I ordered rubbed bronze and got gold. Had no idea people were still purchasing gold door locks however I had to immediately return. Come to find out that the sku number is mismatched in BB system. I ordered this at the store and it was discovered at the store that there was an internal error on the different sku numbers. I was told this was going to be updated. Hope this happens soon because the oil rubbed one came damaged.

I gave this 4 stars because the lock part works great. Easy to use, looks nice and semi-functions well. While putting the locking codes in and the maun functionality of it works well. The app does not. I cant get it to connect with the lock and in that. I can't lock/unlock it remotely nor can i get it to connect to the Wi-Fi. I was very disappointed about that part. I was hoping that they would update the app but as of yesterday 01/08/22. Its still doing the same thing. So it wasn't any point in me paying that extra 60 bucks for the Wi-Fi package stuff if its not working

Easy to set up and the ability to remotely lock/unlock the door is great.

Yale door locks are so easy and great for secure locking

We love using this Yale Lock Deadbolt. It pairs with Ring alarm which makes it convenient for us. We can lock and unlock with the Ring app. It's easy to install as well. You do not need to drill any extra hole like other keypad out there. I would highly recommend to buy this especially if you have the Ring alarm hub.

Install easily as long as your hole in the door is large enough to accommodate it. We had to drill a larger hole in our steel door. In order to use the remote properties, you have to purchase a yale part to replace the part that comes with it. That was not very clear to the less software savvy crowd like me. Best buy no longer sells these. All in all, I would not have purchased it if I knew about these issues.

Great product! I have never installed a deadbolt lock before, and was installing on a door that did not have one previously. Everything except the tools (Drill bits, chisels) are included with this product and a simple how to video on youtube made installing this a breeze!

Good battery life and easy integration into the Hubitat Hub. I do feel that the build quality is a little less than the Schalge tochscreen lock that it replaced, however still a good quality.

A reallly great lock that’s easy to use and even easier to install. I’m not that handy but I was able to put the lock on the door with no issues and it’s still working!!!

This lock is just what I wanted. I can open and lock the door from far away. I travel a lot so I can get my family to look after my plants and mail.

I ordered this ring product online and it was shipped quickly and arrived right on time. Was easy to install and is so very nice not to use a key.

Lock works perfect, no issues. Installation was a bit tedious but I figured it out.
